A fun idea that I started in the feedback forum, and will continue in here. I would love to see candy's for gaians to hold, or have near/in their mouths.

Of course I"m talking about candy canes, lolly pops(the giant rainbow ones would be ideal), cotton candy,cookies, suckers, ice cream cones, and the like. Perhaps even a whole candy store.

The reason? To give gaians something inexpensive to hold on to other than cigarrettes. I would love to see gaians have candy on hand to help with their sweet tooth and give a fun and cheap alternative to cigs. This petition is made in the hopes that perhaps more gaians can indulge their sweet tooth and have something fun and inexpensive to hold in their hands.

Rules

1. Don't PM signatures to me. Signatures have to be in thread for two reasons. One is that I have something to show you signed it and I'm not just adding names, and two is because it helps bump the thread.
2. Don't quote the entire first post. Please just don't do it.
3. Don't use the banners to spam other threads. Banners are for your signature, please don't spam other people's threads with banners. I've already had two people complain about this, and I really do feel it's unfair to them.

Banners And Their Use
It's been drawn to my attention that some of the banners haven't been being used properly. I like to encourage people to be kind and considerate to others. Please feel free to use the banners in your signature, but please DO NOT spam other people's threads. It's inconsiderate and just plain rude really. I really thought I would never have to make a notation like this, but I recently recieved a complaint of people using the old banner to spam other people's threads. The point it not to piss people off, but to share the candy petition in journal, or in signature.

Update
Well, it seems I've exceeded the character limit in one post will all the signatures, so after careful consideration I've created a thread just to contain the signatures. If you wish to view the list of names you can find it Here.

I'll still try to keep the signature total up to date. ^_^ I'm glad we've recieved so much support in the year or more this petition has been running.

Update (12/29/06)
It looks like our petition has had some effect. Gaians are now able to get candy canes from one of the giftboxes in the caroling event for this year. ^_^ Thank you to the administration for the candy canes, and we hope to have more candy yet to come.

So who else believes this to be a good idea? Please voice your opinions for any candies I might have left out as well. ^___^

Hmm, this needs a catchy banner to help attract people to the cause.

I already put lopipops down in my first ideas, and they have the heart shaped assorted chocoates in a box already, but I put the other two ideas down with your name next to them for suggestions. ^_^
