But two foolish thieves in search of a luxurious and well concealed home fall victim to the lures of The Library. What was once a mere myth of the town, folklore of strange children originating from the books of a library no one has seen, turned into a hushed truth.

And this is where our story begins.

Welcome, welcome! It's that time of year again, the holidays! And with it come the cheer and glee of gift giving and gift receiving [though we all know the giving is the best part, o'course ;D!] In this thread you'll find a huuuuge raffle that offers great prizes, all brought to you out of the pockets of the Forgotten Documents' Pippin! 1. Raffle tickets work like so:

100g each ticket you buy for yourself.
50g each ticket you buy for someone else.

2. You must buy two tickets for other people minimum for every ticket you buy yourself. Greed is not what the holiday cheer is about, so spread the love!

3. No fighting, whining, flaming, boasting, outright encouraging people to buy tickets for you, begging, etc. in the thread, or you will be disqualified. Negativity is also not a part of the holiday spirit!

4. Send the trade to quietsnooze (me!) once you state in the thread who you are buying tickets for, and how many. THE MONEY FROM THE RAFFLE TICKETS WILL GO TOWARDS BUYING ANOTHER GRAND PRIZE, so the more tickets we sell, the better the prize is likely to become!

First off, it's not just a secret santa business, but it is for now, because -- well. I can't tell you why it is just for now. If I tell you, Fionn would skin me alive, and then I wouldn't be here for all you last minute shoppers, now would I?

Now, all you lovely lasses ( and lads who are panicking about what to get that special someone, or anyone for that matter ), I'll be selling jars to you. Now, these aren't just any jars. These jars are magically sealed and cannot be broken ( trust me, the inhabitants have tried, oh yes they have, <3 ) and are, actually, very cold to the touch ( portable air conditioner for the coming summer months, anyone? ). There are three different colored jars and within each of them is, wait for it, a frost pixie of your very own to have!

( No pixies were harmed in the creation of this shop. Pixies were harmed, maimed, and otherwised enslaved for my personal enjoyment and shall now be sold to you for a price. We fairies are not too fond of pixies, as they are ... not as elegant as we are. Never mind I am a fire fairy and what else am I suppose to do besides torment lovely frosty pixie wenches? )

Below, you'll see a sample of my wares ( do be a sweetheart and stop leering at me ), the specific jars, that are for purchase.

Jars are 800g for a friend and 1000g for yourself. Each one contains a frost pixie that I, myself, have gone out and captured. Now, granted, some of them aren't too bright ( though you'd be suprised with the things that come out of their mouth ), but they can make for a good companion. In fact, I'll even highlight the contents of each jar for you -- as each of the jars contains a pixie of a specific temprament.

The Blue Jars contain normal pixies. Not too bright, these, but they can be a handful if left alone to their own devices. Never mind a pain in the arse. If you don't know what kind of frost pixie you want for someone, this one is likely to be the one for you. They're fair tempered and don't get as cranky as some of hte other frost pixies.

The Purple Jars contain good pixies. When I say good, I mean willreturnlargeamountsofmoneytotheowner good. They might just have a bit more intelligence than the other pixies, but in my honest opinion, no pixie really has a brain. They just fake their intelligence. In any case, these frost pixies make for a good messenger or companion. If you treat them right ( unlike me ; torture them it is! ), they'll be loyal subjects.

Black Jars. Think that needs to be underlined. Black Jars. There we go. Black Jars contain the nastiest of the frost pixies. Or, perhaps, a bit naughty if you want to phrase it that way. I'm sure, underneath the frosty wench exterior, there is a warm heart -- but if there is, I'd be surprised. I mean, I did try to burn thr -- ahem. In any case, these pixies are the perfect pest for that person you've been wanting to annoy. Or, maybe, you just like having a mischievous partner-in-crime. In any case, if you treat them right ( and they can be sadistic little buggers, so a little pain goes a long way! ), they'll certainly be loyal. ( I'm also not responsible if these come out a little singed, as they are not easy to catch! Wenches. )

If, after reading all that, you are interested in purchasing a lovely Hidden Rim Secret Santa, do read on ahead.

All payments must be sent to yours truly. If you do not send payment to yours truly, then your gift reciever will not be getting any gifts from you.

(( Basically, if you want to attempt to bribe Reyna, who is the one that has done all the coloring and lineart, you can attempt it. She will color one of the three pixies with your specifications. No lineart edits will be made, however. Never mind she doesn't necessarily have the time. So, you can try to bribe, but just keep in mind it probably won't happen. Send all bribes and bribery attempts to Reyna, since they're out of my hands, <3. Never mind Aodh might not want to do it anyway. He is a finicky fire fairy, XD. ))

There once was a writer named Wren who liked to write very much. His profession on Gaia was just that exactly! He wrote to his heart's content and sold a great many books ( and has even run into a fan or two, though no one knows it's really him ). So he decided, one holiday season, to offer his services to the masses. For those that wish to have stories as gifts, he would do his best to provide. Just so long as there are those that wish to buy these sorts of gifts, that is.

|| About This Secret Santa ||

It's a bit out of place to see a writer offering services, but there are those out there that do actually want writing for presents and I'm attempting to see that that wish can be granted. However, keep in mind that I usually prefer things with original characters ( such as breedable pets, roleplay characters, avatar characters, etcetera ). Don't get me wrong, I can write fanfiction, but my fandoms are limited ( you are free to PM me to inquire if you're interested in fanfiction and want to know if I've a clue about the fandom ).

As for samples of my writing? Feel free to check out my not entirely full deviantart account or my "pet" journals ( Mael ; Lafe ; Hawk ). Some of my writing can also be found at True Name, which is a collective of writing I've done for some of my own characters, along with the writings of TarnishedHalo. Granted, a lot of THAT hasn't been proofread to my satisfaction despite being up. I refuse to admit where my horde of fanfiction is actually hosted at, at the moment, heh.

There's very little that I won't write about, as it can be a bit hard to put me off of writing something. If you're unsure whether or not I may not want to write whatever it is you have in mind, just ask. The odds are, I likely won't have a problem with it. As soon as I find something I won't write, I'll place it here.

And since somebody just shared with me something I won't write, I'll let it be known here. I won't write Mary Sue or Marty Stu type characters. Really. They make my eyes bleed. Keep in mind that I will not usually write full blown smut. I will write foreplay and maybe allude to the actual act, but Wren writing smut isn't likely to happen any time soon. It gets trite after so many years. That doesn't mean, however, that it couldn't happen -- it's just not likely.

Drabbles ; any story under 500 words.
Price: 800g.
Usually a short scene, describing a single moment in time. It's meant to be short and to the point, expressing what needs to be expressed.
Short Stories ; any story over 500 words, but under 3000 words.
Price: 2000g.
A longer piece that describes an event, usually just one or expresses a matter more deeply than in a drabble.
Longer Works ; any work over 3000 words.
Price: 4000g
A longer work, usually telling an entire story and not just one part of it unlike a short story or a drabble.
Poetry ; any length.
Price: Prices vary; PM to inquiry or ask in thread.
Poetry can literally be anything or everything. Sometimes an emotional piece, sometimes telling a story, sometimes something else.
