To all the friends, customers, bumpers, lurkers, chatters, and anyone else who has visited my shop in the last four years. This is a final farewell to my art shop, Alt-Ink Studio. My friends and I have decided we want to open a pet shop of breedable creatures, and with me being the main artist for the shop, I won't have time to keep up with this shop. I will finish off the last commissions I have lined up here and will take any commissions before June 10th. Welcome to my little commission shoppe. I'm now offering a wide variety of art through different styles, media, and formats. Below, in this bubble, you'll find some general examples of the different media I'm currently offering through commission.

Every drawing that I do will start out with a pencil sketch or doodle. These are used as a guide for when I ink and color the drawing.

My pen and ink work varies from simple line art to complex shading in a manga style. This is my favorite media to work with. The price varies depending on size and complexity of the drawing.

Price: 5,000 to 500,000 gold.

My computer generated art varies from simple airbrushing or watercoloristic renderings to minute detail with dynamic lighting and shading. I also offer coloration of my pen and ink work. Price varies depending on size and complexity of the drawing.

Price: 5,000 to 750,000 gold.

All of my marker drawings include inking in the price. Since marker is a more difficult medium to utilize, I've decided to work with a standard amount of detail for every drawing I do. If you choose marker as the media, please let me know before I do the sketch because I color the drawings on a different paper than my normal drawings.

My colored pencil drawings are full of rich, vibrant color produced by using Prismacolor pencils. I prefer only to work in full detail with my colored pencil drawings. However, due to time constraints and limited supplies, I won't be doing any backgrounds.

Price: 15,000 to 70,000 gold.

What is the difference between a sketch and a doodle?

Sketch - a drawing that I use as the basis for detailed artwork. I spend roughly 1-3 hours on a sketch depending on complexity of figure and amount of detail. If you are intending to purchase artwork, then you will receive a sketch.

Doodle - a quick character drawing not intended for further detail. The doodle is left up to the artist's imagination. Time spent on the drawing will be roughly 15-30 minutes.

The three forms of payment I accept are gold, items, and art trade. I'll accept a combination of those as well. For items, I prefer donation letters, uncommons, and rares. Also, I'm pretty open about art trades. I don't judge a trade on skill, but don't try to pass off a stick figure for one of my more elaborate and time consuming pieces.

When should I pay?
I like to receive a trade for payment between finishing a sketch and inking/coloring the image. This shows that you are committed to the drawing before I become committed to the drawing. Once I've finished the drawing, then you can complete the trade.

These rules are in place to ensure fairness and equality between customers when it comes to the purchase and commission of my artwork. These rules can be amended or added to at any time.

1. First and foremost, please have patience. Drawing art for the wonderful community here on GaiaOnline is only a hobby that I like to do in my free time. I'm also a college student, and a full-time artist and those priorities come before creating art for Gaia.

2. All art produced for the Gaia community by me will be created in either pen and ink or CG.

3. The alteration of my artwork. My artwork cannot be cut, cropped, enlarged, or shrunk to be used in banners, or graphics on or off of GaiaOnline. All images should be used as they are received.

4. The removal of my artist insignia is prohibited. You will see my insignia as follows: "Alt-Ink Studio", a cursive "J" followed by a ".", "Jeni" written in katakana (Japanese script), or my last name "Wehage".

5. All art will remain PG-13 as per GaiaOnline Terms of Service. If you would like something more mature, feel free to send me a private message.

6. I can draw just about anything, but for Gaia commissions, I will only draw avatars and other gaia related items. (This means, no cars, horses, or other non-Gaia things). Some exceptions can be made here and there, however. I will draw your original character so long as its not too complex.
