No, this journal is not very colorful.

For now, there are no extraordinarily pretty banners or poems or pictures or anything of that nature.

Just the thoughts of my little boy. Welcome to his journal.

I couldn't recover the RPs I saved in my old log because it got screwed. So, I'll put new RPs in here. n_n

Remarkable! I recovered the last half of one with Pajama Pie and Junketsu, but that's all that could be salvaged from the old journal.

Lex and Junketsu
Azurai
Rai chuckled. "Lex tore most of the flowers out of my yard. Hates 'em. Not sure why," she said, glancing at the tiny bare patches where stems used to inhabit.

Lex rolled his eyes and pushed the radio towards her. He decided to stop trying to interpret to her what he was saying. "Mussic," he said, putting his hands in his lap. Maybe she'd get it.

Pajama Pie
"Oh, well thats to bad, why doesn't he like them? Just like a random hatred?"

Junketsu smiled and again went to pressing all of the button, the music was changing as was the sound level, and even the languages. "my mosic!"

Azurai
"Nope," she said, and laughed. "Akilah, the chicken element toddler - she has quite an influence on him. And she hates flowers, so...well, you get it."

Lex smiled and nodded. Getting an idea, he quickly crawled back to the step in front of his door, picking up a little plastic guitar and dragging it back. He plucked a string and grinned proudly as it produced a high pitched tune. "Gurrar," he said, and offered it to her.

Pajama Pie
"Oh, that explains it! My Junketsu also met Akilah, however the two didn't go near the bed of flowers. Not yet at least."

Junketsu took the guitar, but she was unable to hold it. Instead she left it on the ground and began to sort of pound on it, only hitting some notes here and there. All in all it eally was not a very pleasing noise. "Boom!"

Azurai
"Well that's good, or you wouldn't have a flower bed anymore," Rai said with a laugh.

Lex frowned slightly, watching her bang on the guitar. "Try," he said after some effort, and scooted the guitar towards him, plucking a string. He pushed it back towards her again, offering for her to try it.

Pajama Pie
"That is right."

Junketsu took the guitar back and this time tried plucking the string. The sound resulting was far nicer than her banging on the instrument.

Pajama Pie
"Oh my, I really must be on my way now, it really is gettting rather late. Come along Junketsu its time for bed dear." PJ walked over to where Junketsu and Lex where playing, and picked her up. He patted Lex gently on the head and said good bye once more to Azurai before leaving. "Good bye take care. Hope to see you soon!"

And yet another has been recovered from Vivian's journal, though it seems to be missing a piece...

Lex and Vivian
Jeff's note
Dear Azurai,

As you already know our little twerps like to interact with each other. So, I think you should bring Lex over today and we'll have some observing time, while the two get to know each other better. Everybody wins!

From Jeffrey K. powl, Your number one news journalist

Jeffrey K. Powl
Jeffrey anticipated the arival holding Vivian close. "Ah, Lex will be coming over today!" Vivian looked curiously. "Leelee-boo?"

Azurai
"Vivian, Lex! You know, the one who tugged on your hair?" Rai said as she carried Lex along, squirming. "She called you Lee-lee boo?" Rai said as she put the baby down on the ground so he could run ahead.

"Yiss," Lex said. He had just learned the word, and was responding to everything with it, even if that was bad. He recognized the name "Lee-lee boo," and so recognized Vivin. Or whatever her name was. In his hand was clutched the small radio he had found the other day. As they arrived at the house, Lex ran into the yard. "Baffgav!" he called, which meant absolutely nothing at all.

Jeffrey K. Powl
"Ah, Vivian, it's our guest!" Jeffrey ran putting Vivian down near Lex and went to Azuari. "Yes, hello, hello."

Vivian reignized Lex with a smile she sat next to him and watched, curiously looking at his radio. "Leelee-boo!" She finally yelled out.

Azurai
Lex grinned and put the radio down, pulling up the little antenna. He pressed a little button and started to turn a little white dial, listening as the fuzz sound went up and down in volume. Finally he rested on a slightly fuzzy station with a faint guitar in the background. He clapped, and pointed to it, proud of himself. "Rahjoh," he said, trying to say radio, but having a little trouble.

"'Lo," Rai said, grinning and nodding a greeting. "I'm Rai, nice ta meetcha," she said, holding out her hand for him to shake. "I've never seen you before - what happened to Sketchy, if you don't mind my asking?"

Jeffrey K. Powl
"Racho?" Vivian took no time to grab the radio from him and looked at all the buttons, switches and dials. Amazed, she turned the dial making Lex loose the guitar sounds.

Jeffrey was hesitant. "Oh, him? He's away, far way. I'm the- uhh, nanny!"

Azurai
Lex cackled with delight as she flipped the switches and turned dials and pressed buttons. He pressed one button and the station immediately flipped to some yodeling weirdo with an accoustic. Cringing, he pressed it again, and it went back to fuzz. "Racho, yissss," he said, just as amused Vivian.

"The nanny?" Rai said, and grinned. "You look more like a doctor or something, but alright," she said, and smiled. "Where'd he go that's 'away, far away'?"

The rests seems to have disappeared...

Lex and Lyrus
This has been recovered from Lyrus' journal. Part of it is missing, however.

Moofuls
Lyrus was bored. Life had been so boring since he got home. He had spent the greater part of the evening 'doodling' on another of the glass discs Moo had brought him. It was alright... Possibly one of his bests. But his mind wasn't on it. Yes, he was bored. Bored...bored....hmm..

Moo had said someone was coming visit. Who that someone was, he wasn't exactly sure. She had mentioned Azurais and ice and snogging, whatever that was. It really didn't make much sense to Lyrus. Whatever was going to happen, he hoped it would happen soon. Remember, he was bored.

