The Neko Cafe
The Cafe
The busy streets of Tokyo never rests, this busy city witholds thousands of humans. But if one takes a turn from the hassle of the world, take a walk down a quiet neighbourhood and turn at the next corner, you never know you might end up. For you, these directions led to a quaint little place called, called 'The Neko Cafe.'
The Neko Cafe was nestled within a flurry of old buildings. It stands boldly at the corner of that street, it's pastel blue and pink decor would be very obvious if it weren't for the surrounding cherry blosson trees that hid it so well. But once it is spotted, the building would always dra a person in. If not by it's bright architecture, it will be because of the seet aroma of pastries and chocolates floating from it's windows.
Once inside you will see it is quite spacious, it's pink and blue theme continues throughout. There are many tables all covered ith neat pink doilies and surrounded by light blue chairs that had a modern Victorian feel to them. There are many things to notice in this place, first if you look above, you see pink clouds painted onto the ceiling. The lighting was stars scattered through the cotton-candy like painting. Next you see many pastries on display to your left. They are shown in delicate platters behind a glass cabinet, behind was another cabinet where more pastries are held. Connecting from the glass cabinet was a counter where the register is more seats is found. At the end of these seats is a door that led to the kitchen. Only the staff have access there. In the back of the room was a lage stage with pink and blue drapery, props for the entertainers and complicated electronics for effects. To it's right is a small bar with an assorment of colorful glasses, each containing some form of liquor. And lastly there were 5 computers lined across the right of the cafe, stopping just a few feet away from the bar.
Rawr! Long description, lol XD. Hellooooo, i am not describing the Cafe anymore. Instead I am telling why this here cafe as built.
You seee, a long time ago I made a lot of friends at a certain charity auction. Unfortunately, that auction came to an end and the friends I made there are now in scads of different threads. So we decided to build a hangout thread where we can meet and chat without the fear of getting shut down.
But do not fret, just cause you eren't in that auction doesn't mean you can't talk here. We are here to make friends also so feel free to chat here as well. Just make sure to follow the rules. Which is in the next post!
