Raffles:

This is the post where we'll be raffling off different pets. <3 Here I will have a list of each pet, and who holds tickets for each. x3

Rules:

1. Each ticket costs 10g. <3 Tickets are FREE!
2. There is a limit of 20 tickets per person, we want everyone to have a chance. <3
3. The raffle starts on November 22nd, and ends on December 23rd at 8PM EST. <3

Writing Contest:
This contest will be a writing contest in celebration of all the talented people out there, that never seem to ever get recognized for thier exceptional writing skill. There will be prizes, and no doubt many enteries. The contest will consist of the writing of one story about the following theme.

The theme for this years thread will be "A Gaian NPC Holiday"

Essentially what this means is that your story, while it most certainly can focus in on you or your friends, must include at least ONE Gaia NPC. Also, it is considered wise that the setting be at least near to, if not in Barton, Durem, Akeaka, or the Isle De Gambino.

Prizes:

-An Earth Elemental
-A Metal Elemental

Whomever wins this contest will choose which pet they want, and the runner-up will get the other. <3

Rules:
-Follow Gaia TOS
-Stories must follow a Holiday theme (note: this does not mean happy however ^_~)
-Stories must be at least one page in length, with no maximum size limit.*
-Stories must include at least one NPC from Gaia
-Romance is a fine thing to add to any tale, but PLEASE, keep it pg13
-Title all works
-Only one entry per Gaian, and no useing mules
-If we discover Plagarism or theft of any kind, you will be reported and BANNED from this thread
-Have fun with this!

Lastly, PM all stories, when complete and done, to either Twiddle or Absolam We are nice people, so no worries. All skill level is appreciated, and must likely you'll get story feedback even if you don't win.

*A standard page is 12 font, double spaced, in microsoft word or a similar program.

On Gaia, there are any number of people that have any number of agenda's. Some strive to make friends, others look to seek out a rare item, and still others simply poke around to talk. But I think we all know at least one person on Gaia that has always been a help to others. Isn't that what the holidays are all about? It is in the spirit of thanks and good will, that this award The Holiday Spirit award, will be given out. This award is to be given to one Gaian that we feel is generous, kind, and honestly a decent person. This does not mean that they give and give and give ALL the time. That would be silly. No, what we're looking for is someone whom is kind to others when they need it, open, and makes other people happy before themselves.

Rules:
The winner of the award must first fit the following criteria:
1. They must be nominated by someone else, and said person must tell us why they think the nominee should get the award.
2. They must of been apart of Gaia for at least one month, and been active. This is to ensure some random mule doesn't win. ^^
3. Please, do not tell a person you have nominated them, it would ruin the surprise

Pet Contest

Think you're pet is hawt? Wanna prove s/he's the best of the best looking? Then this is for you! Here we're going to have a beauty contest type event, which will be held before the others. This is really just for fun, so there's no fee to enter. We'll only be accepting ten pts starting today (Oct. 14th) so get 'em in now!

Some Gaians have very good luck, so if you think you're one of them, try out our Dice Game!

Twiddle will generate a random number between 1 and 100. After her post, everyone may roll as many times as they'd like. If you land on the number Twiddle generated, you win this beauty!: {X}