Azurai
With a loud boomcrashish noise, Azurai burst through the door. "HIYO!" she said, grinning. She paused, looked around, and spotted Lyrus on the ground. "Perfect!" she said, and in a sweeping motion, placed a rather disgruntled Lex on the ground in front of Lyrus. The blue-haired baby had his little arms folded, eyes narrowed for no particular reason. He raised a baby brow at Lyrus' disc.

"Gfooganug?" he inquired. Rai, meanwhile, looked around.

"Baby! Where's Moo?" she said, then remembered that babies didn't respond. So, taking advantage of the empty house, she pranced off, hoping to run into her lover Moo...or Isto...either way. (( wink ))

Moofuls
Lyrus jumped visably when the door slammed open, glancing with wide eyes towards it as if he expected Noharu to step through. He put it past her. She had, after all, yelled quite a few things about killing him. ...Teehee.

But it was, in fact, not the evil woman. It was just that crazy lady who occasionally dropped by to visit Moo. Lyrus could remember her from a while ago... But this time she had someone with her. Deciding to ignore Rai--she was noisy--, he mimiced the new boy's expression and raised a brow, at the same time etching another colored swirl--this one pale green--in the glass. "Isssc. Oo ta?"

Azurai
Lex found the mimicking of his grumpy composure amusing, but he kept it to himself. He wasn't gonna let this guy see him laughing or anything, oh no. Strange gray guy...though the yellow horn was very nice. Lex wanted a horn. Stupid gray guy.

"Pfffgov," he said, outstretching his little hands to hold the piece of glass. He was more interested then he usually was with other people, but he was not being as grabby as he usually was. Which was interesting. He usually just took what he saw. But he felt he didn't want this gray thingy as an enemy. Besides, he had a wicked awesome horn.

Moofuls
Pffgov? Lyrus snorted. What a stupid name. Now he knew the loud lady was crazy. But this 'Pffgov' wanted his glass! ....Well, Lyrus decided to take pity on someone with a name like that. Shrugging, he handed over the glass disc, hiding a smirk. Flaunt the talent, and look as if he wasn't. Waiting for praise.

While he waited, Lyrus took a moment to eye over this new boy. Very blue. Much different from himself. And he had hair and...glass in his head? What was that? Without thinking, Lyrus reached out a hand and poked the center jewel, murmuring approvingly in baby-talk.

Azurai
Lex flinched slightly when Lyrus poked the jewel in his head, but then recovered and acted like he didn't care again. Surprisingly enough, he was sensitive about the glass thingy in his head. Mum had tried touching it, and he'd tried to bite her. But since then, she'd tried to touch the jewel many times, so now he was down to a little flinch. He looked down at the glass piece, and spun the discs in his fingers. It was pretty, and he liked how colorful it was.

"Mfffff," he said, nodding his liking of the little disc.

Moofuls
Ahaha, wuss, flinching like that. 'Course, Lyrus didn't like it when people touched his horn. But it didn't -hurt- him, he just didn't like it. It was his horn, his one bit of golden shinyness, not theirs. But oh well. He was better than wussy blue boy, and that meant wussy blue boy was allowed to be wussy.

GLancing back to the disc, he gestured to it, then looked up at Lex, flashing a grin. "Pfffgob ki isssc. Sss na nee isssc."

Azurai
Lex raised his baby brow again up at the gray thing, then snatched a cran and scribbled something that...sort of resembled an X...Then grinned. He thought it made it better. He eyed Lyrus' horn for a moment, then took the crayon and jammed it down onto the horn, grinning proudly. He then handed him back the disk with a smirk.

"Buffga."

Moofuls
"Exzzz?" Lyrus raised a brow, then shrugged. Fine, if he wanted to be X instead of Pffgov, then good for him. Lyrus didn't blame him, actually. Any good mood immediately vanished when a crayon was rudely shoved onto his horn. Lyrus stared, open-mouthed, at Lex, completely shocked at what had just happened. Finally snapping out of it, he snarled and snatched the crayon off, snapping it clean in half and reaching forward to pull the glass disc away from Lex. "Nah Sss owrn! Nah! Thoop ded!"

Azurai
Lex cackled devilishly, and picked up a red crayon, tossing it at Lyrus. Pfffft, this guy was just as sensitive about his horn as Lex was about the jewel. All these people were stiff. He bit Tifa's finger, and she flipped out. Weirdo. ((He was doing shtick! Hummuna hummuna hummuna! xd )) He wore the same satisfied smirk as he stared back at Lyrus, and shrugged casually.

"Rugga," he said, and with a little effort, stood up, grabbing a crayon. He examined the table and tried to decide if it was scribble-worthy. He looked at Lyrus. "Abgit?" he said, pointing to the crayons as if indicating that Lyrus should join him.

Moofuls
((xDDDDD))

Ohhh, Lyrus was starting to really hate this guy. He climbed to his feet and stumbled over to the table, snatching the new crayon from Lex and tossing it on the ground. He scowled, then just set his hands on Lex's shoulders and shoved. "Thoop ded. Sss owrn! Sss ayuns!"

Azurai
Lex glared down at the hand on his shoulder, and took a step back as he was shoved. This...gray thing had it's grubby paws on him?!? It was bad enough that he poked him in the forehead, which he did not like, and now he was shoving him. Lex glared, eyes narrowed. "Thoop dub," he said, and shoved Lyrus back in the chest, stepping forward. Alright, now this baby meant business. ((Wow... xd )) If he had any rings on, he'd be taking them off right now.

Moofuls
Lyrus stumbled backwards with the shove, barely managing to keep his footing. Straightening up, he grabbed hold of Lex's arm for support, then thwapped him smack on the crystal with his free hand. Ha! See how the blue-haired twerp like that. Dumb little worm.

