Story

"At the dawn of the Millenium, the nation collapsed. At 15% unemployment, 10 million were out of work, 800,000 students boycotted school. The adults lost confidence, and fearing the youth, eventually passed the 'Millenium Educational Reform Act'...AKA: The BR Act."

"Program n. 1. A listing of the order of events and other information [...] 4. A battle simulation program conducted by our nation's ground defense forces, instituted for security reasons. Officially known as Battle Experiment No. 68 Program. Fifty third-year junior high classes are selected annually ... to conduct the Program for research purposes. Classmates in each class are forced to fight until one survivor is left. Results from this experiement, including the elasped time, are entered as data. The final survivor of each class (the winner) is provided with a lifetime pension and a card autographed by The Great Dictator..."

Quest

So why "Battle Royale"?
I started this quest on a whim, actually. Shortly after watching the movie a few weeks ago [approx. 2/15/2007], I went on Tektek.org to see if I could create a "Dream Avatar" that resembled a student from the Battle Royale program. Lo and behold, I could, and here we are.

How do you plan to raise the money?
Well after completing my previous quest to buy an Angelbow (I was literally racing against the clock to earn that last 2k and beat inflation), I was left completely broke. Starting from the ground up is not easy to do, as all of the newcomers can attest. Therefore, I hope to raise enough money to complete my quest through the normal means of gold collecting: posting in the forums; playing Word Bump, Blackjack, and the puzzle game; selling spare items; participtating in [preferably free] avatar contests; [possibly] selling avatar art; and of course, your donations. ♥

How much is the total outfit, and of course, what does it look like?
Read the next post down, under "Progress". I'll have a record of bought/dontated items, my current pure gold, and any spare items I'm willing to sell [under "Fundraising"].
