This was something I have posted on the Change Mouth Bug Reports Thread, and now I have made the appropriate edits regarding new developments:


It seems we must acknowledge one of two things here:

Either

The administration is inefficient, and incapable of fixing (or rather adding) not simply what we have demanded, but what they assured us they intended to do

OR

The administration has been ignoring us, having no intention of ever realizing the promise they made to us.

Yes. Either they are morons or liars. That's right, you heard me.

Since they created this Frankenstein's Monster of "Mouth Options," robbing us of our Old Mouths; stripping us of a part of our identities here on Gaia; cheating us of something we relied upon; and this mess has effected some even further by changing their eye color as well--the problems have snowballed, escalated.

Initally, they seemed to have realized their error. Afterall, the very same day they heard our outcry, they heard our complaints, and they responded: they promised to give us back our Old Mouths with an Old Mouth Option.

But what has happened?

Have we gotten our Old Mouth Option?

No.

Have they fixed the other glitches?

No.

Have they returned everyone's eyes back to normal?

No.


But they have worked on the Giftwrapping, and Homes.

They have changed the Gaia Header.

They have added a daily chance.

They have added an unnecessary Gold counter alert.

They have added a story update (about damn time too).

They have updated the games.

[Edit] They have added bachelor caps for credits.

[Edit] They have added a voting system for topics.

[Edit] They have added new clothing to shops.

[Edit] They have updated Friend lists.

[Edit] They added MORE items to the shops.

[Edit] They added a new gaian banner.

[Edit] They improved the gold system.

[Edit] They added an invite system.

[Edit] They fixed Slots and Cards.

[Edit] They added a new Jigsaw game.






They have tried to distract us.

We asked to keep our Old Mouths the day they changed them.



Perhaps I should include the year--2006--because years may pass before they fix the problems they created. Years may pass before your eyes will be the color you once had. Years may pass before your clothing layers correctly. Years may pass before you can safely equiped your avatar without the fear of it no longer being the avi you'd made, loved, and chosen to represent yourself.

They heard our cries once. They recognized their mistake once. We must continue to have our voices heard!

We must not be distracted by the other additions to the site. We must not reliquish our freedom, our voice in a website what we the people support and keep running. We must be heard!

We must not be silent in the face of oppression! We must not be silent in the face of tyranny! We must shout! demand! act!

We must demand now, and continue to demand until we get--an OLD MOUTH OPTION!

I like my avies new stuff, and you can always get the old stuff back by deleting you character, can't you?

Actually, the new mouths work better for me, so. . . I really don't mind.