Azurai
Lex flinched again as he hit the jewel, fuming as he took a couple steps back. That was IT - NO ONE hit him in the forehead, and almost no one even tapped his forehead. But this kid thought he could get away with it? No way. "Nah touche!" he said, shoving Lyrus' chest with both hands, for he was pissed off at this gray thing now. He considered jamming another crayon on the horn, and maybe one down this kid's throat, too...

Y'know, for good measure.

Moofuls
Again Lyrus stumbled backwards, but this time he laughed, grinning toothily. Ha, this sparkly twerp wasn't so cocky anymore! Lyrus had the upper hand, and intended to keep it that way. Still snickering, he poked Lex's chest, then turned and stumbled a few feet away, dropping back down and reaching for the glass disc. Ha. He won.

Azurai
Lex stared down disdainfully at his opponent. THAT was IT? A little poke and it was done? Rather disgruntled, Lex grumbled something in baby-speech, considering sticking another crayon. Might get this thingy's attention. He was in the right mind to give him a swift kick to the tush right now, but instead a red crayon caught his eye. Grinning, he grabbed it and walked towards the couch, and without hesitation, began to dig the red wax into the cushions, hopefully so that it wouldn't come out. This house was weird. He didn't quite know why he was here anyways...

Moofuls
Lyrus did his best to pretend that he was completely uninterested in Lex's destruction of the couch. In reality, he was surprised at the kid's bravery and, reluctantly, respectful. Pity the sparkly blue boy was such a....stupid head. (Lyrus suddenly wished he knew more curses.) They would probably get along well otherwise. Great minds think alike and all that.

Azurai
Lex soon grew bored of ruining the couch, and instead climbed his way up onto it with a little effort. He glanced at the table and leaned over the side of the couch, now dulling his crayon point on the wood, making sure it dug in. He frowned, realizing that the crayon probably wouldn't stay in...

"Avvbav?" Lex said, turning back to the gray thing and holding out his hand for the disc. He planned to make a few dents in this table...y'know, mark his territory.

Moofuls
Absolutely not! Lyrus frowned and clutched the glass disc to him, sticking his tongue out at Lex. That scrawny blue thing thought he could push him around--even though Lyrus had won--and then ask for Lyrus stuff!? Hah, NOT. "Daablurfummm..."

Azurai
Lex snorted and crossed his eyes for retaliation, then turned back to the table. Edging back over to the couch, he held his feet over the table, and raising them high, banged them down several times on the table, shrieking with cackles. "Brak," he said with evil glee, kicking the table some more. It was quite fun. He glanced over at the gray thing. It didn't know what it was missing.

Moofuls
Lyrus was beginning to think he was better off just ignoring this little pest. With the first thump of Lex' foot on the table, Lyrus KNEW he was better off ignoring the boy. But now he couldn't. Lyrus hated noise more than anything. He had hated Lex enough before, and with the addition of the noise... Oh, Lyrus wasn't happy.

Snarling under his breath, he quickly searched the area and found someone's shoes dumped beside the sofa. Picking one up, he held it in both hands and tossed it with all his might at Lex's head. That would teach him. "Kyyyt!"

Azurai
Lex swatted at it and fell backwards on the couch, watching as the shoe flew over him. Oh, so he wanted to play rough, huh? Lex grabbed a pillow and flung it frisbee-like at Lyrus, grinning wickedly. He eyed the thrown shoe and picked it up and put it on the couch, saving it.

"Diiin," he cackled.

The rest seems to be lost.

Lex, Lyrus, and Rai
:Off to the circus!:

Moofuls
Quote:
Lyrus: Affinity/Aversion Quest!

It is time for Lyrus to gain his first affinity or aversion! However, in order for it to awaken, he must be taken to a circus for the day. There is one currently being held in the town over, and all expenses associated with the trip shall be paid for by Aileen Shiroko.

Looking completely confused and altogether out of place, Moo blinked down at the tiny slip of paper, then back up to the spot on the door she had found it. Paper, door, paper, door. Finally stepping back, she closed the door and turned for the kitchen with a whirl of her 17th century gown, carefully folding the paper as she walked. "Witch man? Oh, what was your name... Isto? I''ve found a note!" She stepped into the kitchen positively beaming with pride, and daintily handed the tiny note to the mohawked SM. "Which one''s Lyrus again?"

Isto didn''t bother to grace her with a reply. With Moo as she was now, she probably wouldn''t have listened anyway. Instead, he straightened up in his chair and unfolded the paper, blinking twice to clear his sleep-deprived eyes before skimming through it. Crap. Sighing, Isto reluctantly climbed to his feet and edged around his ''mother'' towards the counter to fix himself a cup of coffee. Maybe that would help. "Did you find any money with this, M-" he paused at a glare from the woman, rolling his eyes and correcting himself. "Saoni?"

"Money, money... I''ll check again," she cheerfuly announced and bustled off towards the front door.

Rolling his eyes, Isto poured himself a mug of coffee. Really, this was getting ridiculous...

Azurai
Rai, fortunately, knocked on the door at just that moment. After no response, she called, "Helloooo?" at the door, expecting it perhaps to suddenly develop lips and greet her back. Lex, meanwhile, was standing by her, forced into a blue shirt and dark blue pants and little mini-chucks, glaring sourly at the door. She was gripping his hand. Ew. Over-protective lady thing. Why where they here anyways?

He spotted a daisy and immediately yanked down on her hand, tearing away and diving at the flower. Azurai sighed, knowing she would have to convince Tifa to do his laundry again that night. What a pleasant thought.

Moofuls
The door swung open even as Rai's 'hello' was fading, and Moo appeared in the open space looking as confused as ever. She blinekd curiously at this familiar-yet-not-so-familiar person, and finally remembered her mission and stepped aside, gesturing Rai and Lex inside and towards the kitchen. "The witch will know you. Hurry up, hurry up, I haven't got time to chat. I have to find the money." She smiled.

