Egg
When you recieve your rakken, it will be in the shape of a rather large egg. The longer it's been in the egg, the harder all of the shell appears to get, except for a small spot on the top which seems to get thinner and thinner. When the egg hatches, it is almost like stone, except for that small spot at the top, which is a thin membrane.
Hatchling
After your rakken has technically hatched, it will remain in its egg for a while. You will be unable to see anything but its ears. Rakki are very shy at this stage, and don't emerge until they no longer fit in their egg. They can hear you at this stage, but when they talk it's clumsy and in their own language.
Teen
After they finally emerge from their shell, rakki hit an amazing extreme growth spurt. By the time they'll let you have a good look at them, they look like adolescents or teenagers. They can converse fluently in their own language, and near fluently in English. However, be warned. At this stage in their life, the rakki are, as Maliska put it, "Extremely horny devils." They may attempt to mate at this stage in their life, but the child will not grow past the teen stage, and some do not even grow past hatchling.
Adult
At this stage in life, the rakki are fully independent and no longer need anything from their caretaker. Their hair has finally emerged as real hair, and they look completely like adults. They are entirely fluent in both English and their own language. They can mate at will, and do not mate for life (what do you expect, they're freaking bunnies!). However, once a female has had three litters, any other litters she has may be unstable. The female may die in the birthing process (aka laying eggs), or some of the kits may be stillborn. A rakken litter generally contains one to four kits.
