*Gasp* a new thread for the Kirea and a new owner. These guys have been a favorite of mine for a long time. Desdamona, was my very first pet when I started out in the Breedables, so when Vieve offered to hand the shop over to me - I couldn't say no.

The earth shook.
The air was still.
The silence before the storm.

The Kirea stared towards the horizon as the ground below them rumbled. They waited in fear in the shadows of the trees that had sheltered them for so long.
Rocks fell from the mountains, and waves crashed from the ocean.
The Kirea's Existence was ending. For thousands of years they had lived in harmony with nature, and now nature had betrayed them.
It could take their lives, but it could not take their spirits.

Waiting peacefully, they sat watching their awaiting end.
The sun shone brightly, the kirea faced the sky, and all the world began to glow.

As the waves crashed in, and the mountains crumbled, only small stones lay on the sandy beach, waiting to be discovered, and have their spirits set free.

Spirit Stones - These are the stones that lay along the beach, when some are located we try and find them loving owners. To help the Kirea inside find their way out, the owner can come to the Center or main thread and talk to other owners. The first step to their emerging is just being around another creature, and the sound of voices.

Stones right before the Kirea emerge. After a while the stones will start to glitter and things seem to drift up from them, this lets you know that soon you will have a Kirea pup to care for.

Pups! Now you have an adorable little pup of your own to play with! These little guys can be quite rambunctious, but still need their sleep to grow. We encourage new owners to bring their pups to the Center, so that they can meet other pups and other Kirea.

Adult, your pup has grown up and become an adult. Even though they are grown, they still need you to care for them as they go about exploring their new world.

Deity Stage - This is a rumored stage, that only those that search for may attain. As of now no one has under taken it.

1. Be polite, no one likes someone that is being an a**. So don't be one, it could get you gray listed and if it continues and is severe enough, black listed.
2. Don't PM my main account, if you have a problem PM pixel.png.
3. Patience is a virtue, one that I hope you will use.
4. Don't steal the art - you will be automatically blacklisted and a mod will be informed.
5. Don't use L33T speak, if I can't understand what you are saying then I will pretend it was never posted.
6. Don't bump if there is no reason to. Bumpers are allowed when their is an event or sale going on. But they are un needed when there is no event.
7. Follow all of the TOS guidelines well in the shop, if you break them a moderator will be informed.

Q: OMG, this isn't your shop!?!?!
A: Not originally it wasn't but Vieve and Springloaded, decided that they no longer wanted to run the shop and decided to give me a chance at it.

The idea of giving it to Cinderfae was rather spur of the moment, but I had been thinking about giving the Kirea away for a while.

As most of you know, during the summer (July-ish I believe) I lost interest in the thread and it was void of updates and whatnot for a while. So I recreated the lineart, even held a contest so there could be a new stage, and started it up again. During the first flatsale ever in the new thread, Gaia had a massive downage followed by the infamous rollback. Oddly enough, it seems like an omen now. A few months ago I rolled back into the slump of inactivity with the Kirea thread (partially because of a new shop I opened) although I attempted to revive my interest again with the Deity quests*. But I complicated the whole thing far too much and I lost interest in that too...

I dont know how many of you noticed, but a while back (here comes an analogy) Cubi put her Sweet Dreams shop up for sale (Liz knows what I'm talking about) and she said it was because it was her first shop and things started off wrong and she knew she could do better. Thats how I feel too, looking back on it. I explained this to Cinderfae; I overcomplicated things and everything about it just became agonizing and I didnt want to continue.

So I asked Cinderfae if she'd like to take over. Now I could have auctioned off the shop, so it'd go off into the possibly able hands of someone I didnt know well and someone I didnt know I could trust. I felt that Cinderfae was the best person to ask about it because she'd been there right off the bat and knew pretty much everything about the shop as well as I did. That and she owns half of the Kirea. XD

I know this really was sprung on everyone, but I thought it was better that it be left in the capable hands of someone else who'd "continue the legacy" than leave it to be abandoned or permanently haitus-ed.

Q: What is up with the whole RP thing, and having to check into the shop?
A: Kirea are not RP required, but it is asked that you check back into the shop every once in a while to let me know you aren't dead. If you are going away or have some other issues let me know and you will be free not to check in. After two weeks if you don't check in you will get a PM, if you don't check in for two more weeks or PM this account (that is a month in whole). Your Kirea will be taken away from you and found an owner that is willing to care for them.

Q: Give me a Kirea!
A: Please look at the ownership post and see if any are available for flatsale, raffle, or auction.

Q: Why isn't my Kirea growing?
A: Have you been stopping by the shop? The amount of time it takes to grow really depends on you. If you stop by regularly to say hi, your Kirea will grow faster. But if you never stop by your Kirea will stop growing and may be taken away from you.

Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Egg Rolls... this is getting weird.

You're not required to RP your Kirea. But you are required to well.. drop by and show us your alive. The only time that rping is going to be required is if you are participating in an event. Posting during the flatsale doesnt mean that thats the only time you need to post. If you ever want your Kirea to emerge, you're going to have to stop by. We require a minimum of 1 post per stage before your Kirea will grow. After it becomes an adult, atleast a post every 2 to 3 weeks. Otherwise, we will take it away, and given a different home, and you wont get a refund.

Flatsales will be prompt or first come first serve. The reason I will be holding both types is so everyone will have a chance to get a Kirea, some people are just better at prompts then FCFS, and others are better at FCFS.

When your Kirea is tagged you can find it here, please keep in mind that once your Kirea is an adult it will be taken off of my server. So if you want it to show up on the owners list you need to put it on your own server and send me the link.