Azurai
"...Money? Wait, what witch? Since when do you have a witch?" she said, following where Moo gestured warily, glancing back over her shoulder. "And what are you wearing...?" She stopped. "OHcrapLex," she said, and ran back out the door, scooping him out of the bushes and stepping back through the door. She blinked at Moo.

"Um...where's Isto?"

Moofuls
Nodding absently, Moo stepped past them and out the door, quickly surveying the immediate area around it and, when that turned up clear, hefting her flowing skirts and trotting down the steps to check the grass. With Rai's continued questions, she sighed heavily and gestured once more in the general direction of the kitchen. "You know, the witch man. You just said it...Isto, aye? Yes, him. He's in the kitchen. Shoo shoo, he'll know you. I certainly haven't the faintest..." She paused and straightened up, sighing softly. "That's been happening quite often lately..."

...

"Oh well!" And off again with the search.

Azurai
"Moo...?" she murmured, glancing worriedly after her flowing skirt. Rai placed Lex back on the ground and studied Moo for a moment as she left. What an odd get-up...Isto might know. But why did she call him witch-man? Isto certainly didn't know any magic, and he was certainly male. Rai shook her head and took off her glasses, breathing on them and wiping them on the hem of her kelt. She glanced up and saw Lex glaring up at her from the ground.

"Oh, right," she said, and headed towards the kitchen. "Istoooo?" she called.

Moofuls
Out on the lawn, Moo grimaced and chose to ignore Rai's questioning voice. That 'Moo' title again! Who was Moo? And why would someone call themselves the sound a cow made? Really, this place was so very confusing... but at least Pod was still here. Pod and that witch man.. They were nice enough.

Isto was half way through his mug of coffee when he heard Rai and peeked through the door towards the entrance hall. Upon recognizing her, he grinned faintly and gestured for her to join him before reurning to the table and taking a seat, setting his mug down with a yawn. "Hey Rai, good to see you again... How've you been lately?"

Azurai
"Um, fine," Rai murmured half to herself, sitting Lex down on her lap as she sat down across from Isto. "But what''s up with Moo? She''s acting, um...crazy," she said, adjusting her slipping glasses while struggling to sit Lex still in her lap with one hand.

"Grr!" he groaned as he struggled against her hand. She sighed, glancing helplessly at Isto.

"Do you mind if he explores? Little demon won''t sit still anymore," she said, nearly falling off her chair in an attempt to keep him in her lap.

Moofuls
"She''s perfectly sane," Isto assured her, then paused and took another sip of coffee. Ahh, how to explain this... Isto had learned a lot the past few days that he would have rather gone without knowing. His own last name, for one. "She had a little accident in the lab, and has a mild case of amnesia... Basically, her mind''s gone back to where it was before she came here. She doesn''t remember anyone or anything from after then, and only trusts me because Pod assured her that I''m a good witch." Again he paused, chuckling softly, then added, "And she thinks I''m a witch because I''m gay and have a mohawk and metal arm."

And that was that. Glancing down to Lex, he quirked a brow and nodded, gesturing in the general direction of the living room. "Moo''s shorties are hanging around in there, I think. He''ll find someone to play with." There was a wide selection to choose from, after all.

Azurai
Azurai released Lex from her grip, where he jumped from her lap and landed, racing towards the living room. But he skidded to a halt quickly next to Isto, staring wide-eyed at his arm. His mouth dropped open in amazement.

"Lex!" Rai hissed, glaring menacingly. She pointed a finger towards the living room, and Lex ran away to the living room, fearing the wrath of his mother. She brushed a lock of azure hair back behind her ear. "Sorry. He doesn't know how rude that is," she said with a dry chuckle. "Anyways, what do you mean, 'before she came here'?"

Moofuls
Isto was far too used to people staring to take any offense. Besides, little kids stared. It was what they did. It only annoyed him when adults stared and then pretended not to be. He chuckled softly as the boy ran off and waved away Rai's apology, in far too good a mood to be upset by something so small. Coffee was really helping. Mmm. "Moo being like this has cleared up a lot of things about who she is... For one, I know her name now. Saoni Karrn. Her family owned this House during the 17th century. Or, rather, the castle that used to stand here.."

He glanced almost curiously around the kitchen, then back to Rai with a grin. "She accidently came forward a while back and 'inherited' this house and the surrounding area from someone who was really some lots-of-greats nephew. Gradually came to learn everything and settled down to be a 'normal' person. And now...well, she doesn't remember any of that. I've learned most of it from Pod. I'm still not sure how he knows her..."

Azurai
"Pod..." she repeated, studying the tablecloth as she thought. Rai grimaced. Without Moo-...Saoni to run the house, Isto must've been having a hard time. Poor guy. She thought she had it rough...Isto even had a baby on the way and he had to spend time with someone who was settled into a 17th century identity.

"How you holding up?" she asked, snapping out of her trance. "Isn't there anyone else who can run the house? I mean, I thought Slush was, uh, pregnant?" She laughed nervously. She wasn't sure what she could call it...pregnant worked. "It seems like a lot of work when you've already got stuff going on at home," Rai said, absently eyeing his coffee.

Moofuls
"I haven't slept in," he paused, counting quickly on his fingers, and just as quickly giving up. "Umm...much longer than I should go without, except for the occasional quick naps when I can sneak them. But it's not all Moo," he quickly added, almost as if he needed to reassure himself. "I've been working, and Cody and L'aven are here, and Slush is busy with the GMFC egg, and, well, it's just so much..." His smile faded somewhat, but he then gestured to his coffee mug, cracking a grin. "I'm coping." Ahaha, lie.

