Repeatative
Any and all suggestions are welcomed! Since the community would choose the winner, I should try to listen to them, right? xD It's not a guarantee that the idea would be included, but I will consider them. heart Thank you everyone!
'Kay, I don't exactly have the thing sketched out but I've been itchin' to have crowns that are more similar to 'accessories' (think that small crown pose in the zodiac item) and less of those bulky crowns (like the ones in the casino).
Okay, for the moon crown, I'm thinking black/blue. It'll look a little bit more 'twisted' instead of the straight geometric and will have some small dark miniwings on either side. The sun crown will be silver/gold with a more angelic feel. Little light miniwings to either side.
I want these crowns to be floating though, instead of on the head. It'll resemble a bit of the halo's ya'know? And since they'll have small little wings on the side, it'll make sense to have them floating instead. :3
Since the winner would most likely be a store item, I guess we'll only be allowed one option for each item. I hope they allow us to enter mutliple entries, especially if they're in the set. If not, I'll most likely go for the moon crown since it'll be a bit easier to match with the dark colouring and all.
So, I'm gonna start sketching a bit tonight. Anyone want to offer up some suggestions before I start?
Update: Writing out the item description now and decided to name the crowns after Apollo (Sun) and Selene(Moon) to add a fancy greek flair to it. Thanks to Jinx-nilla Serpent for the inspiration!
Update 2: Okay, I've had excellent suggestions from users so far. ChAGi-CuTe offered up naming the crowns diadems, which was a very nice idea since it'll provide more of a contrast between the two items. M00nlit-Flower also suggested changing Selene into Artemis, who is more of a counterpart to Apollo.
So, thus the items will be named 'Crown of Apollo' and 'Diadem of Artemis'. Both the items will be unisex, but they'll each have a lean towards a certain gender: crown for males and the diadem for females. Since this is for only one store item, I'll try to make them appealing to both sexes and give some leeway for the actual developers/artists to see if further changes would be needed.
I just really want to see a floating mini crown...>_> So I don't mind if the developers change most of it around, honestly. Besides, I trust their experience and expertise on what would look better pixelated. God knows I'm not much of a pixel artist. <_<
Anywho, since I don't have the concept sketch ready, I'll show you the reference material I'm using.

Of course, those were only used for reference. My design isn't going to copy it and I still need to make them fit around my idea: Minature, Floating with Miniwings, Obvious Apollo/Artemis(sun/moon) theme, black/blue and silver/gold colors. They'll be a good bit more simplistic so they'll be more versatile for avatars.
