During ancient times there was rumor of a living treasure hidden upon an island. Several travelers searched for this island. Finally one day a merchant ship managed to find the island when it was damaged by a storm. The crew could hardly believe their eyes, the trees seem to glitter. Upon inspection they found that the light was from a few birds. A very strange race of birds with Gems imbedded into their feathers.
The crew captured several of the birds and poached the rest for their feathers. The species was nearly destroyed. However, A few eggs managed to survive. These eggs were found in a small large dirt nest, buried. It appears that before the parents were captured they realized that they had to hide their babies.
They remained hidden…
Until now.
~Over the course of about a month your bird will grow into an adult :3 When it becomes an adult you are to upload it to your own website. Until then I will handle it :3
~This is a non RP required breedable. You may RP it if you wish but it is not required.
~There are three stages after the egg and a very rare final stage.
Stages:
Egg: remains so for about a week
Baby: remains so for about 2 weeks
Teen: remains so for about a week
Adult: Can breed at this point.
Adult stage: at adult stage your bird has established itself as an adult. It won’t find any more items or change much at this stage. Because of this and for bandwidth reasons I ask you to upload you pet to your own web server. :3
(if you own more than one bird it may make occasional appearances in the younger bird’s certs but the adult bird’s cert will not change.)
At the adult stage your bird can begin breeding with other birds.
The 5th Stage, the elder: No one knows what this stage looks like or how to reach it. Very few birds will ever hit this stage. If your bird reaches this then you will be Pmed with the picture. :3
This stage is not a breedable trait.
<center>Non-Physical Breedable Traits</center>
Finders: finder birds are Kleptos that will steal or find something and play with it. 1 in 10 birds naturally become this. If their parents have this trait then there is a 50% chance they will as well. Two finder birds breeding together have a 80% chance of a Klepto offspring.
Nuts birds: Who said all birds are mentally stable. 1 in 10 birds have the nuts trait. It can manifest itself as a bird who likes to dig holes… walk on the walls… or several other traits. Note, however... it does not always mean that your bird is crazy.. just not one of the usual birds based on personality. If their parents have this trait then there is a 50% chance they will as well.
Two nuts breeding together have an 80% chance of a crazy offspring.
Both the nuts and finder traits: Congrats… you have one messed up bird XD.
homosexual: 1/20 chance of getting it. Your bird only wants to breed with members of it's same gender. when breeding this trait overrules the strait trait when breeding. ((aka the other bird doesn't have to be homosexual.. just male XD))
bisexual: 1/20 chance of getting it. Your bird has the ability to breed with ANY other bird regardless of their gender.
Overrules the homosexual and straite traits. (aka. it doesn't matter if the bird is gay or not)
Having more than one bird growing up at the same time: This sometimes randomly generates a finder or nuts trait. They will interact with each other.. sometimes steal from each other or even appear in each others certs.
