Happy Holidays! Just in time for the season, Sajhiri found herself in a dilemma. She broke an ancient artifact and it released a large number of gargoyles, formerly decorative accessories to her tower home, from a terrible curse! She was happy to have helped these hungry, energetic little fellas, but there were far too many for her to care for alone, and not nearly enough food in her place to keep them all happy! So she decided to let other gaians gift them to friends and family for the Christmas season!

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Sajhiri was valiantly chasing her mischevious toddler, Rebecca, through the halls of the Silva Regia tower. Bex had grabbed a rather expensive tube of cadmium red paint from Sajhiri's art box, opened it, and was running and squeezing it at the same time. Draperies, walls, rugs, and the child herself were beginning to look like Jason Vorhees or Michael Myers had paid a visit...red everywhere.


In her haste to catch her daughter and stop the carnage, Sajhri didn't see the rubber ducky lying in the middle of the floor. She tripped over it and went crashing into a display case of various sundry artifacts she'd found in the tower when she first moved in. With a crash, the while case came tumbling down, and a large jeweled ceramic egg shattered on the floor before her. A strange mist drifted out of it, just as Sajhiri finally swept her giggling toddler up into her arms.

The mist rose up, curling around the hundreds upon hundreds of stone gargoyles that perched in every rafter, corner, and outcropping of the stone building. Where it touched, the stone carvings began to shudder, then crack. Pieces of stone rained down on Jhiri and she ducked under a table. Long moments later the sound of stone falling was replaced by squeals and giggles, and a strange rumbling. She crawled out to see what it was, and there, on the table, were a pair of gargoyles! But there were flesh and blood and chittering at one another happily, their little wings flapping in excitement.

The rumbling was their tummies, and Sajhiri soon learned just how much they ate. Like billy goats, they'd eat anything, and particular loved junk food! And they weren't alone. All over the tower more gargoyles awoke, all hungry and happy to be free. What could Jhiri do with so many!? She decided that the kind folks of Gaia might be able to help, and set up a secret santa shop to send the little fellows to new caretakers!

  1. To name your Gargoyle, please post the name of the image in the thread (the part before .jpg, ie ST-S012) and the name you wish for it to have.
