Don't you just love the smell of crisp paper bound together as a book with it's glossy paperback cover or the rough hardcover edges? God knows I do. heart But I digress.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good book they've read? It can be any genre but preferably a fantasy book.

OMG I LOVE THAT SMELL!! smile mmmm new books. I LOVE new books, ok I'll stop ranting! sweatdrop um good book, Trickster's Choice, by Tamora Pierce (sp?). its sequel is called Trickster's Queen. I think it's fantasy..well, kinda...they have mages and crow-turned-people. I've only read Trickster's Choice, but it's very good! in my humble opinion..you should check it out! smile *you have a cool wishlist*

Oh yeah, I love that too, the "new book smell". I highly recommend Phantom of the Opera. xd

if it's fantasy you want...ever read the Wheel of TIme by Robert Jordan? very good series...

Oh, I'd love to see it on stage, though. But I'll take a look at the book nonetheless.

I also love that smell. It is my favorite thing to walk into the nearest Barnes and Noble and smell my two absolute favourite smells mixed together: brand new books and coffee. Does anyone else revel in the breaking of a brand-new spine?? It's like ecstasy!! I love that. The sound is awesome. Right?? sweatdrop LOL, j/k

i cant really smell books anymore, but i dislike the part where you first open the book (about novels, not mangas) and the cover flops over and covers the page you're reading

haha, I like the feel of new books!! but I don't like cracking the spine..especially paperbacks..I think they're ugly if they have creases running down it. smile I take extra care not to crease the spine. my friend firmly believes that if it is creased, it'll seem like you;ve actually read it. razz
