Since I le suck, quest thread is le starting. Revamping of character is also happening.

First I want to say that while this is a quest, this thread is not to beg for donations [though I won't say no], but for me to collect my thoughts on Antony and get constructive critism. Therefore you will not see a funds post anywhere in this thread, nor a donators list. I feel if I put those up I'm begging. D:

Blah blah blah. When it comes down to it all, I want an Island of Doctor Moreau, I lost the concept contest, and this thread was thusly born.

Ta da. I'm saving everyone the long speech on how great this and that are and how much I want it and why I should get it and why you should love me. Mostly because they end up sounding really self centered. D:

But yes, Island of Doctor Moreau is a breedable that I'd quite like, Moreau willing. Art coming soon, concept being tweaked.

Revamping personality, bear with please.

What Contest are you entering (in this post)? Combination

Character Name: Antoinette Devereux [She goes by Antony though.]

Character Appearance (Human): Antony catches looks wherever she goes, but not because she is beautiful by most opinions. Standing five foot five, she is curvy and voluptuous, but though she isn't skinny, she is not by any means overweight. Naturally she has mousey brown hair, but it hasn't been that color since middle school. She's gone through nearly every color that Crayola has produced (that she likes). Currently, her hair is short, spiky, and often messy. It's longer in the front, where a chunk over her right eye is bright blue, and behind her left ear to her neck is another chunk of color. This one is deep purple. The rest is dyed black. Her eyes are a dark blue that sometimes can appear dark violet.

As far as her tattoos are concerned, Antony has much of her skin covered in ink. This includes full arm sleeves, an original back piece, and a chest piece as well as several solitary tattoos scattered about her free skin. She also has a side lip piercing (right), an anti-eyebrow (left), and a tongue piercing among others in her ears. Behind her ink, she has fair skin and the occasional freckle.

Her sleeves are a mixture of biomech, floral, and fire/ice designs. Almost a yin yang ish deal.

Some dolls I doodled with today: Her hair would be a mix of the two almost, and ignore the blue stuff on the top. She'd be wearing a grummy white wifebeater, messy cause of her job with her father [she's a mechanic and tattoo artist].

I think the rest are self explanatory.

Her clothing style usually consists of black Dickies (suitable for both work places), a studded belt with a shark jaw belt buckle (it doubles as a bottle opener), and a wife beater or tank top of some sort. Shoes of choice are her favorite pair of Doc Martins. Also, she wears prescription, plastic black rimmed glasses (call them Emo and she'll beat you with a wrench.)

Character Personality: Surprisingly personable once you get to know her, Antony usually gives off the impression that she is a regular b***h. That's because she is very much capable of being one, and not feeling bad about it. She can be rude, vulgar, violent, and blunt. If she doesn't like someone, then they will know. However, Antony does give everyone she meets the luxury of a clean slate, despite the fact that she also figuratively gives them a permanent marker to write with. She holds grudges like no other and has a very long memory, but she respects those her deserve (aka earn) respect and those only.

However, if someone doesn't rub her the wrong way she is usually quite decent, though she may seem curt. Antony doesn't like to waste time, and enjoys being precise and effecient in both her lines of work. For the most part, she stays out of things unless she is dragged into them, or really drunk. In fact, she'd rather be working than dealing with other people's s**t. She doesn't care much if someone likes or dislikes her unless she herself respects them.

Her sense of humor is strange, her political views liberal and her opinions on religion crude.

If it isn't obvious upon meeting her, Antony is very creative and artistic as well as hard working and dedicated. She may have not been at the top of her class, but she has never missed a day's work for anything other than school and various holidays that she spent with her father. This does not mean that she doesn't have fun. In fact, Antony is quite a party girl if she wants to be, but only with her friends does she party, staying away from clubs and especially raves. Smoking and drinking are both hobbies that she is in quite control over, but has failed to give up.

She loves her jobs with a passion, as well as her father and few close friends that she has accumulated over the years. Therefore, despite the fact that she has very little free time to herself, she is always having fun, whether she be working, or insulting our president, the pope, or pop singers. Every day, no matter how routine, is an interesting experience.

Character Background: Antony doesn't really like to discuss her childhood, having never really known her mother, who died giving birth to her, and her father named her Antoinette after his wife. She was raised more like a son than a daughter, her father being a mechanic and not knowing much better. They weren't poor, but they definitely didn't live as comfortably as others did. Once Antoinette became old enough, around middle school age, she began helping her father in his shop and quickly became quite efficient at fixing cars, appliances, and other various broken machines. She had also discovered an amazing talent of being able to design things beautifully, and her father bought her a sketch book before her freshman year of high school.

By that time, Antoinette had begun dying her hair all sorts of strange colors and having it cut differently each time for fun. She easily fit in with the 'delinquent' crowd as far as looks were concerned, though her grades where much higher than that groups' usual barely passing stature. One day while changing in gym class, her friend called her Antony simply to see if it'd scare the popular girls, who believed Antoinette to be a raging lesbian, standing several feet away. After that the name stuck and the popular girls would no longer change in front of her in gym class. Antony had always found this quite amusing.

During high school, Antony was exposed to many friends having tattoos and piercings, and she immediately became interested in body modifications. She went to her father and asked him if he'd go with her so she could get her lip pierced. He obliged and the love of body mods only grew from then on out. By her senior year, Antony had already collected a decent number of tattoos and several other piercings.

Graduating high school with decent grades, Antony got accepted and attended a local college, where she took art classes on top of her requirement classes. She continued to work for her father to help pay for college. Soon she took on another job, becoming an apprentice at the most trusted tattoo and piercing parlor, where all of her tattoos had been inked.

College came and went, just like her virginity in high school, and she had soon graduated from there. By that time she had become a licensed, professional tattoo artist and piercer, thouh she enjoyed the former more. Piercings had come and goon as well, along with hair colors and styles. However, her tattoo collection had grown beyond two arm sleeves and a few scattered tattoos. At the time, she was in the middle of Owl, her boss, finishing up the line art of her custom back piece.

By the time she was in her late twenties, Antony's back piece was well beyond complete and her life had become rather routine. Work alternated between Owl's shop and her father's shop. Life was good, smoking and drinking hadn't killed her yet, and she could still pay the rent. Then one day she got word that her father had entered her in a raffle for an all expense paid trip to a remote island, and he had won�

How does your Character get to/why was your character chosen for the Island? She believes that she has won an all expense paid trip to and from the Island. Well she has, but the Island is definitely not what she expected.

What Animal(s)/Plant(s)/Dinosaur Serum do you want?: Black squirrel, European Red Squirrel, and albino squirrel.

Describe your ideal 100% appearance: A mix of white, red, and black fur that may even follow the large tribal work on her back. The big bushy squirrel tail with the mix of black, red, and white of course. I wouldn't be surprised if she'd continue to dye her fur [the white parts] different colors as well as her hair. She'd keep her ear piercings if possible, but not her anti-eyebrow or lip. Squirrel teeth, muzzle, and hind legs much to her displeasure, as well as the body/bone structure. Most of this would be up to the artist because I'm horrible at anthro design. I'd probably want her eyes to be one albino [red] and the other staying blue/violet. Oh, and she'd get shorter.

Why this animal/plant for your character?: Well my character is from Maryland, close to Washington D.C., which has a squirrel and pigeon population that exceeds many cities. That and squirrels are awesome, especially the black and albino ones. That and squirrels can be mean ******** if you piss them off.

What do you think really makes this concept? I feel that the population of body modified characters in the RP world is far too low, much less the occurrence of professional body modifiers in the RP world. Just doing my part to diversify the Island.
