Finally have had some time to make some personal art. These are doodles from my sketchbook I re-did in Illustrator at school. Avi art and fan art of Morrigan! ♥ If I had Illustrator and Photoshop on my laptop I'd have no problem w/ opening an art shop

Illustrator is sooo much faster than drawing in Paint Tool Sai. I need Illustrator on my laptop cry

Your pencil sketches must be pretty solid but I suggest that you learn to create the line art yourself, Illustrator line art looks somewhat un-natural. It's hard work, I know, but worth it in the long run.

The eyes are a bit big and the hand is too small on the last one.
Other than that, they look pretty good to me.

Most peoples' hands are about the length of their entire face. For small hands, the fingertips should stop at about mid-forehead. Keep that in mind when you draw them.

Also, my mother gave me some really great advice about drawing hands. Think of them as different planes, slopes, and shapes when you're drawing. Look at your own hands and notice the curve of the different muscles and the general shape of your palm. Use those as guidelines and fill out the other details as you go.
When you say, "I want to draw someone's left foot!" it's more than likely going to come out warped and incorrectly if drawn from memory. Your brain remembers the idea of the foot, rather than the exact shapes. I'm not sure if this is making any sense, whatsoever. sweatdrop

This helped me, if nothing else I said does.
