Each student may range from being a normal human, to something as fantastical as a dragon child, or a snake being...maybe even returned from the dead. Most students are Altered-Humans: humans with selective genes mixed with an animal's, so that they possess an attractive amount of characteristics.

As they walk their own paths at the Academy, they increase both their Insanity and Genius percentages, and they may get a chance to bond with a Deity and become a Bonded child.

All graduates of the Academy are guaranteed lifelong jobs. Your child will be wealthy, will do what they love, will be powerful. They will be everything. Some will be assassins, others engineers, others heads of corporations and others yet leaders of cults to a Deity they are channeling.

Care to enroll your child? Take a number. Slots are rare, but every so often, Mr. Zaucken allows a few more in, a few more students who are given the chance to realize their dreams...and more.

In deciding factors that require judging- I usually go to mylove to help me decide, and do little actualy decision on my own because I am horrendously biased. And blame anything on the holy head of mylove and you will all perish.
[3] Formal RP in the guild, please.
[4] My prices can and WILL change without notice. Be prepared.
[5] Use proper English or DIE. I understand if it's your second language, but pleaseee try to make it as nice as possible. heart
[6] These are RP mandatory pets, and can be taken away if you stop without warning. (I'm pretty lax, just don't disappear D:~)
[7] Before you ask, yes you may have more than one. RP requirements are the same.

For Parents //
[1] You may not actually RP at the Academy till your lettered has opened.
[2] Only take on as many as you can.
[3] Keep in mind the ages when you date. 0% is usually 8-11, 25% 10-14, 50% 13-15, 75% 14-17, 100% 18+
[4] Try to learn the backstory of each race before you purchase, via asking me or whatever. Each one is special to me, they are my children from a time long before gaia.

[ The Memoirs ]

Edward Zaucken stumbled on the Academy when he was only twenty four. He is forty seven now. This is his life's project.

Children come to see him, when they are small and malleable. They emerge changed, for the better and the stronger. All have uses. All. Even the craziest ones.

Especially the craziest ones.

He smiles, and steeples his fingers in the dark of his office.

They will come, one by one. They will never be his, they will be the Academy's, just as he is.

He will take each child, from the corners of Nilyx, and craft the world's finest once again, from the Academy that is a haven and a jail.

The paint on the Asylum Academy isn't peeling, and the little wood on it isn't worn. The plexiglass is stainless and unmarred, the chrome shines clear, and from the windows peek a few children. Some with eight eyes and eight arms, some with cat ears and others with fins. Some with snake bodies and some grinning gremlins. This is the Academy. It full the best. The brightest.

The steps leading up to the double black doors don't creak as they are pounded on by tiny and large feet alike every morning. They quietly give way, bending under the pressure and weight. It is old.

The five towers aren't filled with people, but surveillance and security measures. The black gates surrounding the perimeter are made of synthetic black diamonds, not iron. The path is not cement alone, but metal pounded into a dozen paper thin sheets layered over it.

There are two dorms, one for males and one for females. The first floor has six rooms that each fit two children, and the proceeds up five floors this way. The seventh floor has four rooms, for teachers.

The building is now just barely filled, after abandoned after many years of disuse the numbers are hard to build up. The current headmaster is in the uppermost floor, on the right. His light burns, a beacon to those who can see it. Mr. Edward Zaucken steepled his hands, and gazed out his window. He sees words "Insanity Encourages Genius" are carved into the plaque of the gate leading into the school, but he does not need to read them to hear them in his head.

It is burned into his brain, for these words are known in every language and every manner to every student and inmate. "These are the words you live by," said the headmaster, once. That was one hundred and fifty years ago. No one has forgotten it since.

Mr. Zaucken looks down at the small list of names in his ledger, divided by species and age and gender. In time, it would grow.

He was sure of it.

These rankings are basically the 'grades' or 'years' at the Academy. The paths your student walks are variable, provided they can prove it.