"And before you tell me I'm doing to much, you're right, but it's not like I can change that. Sao-Moo kicked Banda out as soon as she snapped. I haven't seen Kama or Scion for days, Jack's off dealing with the Wilds... There's no one else to watch the shorties, you know? And I don't need a lot of sleep.. So it works, really. Not like we have much choice." And then there was the Pod guy, but to be honest...Well, Isto didn't trust him with the family.

Azurai
Rai snorted as he guessed exactly what she was going to say, however she listened with a quirked brow. So the Jivvins were off on their own, the nice one was gone, and all the babies were stuck with poor Isto. A frown creased her brow as he finished.

"Well, you should've called me, silly!" she said, and stopped. Since when do I say silly...? she thought. It must've been she was curbing the insults around Lex. She shuddered briefly, and met Isto's eyes again. "I'd be happy to take one or some of the kids out somewhere for a while, give you a chance to take a break. After all, you can't hold up on all work and no play forever. You go crazy," she said with a grin, immediately thinking of the Shining. Surprisingly she loved that movie. Weird... "I could even do it today, if you need it," she added, not wanting to back out if he asked her anything. She was always happy to help with the Moo-Saoni household.

Moofuls
"I...hadn't thought of that," he admitted, blinking. He hesitated, then nodded slightly, staring past her as if he had completely forgotten she was there. "That...would really, really help. Actually," and here he snapped back to reality, blinking hopefully at Rai. "Lyrus just got one of his quest things. Normally Banda would bring him, but Banda's missing... Could you take him? It's just to the circus, I'm sure your shorty'd have fun too.." Just having Lyrus out of the house would make things so much easier... Moo's other shorties got along wonderfully, and they were distracting Cody, so maybe Isto could sneak in another hour or so of sleep...

Azurai
Rai beamed. "Sure! I'd love to get Lex some social contact. God, the little thing would sit in his room dialing a radio all day if he could, anti-social little devil," she said, chuckling and shaking her head. "But I'd love to! I'm not much for clowns, but I'm sure Lex will be. Maybe it'll put him out of his permanently grumpy mood, too." She thought it over for a moment.

"Yeah, it'll work. Should I take him now, or wait 'til later?" she asked. She assumed now, but she didn't want to swoop in and scoop up Moo's kid when she wasn't supposed to...whatever.

Moofuls
Isto sighed in relief and sunk back in his chair, absently helping himself to anothr long sip of coffee before replying. "You've no idea how much of a help this'll be. Take him whenever, bring hi back whenever... We're not going anywhere today. Moo's calmed down a bit, so I'm going to try and sneak in a nap."

He cracked a smiled, then blinked and climbed to his feet, starting for the front door. "There was supposed to be some money.. the note said the trip would be paid for, you see. Moo's looking for it now. Lemme check.."

Azurai
Rai held up her hands. "No need to go searching for it. I can pay for it, no problem," she said, waving away the offer of money, even if it had been supplied for the quest. "You just go ahead and rest, okay? Don't do anything for like, the next 10 hours...or until I get back. Whichever comes first," she said with a grin, saluting him quickly and traipsing off towards the living room, where she assumed Lex would be making...er, friends. Yes, friends.

Oh dear God, that little boy was a walking disaster zone. How had she raised something so bitter and cold? Well, his element was ice...he was bound to be a little...frigid. Da-dum tish! Rai chuckled to herself. Great, now she was joking herself...she was loonier than Moo...

Moofuls
Isto began to protest, but gave up almost immediately and merely replied with a quiet 'thanks', then headed outside to explain the situation to Moo before heading upstairs for a nap.

In the living room, Moo's shorties were doing their best to keep themselves--and Cody--amused, knowing all too well just how exhausted Isto was. Jaxom had taken command of the situation and was, at present, sitting in the middle of the room entertaining Lex, Coen and Cody with his rather annoyed looking kitten, Atear. Adroi was stretched out by a window napping, and Lyrus.. Well, Lyrus was curled up on one end of the couch, glaring daggers at the group on the floor and hardly bothering to look up when Rai arrived. Ahh, such a happy bunch.

Azurai
Lex was indeed amused with Jax and Atear, which was unusual - he generally just enjoyed company other than that blue-haired thing that called him her son and ordered him around. Yuk. What was that thing? She was always being so...protective. She sucked. Badly. Oh God no, she was here again...hadn't she left? And she was coming towards him...AHH! Bad blue thing! Back! Back I say!!

"Lex, don't spit, y'camel," Rai growled as she scooped the kid up into her arms as soon as she saw him about to make a break for it and thus elude her by ducking under or breaking whatever was in his path. He wriggled to get out of her grip. "Oh please, you're not getting away," she chuckled as Lex growled at her from behind her arm which he was now gnawing on. She quirked a brow, but decided not to fuss. A little bruise didn't hurt.

"You!" Rai said, pointing a finger across at Lyrus. "C'mon, up, we're going," she said in a no-nonsense tone that Lex clearly recognized...it was very often that he found himself ignoring it. Oh, how he loathed this blue-haired thing. She was so...bossy. Ugh.

Moofuls
Jaxom was good like that. Shortlings were his minions, he had to know how to make them behave. And then Atear the talking kitten tended to captivate them... Yes, it was good.

Lyrus snapped from his daze with Rai's 'order', staring in disbelief over at the woman. She was bossing him around?! The crazy woman with the sparkly brat!? The idea was laughable. Not that Lyrus actually laughed. Instead, he slid off the couch and glared over at her from his position across the room, folding his arms across his chest. "Says who? And going where? I don't even know you! I can't just leave!"

Azurai
"Says me, and you can and will," she said, putting Lex down by her side but still gripping his hand so he couldn't run away like he obviously wanted to do. "We're going to the Circus. C'mon, clowns, popcorn, it'll be fun," she said. Rai quickly glanced over at the little group of shorties over on the rug, and grinned at Jax. Why couldn't she have one that could amuse everyone like that? That would calm things down. Oh well.

