Long ago, Vampires roamed the earth. They fed as they pleased, Sired as they pleased and the humans did not oppose them. Vampires were powerful and beautiful and feared by man, but that was long ago. Then the age of Vampire hunters came. Humans began to fight back against the Vampires and hunted them nearly to extinction. Champions of the humans race would collect the carcasses of the bats, mounting them on their walls.
That, however, was also long ago. Now, in this age of modern, scientific man, humans believe Vampires to be nothing more than old folklore and myths. Now is the time when the Vampires shall rise again. One Vampire has survived these ages and He is determined to bring about a new age, an age where Vampires shall walk the earth once more.

One of the oldest Vampires (though exactly how old, no one but He can be sure of that) Malkav has survived through all the ages of mankind, having seen most of His kind wiped out. He now wishes to bring His kind back to this world. Not much is known about Malkav aside what he occassionally tells His childer in vague and indirect ways. He often seems very sad though. :History

Orientation: Hypersexual
History: Beautiful and entoxicating, Lillythe and Malkav came to life together. They were a perfect match, or so it seemed. When Lillythe realized the potential to be worshipped and adored by millions, She grew power hungry and began building armies of Vampires to adore and worship Her. She made Herself into a Goddess on earth, with countless followers and saught to repay Malkav for not taking place the place of the God next to Her. Could such a powerful woman have been destroyed by mere humans over the ages?

Nikkolai had given up on life and was in the middle of a suicide attempt when Malkav "rescued" him. Malkav had been watching him for quite a while and decided that he would be the first of His new legion. At first, Nikkolai was rather unappreciative of this second chance, but now, he's grown to love his Sire and even a tad arrogant at being his First. He sees himself as better than most of Malkav's childer and often pushes them around; however, he really just wants to make sure they understand what a gift they've been given and that they appreciate and respect their Sire as much as He deserves. :History

Name: Koronos
Gender: Male
Stage: Elder (but keeps in bat form)
Orientation: Bisexual (prefers Lillythe)
History: Thought to be dead, Koronos is a Vampire from before the age of Vampire hunters. He survived by hiding in his bat form similar to Malkav and neither know the other is still about. Koronos and Malkav were lovers once; however, he betrayed Malkav and bound himself to Lillythe when She offered to make him a God. He spent the next several centuries working for Lillythe by luring away Malkav's childer and fellow Vampires into Her service, starting wars, even assisting vampire hunters in tracing down those who didn't serve Lillythe. He has been in hiding for many years and now has finally located Malkav again.

Mala was only eight years old when Malkav turned her, and often it seems she's just a child. Behind that sweet demeanor, however, is something far more menacing. She grew up in a abusive household and after being turned, attacked and killed her father for the things he did to her. She has a very warped view of the world (especially sexuality) and deems anything outside of that view to be a peversion whcih she must punish harshly. She also has a gift for Blood Magic unlike that of any of the other Vampires. As His second childer, Mala knows her importance to Malkav and takes pride in being His.:History

Orientation: Heterosexual
History: A legendary man, know as the best Vampire hunter in history. While he should be long since dead (hey- humans got that limited lifespan going on) his name has been carried on to his descendents.

While in actuallity there are four stages to these pets, most characters will only see the second and the third. (previews will be posted soon!)

The human

In this stage, you are yourself. A normal human in the mundane world. You go to school or work. You live a normal life, unaware that Vampires could be lurking around any corner. Ah, ignorance is bliss, idn't it?
*Anyone may play a character at this stage, though it's not neccessary to roleplay this stage, nor will playing it guarentee your character will be turned into a Vampire. This stage is not drawn or certed.




The Bat

After being bitten, your once human body is now that of a Vampire bat. Vampires have the ability to change shape but it must be learned and until you learn how, you're stuck in this body, not that you neccesarilly know how to work it. Some pick up quite quickly, but others find themselves unable to fly or even walk with out stumbling over their new wings. You must first learn how to live as a Vampire bat and then how to shift into humanoid form. You will soon find yourself hungering for blood though. Right now your bite is too weak to Sire another Vampire, but that will soon change. Until then, you can communicate with other Vampires and other bats, but not humans. Human ears cannot hear the sonar you use to communicate and well, most people are afraid of bats.
*Upon purchasing a pet, you can choose to have a character you've already been playing bitten or start anew. This is the first stage you will recieve certed. This stage is not roleplay neccessary but we highly encourage roleplay. It's notonly fun, but will encourage your pet to grow.


