Determining Donation Amount:
The main things I look for when donating are effort, thread design, and impressions.
1. Is this the questor doing almost everything they can to earn their item instead of just relying on donations?
2. Are they constantly bumping and keeping their thread alive hoping that someone sees it regardless of 'deadness'?
3. It is smooth and organized? Easy to find things and not crammed into one/two posts?
4. Are the posts seperated and show important information?
5. Does it include things appealing to the viewer's eye? (images and colors)
6. Does it look like they took their time on creating a layout? Designing?
7. Are they upkeeping on their updates? (Stats, gold count, etc.)
8. Do they take the time to add other things, like shops, mini gallery, fun facts, etc?
9. Does this person seem nice, deserving, not greedy? In whole, genuine?
10. Despite their own questing, do they take the time to help others? Give advice?
Has this person quested, item after item? Please Stop =/
Recycled Threads:
Here, at the KPC, prefarably do not like donating to users with recycled threads. (Changing the title and content from an old thread for a new quest) To me, it looks like you're taking advantage of the age and page numbers. People might pass by, see your thread, go,"Hey this person has been questing for a "long" time, I'll donate to the poor soul." =/ Don't be lazy, just make a new one. It'll be a fresh start.
When you make a quest thread, you should already have something towards it; not just make one and expect donations while you don't do much for earning yourself. You shouldn't have to resort to asking for donations from other charities until you really can't do it. And by this I mean, geez, try and fish, polling, post, run avi contests, make some kind of art/graphics, roam, etc! Heck, you can even play the market game D: There are ways to earn gold on Gaia.
Multiple People Quests in Same Thread:
This is completely fine as long as you're not using mules. Yes, I've have seen this before. It's sad what people do to get free gold and items. If I suspect something, I will be checking up on everything I can of those characters.
Multiple Item Questing:
*sighs* I can't stress how I dislike this. A quest is to go for something bigger, not a bunch of misc. items. Quest, not quests. Notice the plural? Ahahaha, I love the "Dtail, NM Minis, and Ports" threads. I consider that greedy. No, I don't consider it wrong to want more than one expensive item but c'mon, relax.
It all depends on how you go about this multi-item questing. If you earned most of the stuff yourself, then wow, that's good. One by one, as long as it's few and not that expensive >__>
"Well okay, I'm questing for NM Mini's but I want this other small stuff too. Is that okay?"
Your main focus should be the NM Mini's. If you really want them then why waste your gold and time on those other items? Leave them up there with your main items and poof, people will sometimes donate those to you right? Wow, what a wonderful way to get free stuff =D And what about your Minis? Well, you got some other items you wanted and meh, you're still questing for them anyway? Pfft. I don't really mind the smaller items being quested though. Like if it were a bunch of small items totalled under 30k, it's okay.
Fine, you wanna quest for more than one item? Okay, go for it. Our donation amount be will lowered. But it's not like it matters much right? We're only one small charity out of hundreds out there.
***Yes, we do allow multiple item questors and recycled threads. But as I mentioned before, the amount of a donation will be lowered because of it.
So bleh.
