We'd love to tell you what pokémon is in each pokéball, but we seem to have... misplaced the list. So, in a sale, you'll need to make an educated guess based on what pokéball you see. I've made a little list to help you out:

Pokéball: The generic pokéball. Usually used on common pokémon, but can be used for anything, really.

Great Ball: A slightly upgraded pokéball, for slightly upgraded pokémon.

Ultra Ball: ... a slightly upgraded great ball. Really.

Nest Ball: Used for pokémon of a lower evolution, or even "baby" evolution.

Net Ball: Commonly used for bug types, and less commonly, water types.

Dive Ball: Used for deep water pokémon, the kind you need to fish out.

Premium Ball: A fancy, expensive ball. For cute show pokémon we stole purchased from rich trainers.

Master Ball: There is no such thing as a Master Ball.

These balls will not be found in sales, and do not have any bearing on what pokemon is inside.

Mint Ball: chavi's custom pokéball. Any pokéxperiment custom made by chavi will use this ball.

Chocoball: Daifuku's custom pokéball. Any pokéxperiment custom made by Daifuku will use this ball.

To owners, we offer a special "Daycare"" Seasoned trainers know that daycare is the swiftest way to get an egg from two pokémon. Our experiments are no different. Only, unlike their quadruped counterparts, when breeding pokémon of different species, you'll get a mixed breed child. Weird, isn't it?

When breeding is open, owners can send in a form to put their pokémon in "daycare". The fee is 4,000g per pet. So, if you only own one half of the pair you only pay 4k, but if you own both pets you pay the full 8k.

However, if the babies will be mixed breeds, it's 5,000g per pet. The same rules apply.

Since the experiments are so close to humans, they'll only have two eggs per breeding. So before you sign your boys and girls up, there are a few rules:

1. Decide who's getting what before you apply. If one person is getting both babies, then say so. If you're giving them away, pick who's getting them.
2. Pay before you get your eggs.. No money, no eggs. We certainly don't mind keeping them. We love scrambled eggs.
3. One breeding per owner, per period. Each owner may only have one pokemon involved in one breeding, for every breeding period.
4. Pairs can be any gender. Love is a mystery. We also don't care.

All breedings will result in two eggs. There is also a 3% chance of triplets with each birth. Chavi or Daifuku will roll one 100-sided die for each couple, and if they get a 33, 66, or 99, three eggs will be born.

So, how can you get a bab-- err, I mean, bring your pokémon to our daycare?

The LAB has installations that are far better from regular pokémon centers, or home-run little daycares. Therefore, we can take in up to three pokémon pairs. No more, no less. They'll be looked after with much love and care, of course...



RULES:
- First come, first serve.
- PM only. You must PM nurse roy with the form if you wish to apply for daycare - don't post it in the thread.
- You must send the trade along with your form. If two people are breeding their pokémon, then both trades must be sent before we start working on your babies.
- The babies' design and gender will be random - you can't exactly choose these things!
- Make sure you decide who gets the baby/babies beforehand, if you're breeding your pokémon with someone else's. Make sure it's the pairing you want, there will be no changes once the form has been sent.

Shop Owners

The shop is run by chavi and Daifuku.



chavi is one of the two LAB owners. In character, he is the bitter doctor who sees the Lab as being the final nail in the casket of his career, paved with the plans of failed experiments. sweatdrop He teases his lab asisstant, Daifuku, mercilessly in his frustration.

He owns one experiment himself: Thomas, a mute caterpie.

Out of character, chavi does half of the art/colouring. She is not a doctor, but actually a college student. She still teases Daifuku as mercilessly, though. That part isn't an act!




Daifuku is a faithful lab assistant to Dr. Chavi, and indirectly responsible for the morphing of the pokémon into humanoids. Much to his annoyance, the scientist seems to delight in poking fun at him consistently.

His pokémon are a happy-go-lucky poochyena, Sophie, and an sassy meowth, Alphonse. Both are also mutated.

Out of character, Dai is a college graduate who does art in her spare time. She enjoys coffee, music, and Chavi, of course.






nurse roy is the pants-less, deadbeat, not easily amused nurse, employed by Chavi and often teased by Dai. He's not allowed to handle private matters because of his limited knowledge about the background operations, and enjoys spending his time playing with his DS or watching soap opera re-runs.

He's also the shop mule. Posts from Roy are either from chavi or Daifuku.