The Vampire

You've finally got the hang of your shape-shifting powers and now have a humanoid form. You can change back and forth and your bite is now strong enough to Sire new Vampires. Most of the time you're still in a chibi body though, so the only way for you to procreate is to Sire another Vampire. This takes alot of energy though and so most times your bite will only "ghoul" a human, giving them sun-sickness and nightmares for a short while. You can interact with humans now, though it takes alot to take on the adult form and you can only hold it for short periods of time.
*This stage is reached when you Sire your first childer. Once you reach this stage you can "breed" by Siring new Vampires. You may choose to Sire a character of your own and keep the new Vampire only when Siring slots are open. You can also occassionally Sire another person's character, but only during special events.


The Elder Vampire

Very few Vampires now-a-days will ever reach full adulthood, but occassionally, Malkav finds a special Vampire who He deems worthy of the full change. You've been choosen by Him for just that, taken into His chambers and taught the secrets of the Vampires of Old. You can now remain in your adult body which will be your face for eternity. With Malkav's permission you can even form your own clan. You have full use of all your Vampiric traits and even some new ones unique to you and your Childer. You can fully interact with humans and best of all, you can now choose a mate and have children.
*This is a special stage that most will never recieve. It's rewarded to those who are commited to roleplaying their character and who we feel have contributed much to the store. We will occassionally open slots where someone can buy this stage or offer this stage as a prize for events, but it is not something we will do often. This stage will include a fully grown Vampire capable of starting his or her own clan, though to do that one must continue to roleplay diligently. Upon reaching this stage you may use the breeding slots as well, and have children with another fully grown Vampire, to produce natural born Vampires which will feature completely new art as well as new guidelines.

We're holding a contest for all you artists out there. We want to see how you would draw some of our cast. Below you will find descriptions for five of our cast to do with as you please, whether it be a drawing you scan in, a cg or sme other form of art, be creative!

Descriptions

Malkav:

Slender and tall, Malkav has long white hair and eyes that glow red when He's hungry. He is generally clean shaven and well dressed. Sometimes, He shows off His wings, black and feathered and full body length when folded. He has a strong dark presense.

Mala:

Petite and the epitomy of lolita, Mala has long red curls and green eyes that also glow red on occassion. She wears lace, frills and gothic lolita dresses and looks to be about eight. If you look in her eyes though, what you will see is far more than any child (or even adult for that matter) carries. She tends to carry around a headless teddy bear which she calls Malkav.

Lillythe:

Sensual, erotic and alluring, Lillythe was seen as a Goddess by many for more than just Her power. She has long dark hair and eyes that shine the silver of moonlight. Her wardrobe is always that fitting of a Goddess, slinky, showing and gorgeous. She prefers to keep Her wings out, black and feathered, grazing the ground by her feet. Her presence begs to be pampered, adored, even worshipped.

Nikkolai:

He thinks he's the sexiest and most gracious one of the four, with his cockier than thou attitude and his beautiful, luxourious blonde hair and charming green eyes. He is tall and slender and meant to be worshiped as a fashion god. Always dressed in his best and always wearing a top hat. Nikkolai is definately high maitnence. Occasionally he can be found with long shadowy wings.

Koronos:

Dark and mysterious, Koronos tends to keep to the shadows. When he does emerge, his presence is overwhelming. Darkness follows him and infects all who get too close. He has long black hair kept pulled back in a braid. His eyes are the only "light" amidst his figure, shining bright green, but te cruelty radiating from them taints even that light.


You can draw any or all of them, individually or together, currently, or in the past.

The first place prize will be a basic custom. (More and better prizes may be added depending upon participation.)