"And you've got three seconds to come with me and leave Isto to get some rest before I come over there and get you myself. And it's much better for your image if you come willingly." Rai smiled sweetly. Lex at her side rolled his eyes, though she took no notice. He'd eventually roll them so much he'd need new ones was her theory, however far-out and derranged it was.

Moofuls
Lyrus considered a snappy reply, but soon decided against it, looking thoughtful. He had never even heard of a circus, or of a clown, for that matter. But popcorn was good, and it was somewhere to go that everyone else didn't get to. That alone reserved gloating rights for later. Nodding haughtily, he strode past Rai out of the living room and towards the door. "Let's go, then. Hurry up."

Azurai
Rai chuckled dryly and stepped in front of the door, bending down to talk to him to get the full effect. "I'd prefer that you not use that tone," she said, smiling and nodding. With that, she straightened up and opened the door, gesturing a hand towards the walkway. "After you two. See ya later, Isto!" she called back into the house, nudging Lex out the door and letting Lyrus follow on his own. Rai would need to give him a little freedom, but show him who was boss. That kid needed a good kick in the pants, though, and she was aching to give him it.

Not her child, though. She'd let Moo do the pants-kicking when she stopped being Saoni and started being her lover again. Oh well. She could at least keep him in line for the afternoon. Then maybe if she would come to babysit later on he'd show her a little respect. With all this "wonderful" parenting she was doing, she was wondering why Lex had turned out the way he had. Odd...

Moofuls
"So?" Lyrus snapped back, quirking a brow. He would use whatever tone he wanted, thank you very much. This woman couldn't do a thing to him. She wasn't his 'mom'. Or his guardian or whatever Moo was. Not that Moo ever did anything to him either. Isto was pretty scary sometimes, though... but Isto was AWESOME so it was okay. This crazy woman, however, was most certainly not Isto.

The toddler was silent throughout the walk back to the edge of the forest, and even after during the ride to the circus, answering all of Rai's statements with short, snapped one-word sentances. But then, out the window, he saw first one enormous, colorful circus tent, then another, then something huge and gray with the LONGEST nose he had ever seen and--WOW, this was actually going to be cool! "This is it, right? Can we go in now? Hurry up and park!"

Azurai
Rai chuckled. It was amazing how circuses could bring out the good in evil, little children. She glanced around. "Soon as I find a space..." she murmured have to herself, and spotted one, pulling in. She hopped out, opening the doors for both Lex and Lyrus, who hadn't said a word to one another the whole ride. Not unusual for two bad-tempered pompous little jerks, but, well, what can you do, huh?

"Alright, here's the deal," Rai said, pulling Lyrus and Lex over behind the car, folding her arms and staring down at the both of them. "It is very easy to get lost in here, so I do not want either of you wandering off. If one of you does, I will personally find you and kick the stuffing out of you. That counts for you too, Lyrus, I have your mother's and Isto's permish. You guys will stick with me. If you want something, just ask. Nicely," she said, eyeing Lex who once again rolled his eyes. She smiled. "Well, now that we understand eachother...let's go!" she said, brightening up as if she had never stared down at them and patronizingly set down strict ground rules. It was a circus, so she would be looser than she said, and probably be suckered into buying them a million things they didn't need, but that was what circuses were for. That and clowns. She had forgotten how she disliked clowns.

For the kids, right, this was for the kids.

Moofuls
Bwahaha, they were here. Lyrus was about to run off for the tent when Rai dragged him back behind the car. He glowered up at the woman as she laid down the rules, but didn't argue. There was no point in arguing when he could just break them without it. Instead he smiled far too innocently and simply nodded in reply, walking with her for the tent and utterly ignoring Lex. The little buttmunch didn't deserve to be acknowledged.

Lyrus was unusually silent while Azurai paid for their admission, and even walked patiently beside her while they found their seats. But all the while his eyes wandered the tent and crowd for any source of escape, or at least some kind of distraction. This circus thing looked to be pretty cool thus far, but it'd be even MORE awesome if he could go explore on his own without the crazy and sparkly ones.

Azurai
Rai had her eye on the little grey one Lyrus. Lex was moody and usually wouldn't cooperate, but once he knew that disobedience=no cookies, most of the time he listened. Ocassionally he had fun, but he never let it show, lest Rai see that she was right. Crazy blue-haired lady. Who did she think she was? She was crazy. He glanced over at Lyrus, then looked back out at the circus. Why did the gray thing have to come along? He was always so...bratty. It even made Lex sick.

"I've got my eye on you, shorty," she said, giving Lyrus the eagle eye. Normally she would watch Lex carefully but eventually he'd just sit there and get so caught up in the show that he'd be too distracted to escape. But Lyrus wasn't her kid. If she lost him...not only would Moo never forgive her, but she'd never forgive herself. So she was not gonna look up from that little gray thing. Not once.

Moofuls
Lyrus couldn't have cared less, and promptly stuck his tongue out in reply, pulling a face at Rai. However, he was quickly distracted as lights lit up on the center ring, and any thoughts of 'escape' quickly left his mind as the ringmaster began to speak.

It was easily one of the coolest things Lyrus had ever been to in his life. There were acrobats, and jugglers, and huge animals he hadn't even heard of doing tricks. And there was a guy who breathed fire, and another who almost flew! And clowns who made Rai scream, and trapeze artists, and a lion tamer, and..and... It was SO cool!

Lyrus was completely captivated, eyes wide as he watched the proceedings, clapping and cheering at all the appropriate times, gasping in amazement witht he rest of the crowd with each new feat. With the final bow, he actually stood up on his seat to cheer, clapping frantically and already yelling about his favorite parts to Rai, who probably wasn't listening anyway.

