Welcome to Kichou! This won't be ready for sometime, but you can post if you'd like. We'll be updating the posts time to time. Anyway, this is a breedable managed by Emi and KawaiiHannah. KawaiiHannah will be doing the graphics and stuff while Emi does...the setting up and helpness and stuff. If you have any suggestions on something, feel free to give your idea :3 There is a preview in Kichou's sig of the pet and a guardian (There's many different types) as well, so enjoy!

Story in progress ^^ There's little bits of information throughout this thread though X3 The basics is, Kichou live on a small island just off the coast of Gambino ^^ Hannah and Emi were appointed overall guardians by the elders of Kichou. Why? Well we're not quite sure yet o.o;; But we're doing out best to help out, especially with the task of keeping poachers at bay and providing homes for Kichou ^^ heart heart

Kichou are mystical creatures. They begin as a rare gem and with nuturing, grow to become adult Kichou ^^

Stage 1
These magical gems are mined deep underground in a secret location on Kichou island. They are an extremely rare find, partly due to them taking many years to properly form and also partly due to the fact that they are incredibly fragile. This is why, when you buy a Kichou, they are encased in a protective bubble until they are strong enough to survive without it ^^


Stage 2
Still a little fragile, but not quite so much as the first stage, your Kichou has now grown to be a child ^^ Children go through many 'trials' of life, especially during their teenage time.


Stage 3
With your Kichou now fully grown, they are more stable in their thoughts and are able to wander around the island freely, without worrying so much about Poachers anymore. Of course, there are now other things to worry about, love, life and the future of Kichou? o.o




Stage 4?
According to legend, there is an Ancient stage of Kichou, although none have yet to be seen today other than the drawings depicted on ancient temple ruins o.o

Depending on the color of your Kichou's gem, it will show the type it is and it's personality.

Garnet: A commanding authority comes naturally to a Garnet Kichou, they make great leaders.
Rose: Bubbly and full of life, there is a never a dull moment ^0^
Sapphire:
Amethyst:
Topaz:
Emerald: Down to earth, quiet...
Ruby:
Amber: Warm
Blue Topaz: Calm, peaceful disposition.
Diamond: Honest and trustworthy by nature, these gentle Kichou are loyal to the end ^_^ Angelic wings help them bring hope to new heights!
Onyx: Mischevious little Kichou, they love to cause trouble ninja The special thing about these pets is they automatically come with Nitemare Wings surprised
Opal: Kichou that grow from an Opal gem seem to have an unpredictable nature o.o They're a very rare find X3

When you buy a Kichou, you get to pick where it lives, hairstyles / colours, clothes and even some other special items. Certain gems will have certain personality traits (or something like that XP) and habitat preferences of course, and you are asked to fulfil those 'needs' as best you can (pretty much just keeping in character regarding hairstyle / clothes) ^^; Still working everything out though XD heart heart

These are overlayed over the sky you choose ^^ You don't have to choose one of these if you just want the sky as your habitat background X3

Now, I bet you were wondering exactly how you could get one of these pets, correct? Well, the first way is a flatsale! In a flatsale, we will have a few different kind of Kichou's for sale, the numbers will vary depending on how the miners are going.
Anyway, K i c h o u will post GO! in giant bold red letters signaling for you to post which you want.
If you win, we will then ask you what you want to name it and you will get to pick what your fully grown Kichou will look like. If you do not pick a default set of clothes, your pet will be in undergarmets when it gets to the final stage :3 But if you'd like to have your pet in undergarmets, feel free XD Also, Kichou in flatsales are 5K each (Feel free to use a donation letter as payment). This price is subject to rise or be lowered depending on how sales go.
Why so expensive? o.o Well, because you can choose how your Kichou will look, we have to pay the tailors and salon owners well for making your clothes and hair just how it should be ^^ heart heart

Flatsale Rules:

1. No editing posts
2. You can only win ONE Kichou per flatsale.
3. No complaining if you lose.
4. Use the ORDER FORM when posting which Kichou you want. If you don't, you're post will be skipped.
5. You may NOT have other people trying for you if you can be there yourself. If we see more then one form for somebody, they will be disqualified, even if they were the first to post.



The Order Form


For Hair, pick the hair # and any color, for eyes just pick any color, and for skin, if you want a change from default, say which skin potion as the first one is free. If you do win, we then need you to fill out the item form from the item shop with the basic set of clothes, unless you want your Kichou in undergarments. Remember, Accessories and Potions cost extra! Unless they come with your Kichou in the flatsale :3

Another way to get a Kichou is through an auction. Auctions will be the only way to get special potions, special guardians, and special pets (Cosplay, Demonic, Angelics, Customs, etc.). As of right now, starting bids for one of these will most likely range from 5K-10K. Prices are subject to rise or be lowered depending on how it goes.

1. No taking our work or editing it x___x;; Hey, we did work hard on everything here, that includes all the banners / shop graphics X3

2. Respect others X3 We don't want harrassment cases here. Nor do we want shop advertisements XP

3. No begging, pity attempts or otherwise, you don't see us doing that sort of thing >.>

Now that the poacher threat is virtually diminished, I can provide a diagram of the known species of Guardians ^^ There are of course sub-species of guardians, varying in colour and markings than some of the more common guardians.

When you purchase a Kichou, a guardian will automatically come with it. They serve both as a good luck charm as well as hold ancient protective magic to aid in watching over your Kichou.

Here's some questions to start you off ^^ More will come XP I can't honestly stress this enough, if you have a question, please check here first XD Then if it's not here / you don't understand the answer, feel free to ask us to elaborate o.o;;

Can I have one?
If you win a flatsale/auction/content/raffle, then sure.

Can I be on staff?
If we need help, we'll say something. Otherwise, the answer is no.

How much are these pets?
5K seems to be the price, but this is still being decided on. You may pay with sealed letters to get one.

When will this store be up?
How long is a piece of string? ... When we're finished XD

What does Kichou mean?
It means Precious in Japanese.

Does roleplay give anything special?
We're still deciding, but as of right now, we're thinking of special items, special backgrounds, and faster growing. (Remember, we're thinking about it XD Growings will more than likely be faster though ^^ )

Is roleplay manditory?
Of course not! But it is encouraged X3 heart heart Remember, roleplaying might help your pet grow faster XD

Do you take pet trades?
Yes we do! For more info, look at the Pet Trade post!

I want a custom! How do I get one?
First off, read the custom post XD In short;
Either bribe us with two of the same 2003 items/letters, win a custom pet auction, or offer us two custom pets of your own in a pet trade. Please realize we probably won't accept everything or many at all, but please don't be offended if we say no! We may just not have enough time for a pet trade at the moment.

How many different types are there and what are they?
Well, they're still being discovered XD So we can't tell you XP

How many different guardians are there and what are they?
Again, they're still being discovered!! @o@;; heart heart

How many Kichou can I have?
No limit. You can have as many as you'd like, but only one per flatsale ^^

How many Gaurdians can I have?
Guardians have only ever been known to be one to each gem, although who knows, maybe there is a chance there could be more than one guardian to a gem o.o

Your prices are too expensive!
Then don't buy one XD Remember, a lot of hard work has gone into these @_@;;

These can breed right? How does it work?
It's likely breeding will be available someday, but this is still going underway.

Is there furniture and stuff?
Unless it's built into the background, then no o.o;; The habitats are pretty much set as they are ^^; However, you may make suggestions for new habitats and we'll see what we can do X3
