A couple of days ago I had a rather strange dream. Usually I just forget about these things and move on. However, this one has stuck out more to me. It dealt with Gaia in a way and I feel compelled to share it.
It pretty much started out making no sense whatsoever until I found myself walking around outdoors. Everything seemed to be going fine on my merry walk, until a mysterious figure appeared infront of me. It seemed to be concealed in shadows.
When it appeared the suprise resulting from it's sudden appearance threw me off my feet. At this point the dream got a little blurry for a moment and didn't seem to have anything to do with anything. But eventually the dream moved me back to being on the ground gazing up at the figure. I went to move when it spoke!
"You have been selected to assist me!"
A loud voice called out. The dream started to go in crazy directions but I was able to gather a little bit of what was kinda happening in the dream.
Apparently The Sniper had been released into the real world. He was going to assasinate some popular public figure. The hitch was that if it happened our universe would be destroyed. Because, I guess people from alternate realities can't kill each other or it disrupts some balance and we all go boom.
Well I somehow was given all the characteristics of my avatar and had all the abilities that I had always imagined for it. My task was to go about the real world and collect fellow people to help take the sniper down. I was given a list of selected users to gather who happened to be nearly everyone on my friendlist.
So my dream had me actually track down one person. I found him in a alley way getting mugged, took out the mugger and told him if he helped he'd get all the abilities of what his avatar would have. He eventually agreed and the dream blurred a bit.
Until we ended up in some massive battle in the middle of some large city. I just remember a lot of people fighting him ontop of a rooftop. It seemed that a bunch of flamers and trolls were recruited by the other side to combat us and a massive battle ensued.
I woke up before the dream ended so I have no idea how it happens. I couldn't help but think up of possible endings myself. It was a pretty interesting dream, one that rarely comes around for me.
I just can't help but think what if that was to actually happen? Would we win or not and would we get to meet the other NPC's as well? Is my imagination to overactive? Oh there are far to many questions.
Hmm, do our NPCs dream? Do they ever dream about us going and trying to destroy their universe? ninja
