Each stage is custom made starting from the child onwards, so this is just a sample of what you could expect. Each large image is accompanied by a smaller one which can be used as signatures.

First stage :: The Empty Jar
In a rather crude fashion, Shy has fashioned a jar that can hold the fae for a while longer. Once you place an item, a gift of sorts within the jar, the fae will be able to differentiate your receptacle from the others.

Second stage :: The Glowing Jar
There is something in the jar! Although the fae are the size of small dolls, they are still invisible to the naked eye. However, the jar has special reflective properties that give you a hint of what they contain! Once you have a jar, you must take it to Shy who will initiate project 030.

Third stage :: The Child
Because Shy is terrified of babies, they are given to their guardians in their child stage. Like children they can speak, walk, eat, cry, and manipulate. ^^ During this stage they will discover their power, make friends and learn more about their life than is necessary.

Forth stage :: Teenager Stage
And now your baby is a teenager? Shy will come by with a special teacher, a pet of sorts because it is now that your fae can start using their gifts. Just what are they, and what can they do? They start showing their potential, and their physical characteristics take shape.

Fifth stage :: Young Adult Stage
Your fae has returned to you, and clearly of either courts! You can see what their gifts are because it has taken form, and do you see physical manifestations of their gifts? Because they are still young adults, although they are not quite immortal, they have become very hard to kill. However, because fae are naturally loyal, they decide to stay with you a little longer.

Sixth stage :: Adult Stage
This all depends on if your fae has passed their Quest. They can come back human, stripped of any more glory but able to reincarnate in their next life, or as one of the mighty fae! Any physical manifestations of their gift will have completed, and now you are the proud friend of an adult.

Seventh stage?? :: Elder Stage
Very few fae will reach this stage, as well as humans because… well, it means that they've been alive for so long! The fae will be an elder, fully capable of wreaking desctrution on the world except... well, you've raised them. What do you think? And the human is living, expectant to their next life. Either way, they are happy, have lived a rich life and…hey, is that a jar they're leaving you as a present?

The laboratory
Very clean, white and stainless steel edges, the lab is a large underground mansion. Be careful where you go, because while you will always have one or two guides dressed in white robes... well, who knows? No one has fully explored the lab yet.

Shy
Tall, slender and enigmatic, he is somewhat eerie with pale skin, shoulder length straight black hair and odd feline green eyes. With a smirk on his face and a purr in this throat, he's very touchy feely.

The habitat
You take the fae home with YOU, with weekly visits in order to determine their health as well as mental development. However, in case you do take quarters near the lab for easier commute, the lab is located in the middle of a sprawling urban city underneath a large white house.
