-Once your kyn has grown into an adult, you must host the image on your own image host and PM me with the new link. If you don't have one, you can easily get one for free at photobucket.com

-Do not Steal!! Anyone caught with a dragon that does not belong to them will be added to the black list and reported to the mods.

-No copying or editting the kyns, or claiming them as something you have drawn! You will be instantly reported to the mods for art theft and added to the blacklist.

-Kyns are only allowed to be used in signatures on Gaia, journal, or pet pages on your personal website. If you plan to put your kyn(s) on something other than something gaia related, I'd appreciate it if you PMed me with a link for approval.

-Do not beg for a custom or regular kyn if there are none available at the time.

-Do not flame, argue with, or harrass players who managed to beat you to a flatsale, or bid higher than you in an auction.

-If you don't have the money for an egg, don't bid/try to buy one. I do not put eggs on hold for those who don't have the correct amount of gold at the time.

-Roleplay is not required to own a kyn.

-No arguing with the owner! What ever I say goes. If you disagree with something I have done or said, please calmly PM me and we can discuss it in a mature fashion.

-If you offer me less gold than what I've set the price for or ask for a kyn when my customs are closed and flatsale is over, expect to be ignored.

-If you are confused about something, or have a question, don't hesitate to ask.

Spellbooks
In order for a kyn to use magic, they must first learn. Spellbooks contain the ancient knowledge used to learn to cast attacks or useful abilities to help a kyn in battle or normal life. Each magic is divided into an element, a spell draws energy from the chosen element in order to work it's magic. It results in an attack or power that looks in appearance similar to the element it draws power from.

Spells of each element are not limited to simple fire blasts or water spraying, kyns create their own spells with their own knowledge. The same attack by a different kyn may look similar, but in fact it is completely different and they may even identify it by another name.

-Learned spells show up as gems in the item box that match the Spellbook's cover.

Spellbook Rules-
-Each kyn may only learn from 3 spellbooks.
-No godmoding or powerplaying spells in RP. Read the Magics Usage in the Roleplay section.
-No all powerful, wipe out civilization, destroy everyone and everything spells.

-A kyn's bond with their human is established at birth, making the kyn a lifetime partner to the human it first sees. They cannot be bought, sold, or traded for another kyn aafter birth due to this bond, one person can however own more than one kyn.

-Kyn are very intelligent, but at the same time they are simple minded. They can understand human speech and even speak the language.

-All kyns have the optional ability to breath fire.

-Kyns hunt any type of herding game, wild or those provided by it's rider/owner. Young kyns not too long out of the shell eat smaller game provided completely by older kyns or owners, until they can hunt on their own. Newborn kyns are completely dependant of their mother's milk or milk provided by owners, unable to have anything else.


Any place that a kyn lives or sleeps is reffered to as it's den. Kyns like to sleep in cavern like areas, large enough to accommodate their size and well beyond for extra comfort. Preffered bedding is sand, smooth rocks/boulders, or the more expensive, gemstones.

Some owners build man-made caverns for their kyns if they cannot find a suitable den in a convenient location. Owners live very close to their kyns, some in fact sleep in the same den as their kyns, having a separate living room somewhere in the cavern so they can always be near their kyn. Others that own multiple kyns or over at least five kyns have a separate living building for humans, that is if they want.


-A human who owns a kyn is reffered to as either it's rider, owner, or trainer.

-The bond between a human and kyn is strong. With this bond a kyn will always know where its rider is, and if they are in danger or not. Kyns are very protective of their riders, and think of themselves as the owners of their humans.

-New hatchlings tend to be jelous of kyns that thier trainer already owns, showing off and trying to push themselves to be better than their rider's first kyn. This jealousy dies down when the kyn matures a bit beyond the hatchling instincts.

-In a situation where a trainer owns more than one kyn, the human's first kyn is reffered to by the others as 'The First', or 'Prince(male)/Princess(female)'. This is simply a respectable title given to the one who happened to be their owner's first kyn. Owning three or more kyns makes up a clan where The First is known as the leader and must be respected/obeyed, of course whatever the rider says, even The First must follow.

