I feel so warm and fuzzy, and and.. Honored too. redface As I normally never get many anons, if any.

A peculiar writing, but you don't see a reason to worry. You shield your eyes as the looking glass suddenly flashes brightly, peering through the spaces of your fingers with a squinted view and reflecting irises.

The glow doesn't last for long so you lower your hand, and are surprised by the fact there's people in the mirror! There's a tall woman inside, completely white like the Christmas snow, with long shining hair and a bright white godly glow about her. She looks kindly down at you, adorned with a gentle maternal smile.

Joining her by her side is a cartoony figure of opposite color contrast, wearing a long cloak with jagged bulk shoulders and a tall hood that looks more like a top hat, a top hat that has a tall crooked line sticking out of it's top. Not only that, but it does have some same color contrast as it's partner; a white skull mask where it's face would be, except more rounded with hollow circles for eyes and a hollowed circle for where the nose would be, and for teeth? Three long spikes.

The maternal woman is known as Lady Life, while the cartoony figure is actually her husband, Lord Death. The Goddess & God of Life and Death.

''Hello, hello, it's great to see you! Happy Holidays, Good Cheer towards Humanity and Merry Christmas!'' Greets the Grim Reaper as he sways side to side.

''Well, it's not Christmas yet, but it will be in nine days!'' corrects Life, tilting her head in his direction. ''To think, we've been here in the Gaian world for a while year since last Christmas.. It's been fun hasn't it? Evil Punch and a crazed Storyteller aside, anyways.''

''Yep! Without those it's been a very fun year!'' Death answers chipperly and bounces in place.. What an odd personification of Death, but he's this way for good reason.. trust me on this. ''We've met many Gaians like you along the way, and have given out many gifts! Though we're afraid they're not much in price, we hope you don't mind!'' He turns his attention back to the confused Gaian in the mirror, tilting his head to a complete left angle. Ow, that hurts my neck typing it. ''We promise it's a nice little gift though. You've had your eyes on it for a little while now! You can sell it though if you like, we won't have harsh feelings about it!'' A huge white cubical hand pops out of nowhere and wags a giant long finger.

''Mmhm, it just means a little more gold in your pocket for the holidays.'' Life smiles once more down to their Receiver and presses a hand against the glass. ''We're sorry to have interrupted you, dear Loony Leeny, we just wanted to pay a short visit and give this to you.''

You nearly jolt as your hands start sparkling, a quizzical expression taking over your face as you wiggle your hands about. What the-?! The Gods can't help but laugh at your reaction, assuring you everything is fine. You stare at them with the same bewildered expression, then glance back down once you notice there's weight in your grasp.

A white present with green ribbon now rests there, holding their gift to you inside.

''You can open it now if you like, or wait till Christmas. Either way we don't mind, we're not Santa so we can't go by his rules.'' Life jokes and winks with a grin. ''Besides, we won't be around for long, our time here in the Gaian world is growing very short.''

''Yeees, unfortunately that's very true..'' Death sighs as he straightens up from his current bending, ''You see, we made a pact with our world and this world, a 'cross-over' pact if you will. It allowed us to stay here for one entire year! It started when we came to the Christmas Event last year, where we first appeared and began to gift all you lovely Gaians. We stayed here and appeared for every Holiday Event!''

He bounces in place at the memories, such wonderful memories! Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, even the Pie Event! And of course, Halloween. ''But now since this is the new year and it's Christmas, our pact is drawing to a close. Our home world needs us.'' His round eyes grew sad for a moment, but brightened back up! ''But at least we'll leave with pleasant memories of you all!'' The God reached through the mirror and patted Looney on the head affectionately a few times. ''It was very nice to meet you, Looney Beeny Booney!''

Life laughed and lightly bonked her head against her husband's. ''Forgive him, he makes fun of all the Gaian names here, you're not the first.'' She said heartfully to the lovely & patient Receiver. ''But he is right. It was lovely meeting you, Leeny. We hope you have a very wonderful New Year and a Merry Christmas, too. Farewell, my dear!''

With that, the couple gave a wave to Looney Lenny and faded from the mirror, which soon burst into light and vanished.

Something about an important phone call about a doctor's appointment he had in a few hours. It could wait. &I'M TRYING TO RIG UP THESE LIGHTS!& he called furiously, finally reaching the end. The ladder slowly fell backward and with a yell, he landed on his back in the deep powdery snow. Sitting up angrily, he peered over his shoulder. Seeing you, he grinned in embarrassment. &M-Merry Christmas!& he said, trying to hide his rage.

Just received this one.. It made me giggle in real life. Reminds me of one of my favorite holiday movies. : )