Genius Percentages //
0% - Here, your student may be geeky, nerdy, or just well read.
25% - Your child has decided on a love, be it books or science or math. Their power begins to show, if they have one.
50% - Their powers are at half mast, their abilities left untapped. The most confusing period, where much learning occurs, and they dive into their subject.
75% - Powers are nearly completely accentuated, their knowledge in their subject is almost unrivalled. Cold. Sharp. Calculating,
100% - A full fledged genius. Brilliant in their topic, and a good deal more. Their powers are unstoppable, and their minds are brighter than the sun.

Insanity Percentages //
0% - Here, your student may be artistic, a dreamer, or actually nutters.
25% - Your child may develop their art, wander into their dreams further, some begin showing certain chaotic tendencies.
50% - At this point they may go seriously off the deep end. Some kill animals, others people. It is encouraged. Others are lost in themselves...but all their powers are at half chances, on the brink of swelling into something beyond the norm.
75% - Those that are lost are gone forever. Powers are strong, insanity goes further. The harmless are seperated from the harmful, here.
100% - The murderers and assassins are the best they can be, the dreamers are the only true imaginers in the world. All precious.

Almost every student posseses a power. If they do not, they will possess a bond, as without a power one can not progress down the path of Insanity nor the one of Genius, so they are assisted by the bonded deity.

(this list always grows.)

Possible Powers & Effects //All are substantially driven by the feed.
Energy - [metaphysical] charged for all things, energetic, possible extra-sensular ('psychic' or 'elemental')
Ferocity - [physical] a violet approach to all things, aggressive, headstrong.
Tactics - [mental] slow, thoughtful, quieter, likes games like chess and Go.
Puppetry - [hypsical] Via the feed, control puppets
FKinesis - [mental] via the feed, manipulate the area around you
Shrewdity - [mental] EXTREMELY quick witted, a faster version of tactics, on the spot planning and wordplays

Possible Bonds & Effects //
Eris - [greek] goddess of chaos, allows manipulation of reactions
Ares - [greek] god of war, allows prowess in fights, knowledge of violence
Set - [egyptian] god of chaos, storms, wind, lands, allows excelling in all things, forces insanity points to increase
Anubis - [egyptian] god of mummification, ability to communicate with dead and death
Damkina - [babylonian] goddess of knowledge, boosts genius points
Loki - [norse] haha chaos <3<3

Bonded Percentages[if you are bonded, you get an extra percent scale after your deity bonds with you] //
0% - Here, your student may be. Well. ...on any path. How...on schedule.
25% - Your child is still on a path, but have found...something to fix that. A bond with a higher deity.
50% - The bond is developed, they begin merging with the deity.
75% - The bond grows stronger, powers are almost developed fully.
100% - Bonded in mind, spirit, in blood. They are the deities vessel on Nilyx, their mortal body, where all power is lent to.

These are the NPCs, Tabitha is played by the same woman on gaia, Astra and Lineslieth are me, as well as the rest of staff.

Edward Zaucken // the man in charge. Rare to see and rarer to know. Teaches one subject when he pleases, psychology for 75%+. Types in black.

Alvira Boulregard // the second in charge. Seen more often than Zaucken, and teaches all sciences and head of Genius students. Types in green.

Astra Lines // Bonded with Lineslieth. Fun loving and a good deal off the sanity metre. Head of Insanity students, all Art departments. Types in normal text.

Tabitha Ladouceur // the calmin presence is insurmountable, unless you anger her. Then she might flay you. Alive. Head of the English department. Types in dark red.

Lineslieth Astrath // Bonded with Astra, and one of the few Darakieln with known whereabouts. Head of Insanity students, as well as Mathematics and Histories, types in orange.

Avenine Sintralc // A sprite about half a metre in height. Tricksy, but playful. Chef for the Academy. Types in dark blue.

RA // The AI that oversees electives and languages, projects self as an alien dragon. Types in gray.

Aerin Frolest // The Nurse that also helps RA run the office. An Altered human with black hair and big eyes, still looks very young. And girly. Counseler, and helps Bonded students. Types in pink.

Doktor Grausam // A scientist, given free reign over all things...RA's creatrix and the one who made gewaltspiralen...May cause a bit of havoc...Types in slate gray.
