Sounds like an interesting concept and this is what I came up with.

Looking through the market Isabelle wasn’t sure exactly what she was looking for. She brushed long blonde hair over a shoulder as she moved slowly from vendor to vendor until she came across a row of silks that caught her attention. Pausing she let her fingers trail over the smooth cloth and smiled to herself, a gown of this would be beautiful. There was a deep green with lighter flowers embroidered on the material that particularly stood out to her.

Lifting the fabric from the table Isabelle looking it over for stains as the vendor, a small woman who Isabelle knew was far too candid for her own good. Isabelle smiled to the woman, “Good morning Mrs. Rosewood.” The little woman inclined her head, “Morning Lady Rogan. I see you’ve found my silks.” Holding up the green material in her hands Isabelle nodded her head, “Yes and I believe you may have a sale on your hands depending upon the price.”

As they were haggling over the final price of the cloth Isabelle heard shouting behind her and turned just in time to see a large man running at her, one of her bodyguards who’d been almost unnoticeable. Knocking her to the ground even as she felt pain erupt through her upper arm the guard was trying to protect her from some unseen danger. Blatantly she realized she’d just heard a gunshot and her sluggish brain processed that the pain in her arm must be a result of such an action.

Isabelle didn’t know it but her life would never be the same after today. There would always be pain in her left arm whenever it was cold and rainy. She would never have her full strength in that arm again so long as she lived. It was unfortunately the day Isabelle’s world changed forever and rendered her never able to properly use her favored bow. She didn’t know it yet but soon she would realize what had truly happened here, a man… jealous of her recent engagement announcement had decided if he couldn’t have her no one else could either. At least she would still have her life, her guard had saved that much at least.

Lonely Kitty.

I was walking home on a breezy cold night, with my feet dragging slowly on the colorful ground. When suddenly, I heard a soft cheetah cry and my heart jumped. Was there a wild animal around here? I looked around slowly, almost trying not to move a muscle. MEOW!! "AHHHHH!!!" I shrieked from the top of my lungs. Then, just as soon as I was getting ready to make a run for it, I spied a peculiar moving figure from the corner of my eyes. Slowly, I turned around to find a poor stray kitty trapped it a rusty yellow cage near the nasy old dumpster. How did he get here? I asked myself. I kneeled down to get a closer look. This poor cat looked as if he had gotten run over by a car!! AWW!!! His eyes were huge and his hair looked as fluffy as a tremendous clump of feathers. I slowly reached out and touched the Cat's tiny nose, and felt the cold vibe of it dance onto my fingers.
Meow. Poor little cat... As he shivered violently the wind blew hard with no mercy. I looked into his eyes, they were begging me to take him home. But I couldnt. And I didnt. The only thing I could offer that poor kitten was a name.