-If the amount of kyns that a trainer owns is too much for him/her to handle by themselves, another person(roleplayed by either the same user or someone else) can be hired to help care for the kyns. Usually the person is someone who doesn't own a kyn of their own and is trying to save up in order to buy one.(Users who don't own kyns can still participate in rp as these kyn Assistants, or as kyn Assistants looking for jobs.) Kyns don't mind who it is who cleans their hide so long as it's done. ^^

-Older kyns hunt on their own within a specific territory owned by their trainer, depending on the amount of kyns depends on the size of that land. Owners will usually keep game such as cows, goats, or sheep, on the land for their kyns to hunt if wild game is scarce.

-Younger kyns either hunt smaller game such as rabbits or squirrels for themselves. If they are too young to hunt and no longer accept milk, food is hunted for them by either older kyns, by a kyn assistant or the owner.

-Kyns just out of the shell are large enough for trainers to ride them if they are small, but are not strong enough yet to fly. Adults are known to carry several people at a time, so long as the dragon is wearing some sort of safety harness.


-It's the job of the kyn assistant to do whatever chore their employer assigns them.

-Chores inclue: Bathing Kyns(cleaning those hard to reach places), hunting for the hatchlings and younger kyns(Bows & arrows are the most prefered weapon choice), running errands to the shop for the Rider, oiling a kyn's hide(as a kyn grows the hide streatches and peels/breaks which causes a kyn discomfort), or any other chore that relates to the care and health of a kyn.




Battles of kyn against kyn are not uncommon, in fact it's much like a sport. Some kyns are trained to fight in special arenas(Gigantic buildings with no ceiling and sandy floors), using any tactics or abilities to defeat their opponent.

In a kyn fight, it is not whether you win or loose, but how brilliantly you display your battle skills. With the instinct of battle, a kyn's link with their owner becomes stronger, making the trainer experience the battle as though he/she were the kyn themselves. The kyn and trainer work as one mind, so it's pretty easy for the trainer to give their kyn a command without having to yell it out.

The battle ends only when one of the kyn is unable to fight due to fatigue or injury, making the other kyn the victor, or one of the kyn manages to pin his opponent on the ground, belly up.



Attack Magic- Magics that mainly attack cannot be used freely, and do not hit every time just because they are 'special'. You must use these in the same way that you make your character perform an action upon another character. It is up to the other person you are roleplaying with weather or not the attack hits their character, or they dodge it.

Defensive Magic- Magics that mainly block can be used at anytime(try not to godmode though.) Weather or not the attack thrown at your character actually hits, breaks through the defense, or is sucessfully blocked is up to you.

Healing Magic- Having healing powers does have an advantage sometimes. Though do not over use the ability. A character that has a healing ability may come in any form, and be used in any way, so long as it is not abused else it may turn into godmoding.(An invincible character who can heal at anytime. BAD and not fun for everyone.) If the ability is used to heal a character that is not your own, you must have the other roleplayer's permission before healing them.(Ask oocly or over messaging or whatever means of communication.)




Ferals are wild kyns who usually keep to themselves, but attacks are common if a tame kyn is near or enters their territory. Ferals speak very few words, if any at all. They hate tame kyns mostly due to the fact that they listen to humans. From time to time feral dragons have been known to approach tame dragons of the opposite gender.

How do I get a kyn? - If it's a flatsale, just post the description that's underneath the egg that you want to purchase. Payment of the egg must be done before you recieve it.

Wah!! My egg suddenly disappeared!?/Is a red x! What Happened? - Refresh the page and see if the kyn's image comes back after a moment. It most likely means that your kyn is being updated to the next stage in it's life. :3

Can I loose my kyn? - When you ask to purchase a kyn, If I don't recieve the payment from you within the next week at least, your egg will be returned to the shop to be available for others to buy.

If you have already purchased your kyn and have had it for a while now, you can still loose the kyn if you do something bad enough to get your name on the blacklist. Anyone who owns a kyn that is put on there will loose their privilages of owning a kyn.
