Read this whole post, PLEASE!

Many of us haven't seen an event in a very, very long time. Events include: trunks, giftboxes, and pink links. (This does not include events like for Halloween, Christmas, etc!!) But some people are still getting events on a regular basis.

A lot of people have mentioned that the event system isn't showing events, and you should click this link: http://www.gaiaonline.com/index.php?event= to see if you just missed one. If so, you should suddenly get 1k from it or have a trunk or box in your inventory. If not, join the club. If you do get one, but still feel like you should be getting more, feel free to sign. Now that this has been pointed out, DO NOT POST ABOUT THIS. If ya do, I'm probably going to add you to the blacklist.

In addition, I've noticed most people seem to be getting their events in towns. Not sure what my thoughts are on that yet.

This petition is to do one of the following:
Even it out so that all users are getting a fair amount of events...
or.. Raise the number of events...

If you would like to sign, please make that clear by saying something like ":signs:" or "I'll sign!" If you're commenting in the thread and don't say something like that, your name will not be added. Please be clear.

God, I've been a member of Gaia for over three years now. I used to get them fairly regularly - every few months or so. But lately, I haven't gotten any events. It's been about a year and a half, probably closer to two years, since my last one. The gaps just started getting longer and longer between them... and now I don't get them at all!

I know they're called "rare events", but this is just ridiculous. And if they think that the random spin you can win from everyday makes up for not having the events, they're wrong. I'd rather get an event every few months than have that silly random spin, from which you rarely win anything decent.

If people are getting random events in towns, it should be changed I know a lot of people who don't use towns that much, myself included. I had a problem with getting towns to function for me for a long time. We shouldn't be excluded from rare events just because we don't use towns. That's just not fair.

The rare events used to be really fun. I'd watch out for them like crazy, always worried that I might miss one. And when you did get one, it was great to wonder what you were going to get. Should you run the risk of having something amazing inside and sell it? Or should you open it and risk getting a silly item? And not just the chests and boxes, but pink links too. It was so nice getting the occasional gold boost every so often!

I miss rare events. I wish Gaia would bring them back.