The toddler was more than a bit upset when it ended, but the memories satisfied him enough that he didn't complain. On the way out, he managed to talk Rai into a souvenier--a small glass elephant, balanced on a stand much too small for it, purchased from the makeshift gift shop outside of the main tent.

The ride home was uneventful, and Isto was still asleep when they arrived. Lyrus immediately darted inside to brag to his brothers about the trip, and Jax was the one to thank Azurai and promise to watch out for the shorty until Isto woke up. After she had gone, he returned to the living room and listened just as eagerly as Adroi, Coen, and Cody while Lyrus recounted the 'adventure'--adding in a few bits of his own, just to make things more interesting, of course. Certainly a day he would remember for some time.

razz D with Kilah:

Lex and Kilah
Noyama
"Hmm. I guess this place looks familiar..." Nothing wrong with lying to yourself, right? Kilah eyed the mansion for a second before sighing heavily and scratching her head cluelessly. This place didn't look a bit familiar.

Come to think of it, nothing did. It was the weirdest thing. Even if someone forgot everything, you think they'd recognize something. "Well, maybe I'll recognize a someone, then..."

That thought in mind, the child carefully made her way to the mansions door. Hesitantly she pushed it open, peering inside curiously. "Hello? Anyone here?"

Azurai
"GRR!" came a little voice from inside, followed by a loud clank. The little blue haired boy was sitting in the middle of the front hall, surrounded by miniature metal instruments. In front of him was a tiny motor car, though it was hardly recognizable - it was completely in pieces. Lex had just thrown a wrench against the wall, his lip curled back in disgust. His blue shirt was covered in dirt and unidentifiable black liquid from the car. He had apparently been tackling a particularly difficult part. He glared down at the car and mumbled incomprehensibly at it.

Lex's blue eyes flew towards the light and he squinted as it shafted into the dark hall. His pale skin was paler than usual. He didn't seem to mind though. He peered at her and quirked a brown. "Keelah...?" he said, grabbing his tiny wrench back.

Noyama
It took the poor girl a minute, but when she realized he was adressing her she quickly nodded her head. "Oh! You mean me? That's right. I'm Akilah." Was she talking to a baby? How silly! This one sure seemed violent, too. He knew her name, though, so they had to know each other somehow.

"I...guess you know me then." Now, a better question: friends or enemies? It seemed ridiculous she'd have enemies. She couldn't feel an ounce of hate for anyone! Maybe she just hadn't run into the right people since her memory went away...

Her eyes flickered to the gem on his forehead. It was...pretty. She really didn't know why, but any jewel or gem she'd seen had immediately attracted her interest. Maybe she collected them?

Smiling brightly, something that actually looked somewhat disturbing on her, she moved to the baby and kneeled down beside him. "That gem on your forehead is very pretty."

Azurai
Lex stared over at Akilah, his eyes flicking up and down her. What was with her? Kilah had always been the one who hated flowers and was evil and awesome...but now she was being nice? And she was looking at his gem like it was...pretty? He couldn''t understand the words she was saying, but her obvious interest in him gave it away. Something was not right with it. He looked back down at the motorcar and shrugged it off. As long as she didn''t touch the gem, or him, in fact, it didn''t matter that much to him. He focused back on the car, tightening a small bolt with the wrench, grunting with the effort. When it was secure, he looked back up at her.

"Lex," he said, gesturing the wrench towards himself. He pointed it up to the gem and tapped it twice. "No," he said. He didn''t like people touching it...or staring at it too much for that matter. Yes, it was bright. Yes, it was fun to look at. But it was like his finger or something...you don''t touch it and observe it. He pointed the wrench at her. "What...differ?" he said, trying to ask what was different, or really what was wrong with Kilah. She was so...strange.

Noyama
There was silence, and then the most horrible sound one would ever hear. Probably only one would literally hear it. Up until then it was unheard of, even now it was a rarity.

Kilah giggling.

"You're very cute!" Aw, he was adorable. Seems he didn't like anyone staring at that gem of his. Lex? Of the few names mentioned to her, she couldn't recall that being one, but he still seemed to know her. "Lex, alright. I'm Akilah, but I guess you know that. Uh...I guess people call me Aki for short?"

Shrugging, she sighed lightly and lifted a hand to fiddle with her hat. That was another thing very, very wrong. She was still wearing the hat, but she was wearing it the right way. "Yes, I'm afraid something is different. See, I can't remember anything..." No harm, no foul. He was only a baby, he probably couldn't even understand.

Azurai
Lex winced at the sound, shrinking away from her until it stopped. He stared at her blankly. What was wrong with her. She was all...happy? What was wrong with her? And what did she mean by "remember"? What the blazes did that mean? Lex shook his head. Something was seriously wrong with Akilah. He looked up at "Aki." His brow raised as high as it possibly could as he stared at her in disbelief. She was "Kilah," not "Aki." Okay, that was it, she was messed up. Maybe someone had hit her in the head and she'd gone funny. And did she call him cute?!?!?!?!!! She could be useful though, he thought, surveying the parts spread out in front of him. He handed the wrench to her

"Hold," he asked, though it wasn't a very questioning tone. Lex wasn't used to please and thank you. With the other hand he grabbed two batteries and put them in their slots, picking up two more screws and fixing them into place, grabbing a different wrench. He looked over at Kilah. "Hat?" he said, pointing to it.

Noyama
Batteries?!

She hadn't realized it until now, but this baby was not...playing with baby stuff! Didn't they use rattles and things like that? Wrenches certainly weren't safe! And weren't batteries posionous somehow? "You really shouldn't play with these things!"

