Yes, i know i owe people letters. itll have to wait, but youll get them.

1/13/05- At long last, I've sent out for the restore disk for my computer yesterday, so i should have my computer back in a few days, if all goes well in the shop.


Some other date- Well, two days after i got it back. my computers in the shop again. Not ony did the sysm pack 2 for windows destroy it, but theres some deeply imbedded spyware on it- it needs to have the OS wiped and reinstalled. This means several things.

For one, all of my programs will be gone. This includes my non-too legally obtained copy of photoshop, which i use to do ALL of my breedables work. The files for the kuri and jellies will all still be there, but until everything is backed up and my comp restored, i cant access them. I'm terribly sorry about this mess...especially about the secret santa kurimundi. Many of them are done, but just cant be sent out because i dont have access to the files.

Thank you all for your paitence on this..I shall try to get due pets out as soon as possible, but it all depends on how fast they can repair the computer and get it back to me.

Special Jelly Event

10/17/04- after several weeks of nothing, three of the missing letters finally arrived 3nodding
I think there was a bit of confusion as to Dai-kun' being the name on the address, as one of the letters had a "return to sender- no longer at this address" thing stamped on the back. I guess when they got enough of 'em they gave up and put them in my box ^^; The three letters received were from Milli, Slai, and Jynk. They were all full of nice letters and little fanarts and such X3!!! *was very excited upon opening box* I'll have to scan some stuff you guys have been sending (and i shall be writing thank you notes, either through the mail or through PMs n.n). Glee!

As you may have already realized, I enjoy hosting all sorts of strange contests and sales- today I had a nifty new idea that I think'll be lots of fun :3

In this event, i'll be giving away one of Kuro and Tortillia's babies- a cute likkle eggeh n.n It's the method of entering the drawing that's the interesting part. Only entries sent via snail mail will be considered! Thats right- the entrants will be sending me letters n_n

I felt sort of left out with everyone in my dorm getting all kinds of mail in their boxes, so I figgured 'Hell, why not give people a reason to send me mail too? > wink '. I intend on doing this sort of contest on a bi-monthly basis, so if anyone's letters dont make it in time, you can be put in the next drawing!! Fun fun!

So. Heres how it works~

1. You send a PM to Muraki-sensei requesting my box address.
2. Once you receive the address, send a stamped envelope to that location with a letter inside. It doesn't have to be about anything in particular, but must contain at least one paragraph of hand-written or typed text razz Fanart may score you bonus points X3 MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR GAIA NAME SOMEWHERE INSIDE!
3. Notify me via a PM to Muraki-sensei that you have sent your letter- this is to get an idea of how many I should expect n.n
4. At a later date, I'll gather all the letters I received and pick one person to get Kuro's baby :3 The deadline has been changed to November 10th. I will not move this date again. >< *kicks crappy university mail system* If your letter doesnt arrive by the cutoff point, i'll add it in the next mail drawing ~_^!

There aren't many, but I ask that you kindly follow them when in this thread..or I'll sick the jellies on you domokun

1. Do not PM unless absolutely necessary. I dont mind answering questions, but make sure to read throughily and post here before you resort to PMing.
2. Make love, not war. Keep arguing to a minimum and take the fighting outside.
3. No sticky fingers. With the exception of the little blue border of the jelly box (which is obviously © Gaia), I made this art myself- do not use it without permission.
4. Pull up a chair and stay a while. Yep. thats a rule whee I like to see the faces of those who buy from me for more then the few minutes it takes to buy a jelly. Stick around, lurk, be merry, maybe join the jelly guild. The jellies love company, and so do I.
5. Jellies are not gaurenteed to be a interactive pet. jellies were created to sit and be cute- over time they evolved into something I have fun with, move around, play with. But you are not buying a pet that will move every so often or is gaurenteed to do anything but sit there. If you're active in the thread, your jelly may be active too. If not, it probably wont be. Interaction is a privelage, not a right.

Information



Ichikura jellies are small, unusual little creatures- their bodies are soft and smooth (not slimy), often partly see-through. They are also genderless; breeding can occure between any two jellies. Possessing no limbs, they move mainly by rolling or shimmying across the ground. They can also jump short distances, and some can secrete a sticky substance that allows them to cling to vertical surfaces, or even ceilings. They can, however, mold heir bodies into various shapes or create psudopods (tentacles) whith which to move or interact with their environment. When threatened, they are capible of releasing a highly corrosive acid which is quite painful to the touch. Jellies are nearly impossible to kill, as they can reform after being cut into small pieces and are immune to magic and drowning.

The jellies are usually friendly, though- they love company and enjoy being carried on their owner's person. In the wild, they live in large groups and are quite social. Both loyal and curious, it is not uncommon to see an ichikura jelly owner being followed by his or her charges for extended amounts of time, the jelly rolling after it's companion without tiring, resting on their shoe, or 'gaurding' them while they sleep.

Your ichikura jelly will be given to you in a small habitat that is just the right size for a fully-grown adult. The way you decorate this habitat and interact with your jelly determines it's happiness. On the meter, red is unhappy and green is happy. When your jelly's meter is all the way full and it is an adult, it will start to glow- this means your jelly can't be any happier and is ready to mate X3 Also, it's rumored that exposing a happy ichikura to certain potions can have very interesting effects...

Note: Some habitats are not available for the big box (dawn/dusk, night) while other habitats will be exclusive to it (crystal cave, pirate ship...did i say that out loud? ninja ) and unavailable in the smaller boxes. The default habitat is the sunny meadow.

Well, you asked for it, and here it is o_o Obviously not sig friendly, but wow, you could sure fit a lot of jellies in there X0!!!

~ 1k if you're upgrading from a villiage, large box, or large box with extensions
~ 1.5k if you do not already own any large boxes

*also* If you like, a sig-friendly mini jelly box consisting of one small box (no inventory) with your jellie's name on it and background of your choice (you must already own the background) can be made for 100g. This jellie will NOT move, as its actually just a photo of your jellie in one of it's compartments ~_^

Notes:
- jellies can breed when they are very happy and their meter starts to glow blue
- any two jellies may breed, even if they refer to themselves as being the same gender
- breeding costs 1k
- breedings result in 2-4 eggs
- you may decide what to do with the babies, but if you sell/auction/raffle them, 30% of proceeds come back to the shop
- both parents must agree to the breeding
- If youd like a special "omg jellies in luv awwww" picture of the two jellies being cute, yu may order one for 600g X0