Without hesitation, she pulled her hat off and didn't seem at all irratated by the hair that fell in her face. Usually, it would've been immediatly brushed back at the very least, even when she couldn't see. Handing said hat to the baby, she set the wrench down and sighed. "You could hurt yourself playing with these things! You must have bad examples or something. Maybe those Lyrus and Jack people..."

Her sister had spoken of them. They sounded bad.

Azurai
Lex snorted, taking the hat and looking at it. Kilah would never give up her hat! Not even if he asked her extraodinarily nicely...which he wouldn't do, but just the thought of it! He shrugged and gathered a couple of his tools, putting it in the hat so that he could keep them in one place. He picked the wrench back up from where he had set it down, screwing in the a few bolts. He grinned and took a green plastic piece, putting it on top. He grabbed some black electrical tape and a few screws, putting them in place and tightening them, then attaching the green parts with thin strips of electrical tape. He set it down, now an obvious motorcar. He grabbed a small black box torn open, several screws lying around it. He scooted it towards him, taking two more batteries and putting them in, replacing a plastic cover and screwing it in. He tightened a couple other screws and grinned.

"Done!" he said, and picked up the black box, which now revealed itself to be the remote control. He dumped the tools out of Kilah's hat into his lap, dropping the wrench in his lap. He gave the hat back to her, looking at her funny. He growled. "Lyrus..." he repeated, and made his hands into a fist, smashing it down on the wood floor. "No," he said, picking up the remote control and testing the motorcar. It worked! He cackled with delight.

Noyama
"Wow..." There was no other word for it. What a smart baby! It was amazing! "You're smart, too, huh? Bet you're gonna be a heartbreaker when you're older." It wasn't like Kilah to make jokes, much less laugh at them when she did. Normal Kilah would've told him he'd probably end up a pimp and be damn proud of it.

Retrieving her hat, she returned it to her head (albiet still facing the proper direction), watching him in amusement. Aw, he was so cute! She wouldn't say it out loud again however, it seemed to upset him. So did the mention of Lyrus.

Lyrus...

It was one of only two names she'd felt something with. Some faint memory, very faint. Something about him, and the other girl, Mignon was it? Just something...

Maybe they were enemies? Lyrus did sound awful mean.

"So...you don't like Lyrus?"

Azurai
Lex shook his head vigorously at the mention of the name. He didn't even like Lyrus. He despised Lyrus. He may have respected him for his expert crayon throwing and his like of loud noises. Lyrus was also evil, which Lex admired in spite of himself. "No," he repeated, making the motorcar do little circles. He was quite proud of his fixing the motorcar. Pretty soon he'd be bored of it, though, and he would go to work on something else. The crazy blue-haired lady wouldn't let him near the broken toaster yet, but he'd fix it...the thing drove him nuts.

"You likes Lyrus," Lex said, accidentally ramming the little car into the wall, he backed it up and turned it around, speeding it towards Kilah and stopping, then circling. He grinned, quite amused with the little car. It seemed to be working perfectly, too...if not, better?

Noyama
"I see..." The world was a very, very odd place. Something she'd discovered in the past few hours...the only ones she could remember. That weird, loud lady had practically shoved her out of the house and demanded she go see her 'friends', who's name Kilah could barely catch she was speaking so quickly.

Then she arrived here only to be informed by a baby? Odd, very odd. It didn't make sense, either. This 'Lex' didn't like Lyrus, but she did? He seemed to like, so did that mean she saw them both as friends? It didn't seem possible to have to friends who didn't like each other. Hm... "So...why don't you like him?" Again, it felt awkward speaking like this to a baby, but company was company...

Azurai
Lex growled putting down the control. "Lyrus..." he repeated, with another grunt. He made a little imitation of Lyrus' voice ((which didn't come out in words, but mumbo-jumbo in a high-pitched voice)) and then touched the crystal on his head. Then he picked up one of the screwdrivers and threw it at himself, then folded his arms, and with another weird imitation, went back to playing with his motorcar. He hated that Lyrus.

Oh, how he hated him. But he was good at crayon throwing...

...

...Still hated him. ((Short, 'cause I hafta go xd ))

Noyama
"Oh..."

So...Lyrus had thrown things at him? That was basically all she could get from the motions offered to her. One thing she was positive about, and that was, if Lyrus HAD thrown something at Lex, he was no friend of hers!

Why would she be friends with someone who threw things at a baby?! How horrible! Unless he was a baby too, but she'd heard that wasn't the case. Did SHE throw things at babies?

If she was friends with ones who did, the answer was most likely 'yes'. If she was right, she didn't need her memory back anyway. What a horrible girl she must be! "Uh, there's someone here with you, right?"

Azurai
As if to answer her question, Tifa ((Click click)) came traipsing into the front hall. "LEEEEEEX!" she shouted, before she looked down and saw them on the floor. She blinked as Lex glared up at her. "Oh, sorry. I didn't know we had company," the Jivviness said, looking Akilah up and down several times. Well, she looked friendly. "I was just wondering where you were...Oh, for heaven's sake, not the motorcar again! Lex, I'm telling you, it's unfixa-"

As if he understood her, Lex made the car do a circle and ran it into her foot. Tifa frowned.

"Okay, you fixed it," she muttered, looking worriedly down at the tools next to him. "I'm gonna go to the store and get food," she said, more to Kilah then to Lex. "Be back soon," she said, and grabbed her v-neck green fleece, almost jogging out the door. No one was in that big of a rush to go to the store. Lex shook his head and kept playing.

"Tifa," he said, nodding towards the door.

Noyama
Back soon, hm? Soon enough, she hoped. This baby seemed pretty independent for his age. Odd, but... "Well, I should go." Rising to her feet, she patted Lex on the head, grinned, and pulled back before he could...bite her or something.

Crazy kids.

"See you, Lex." That said, the chicken Sin'aeis left, heading for home.
