The girl sighed as they continued on towards the Citadel in the middle of the city, "There's the Crimson Diamond, the Emerald Diamond, the Turquoise Diamond, and the Opal Diamond. The other two, which have yet to be found, are the White Diamond and the Black Diamond. The White Diamond is said to hold healing powers, while the Black Diamond is said to contain destructive magic." Finally, they arrived at the Citadel. "Our leader Basmondra wishes to see you." She gestured through the door, and Kimina walked through, holding Raine's hand. The grand hall was beautiful. It seemed more like a palace than a fortress.

" Wow.. It' so beautiful... Alive.. Nothing like it was back there.... I wonder though... If Those Aruthians get the Black Diamond First, Can't they destroy this place? And I wonder if we could use any of those Diamonds to get home... I hope Basmondra is a understanding person..." Raine said, Gripping Kimina's hand tighter.

Kimina patted Raine's hand. "Don't worry, no matter what happens, I'll always protect you." They continued up the stairs, and through a pair of large doors. The room they entered was a large office, with huge windows overlooking the city. "Ah, I've been expecting you two." The lady at the desk at the far end of the room said. "It's a shame you came at such a bad time. We're currently at war with a very evil power." She browsed through the books on the shelves, studying them carefully. "I know this is a bit of a rush girls, although you just got here, we've been expecting you for quite some time." She turned to face Kimina. "Wh..what?" Kimina stammered. Basmondra simply chuckled. "Yes, I am well aware of your little dimentional travels. You see girls, we've been expecting two heroines to appear, and lead our people to a peaceful era." She closed the book she held. "And those two heroines are you."

((This is where the eventual Kimina riding into battle thing comes into play.))

Raine's eyes widened. " H.. Heroines..? What do you mean? We're just school girls... All of that dimentional stuff was because of My Sister... We can't be heroines!" She said, Confused. " First Goddesses, Now Heroines!? What next? " Raine said, shaking her head. " This cant be right...Um.. Ms.Basmondra.... Why do you think we are the heroines...?"

Basmondra smiled, placing her hand on top of Raine's head. "You both have the look of a warrior. If I know correctly, you've also seen bloodshed. Additionally, you've fought before. I know this is a lot to ask of you two, but we need as many officers as we can get. Please understand." She looked over at Kimina, who just stood there, silent.

Raine jumped slightly as Basmondra put her hand on her head. " Indeed we've fought, seen bloodshed... And Even though this seems tough, I will fight.... We've been in worse situations... " Raine said, thinking of The Past battles. " I will help... " She looked over at Kimina, a pleading look in her eyes.

Kimina looked over at Raine, with sadness in her eyes. You could tell she did not want to see any more deaths, but it was inevitable. "We should get you two down to the barracks." Basmondra said, as two young soldiers came in. They couldn't have been much older than 20, but they had a look of duty, and were clearly veterans of this war. "Please come with us." The one said to them. Kimina nodded, and followed them out with Raine close by.

Raine felt terrible. She had agreed to fighting in the war without getting Kimina's opinion. " I'm sorry Kimina.. I should have asked you first.." Raine said, feeling like a jerk. " I only said that because I only focused on what I wanted to do...." Now , Thinking about it, The thought of being in another left threatening war made her wish she would have thought twice.

Kimina turned to Raine, but there was no anger in her eyes, just disdain. "I know Raine, but we have no choice now. It's been presented to us, and now these people need us. The least we can do is help them in their hour of need." As they continued down the corridors, they finally entered the Barracks. Various women were conversing, sparring, getting changed into armor. The room soon got quiet as the two girls entered the room. Kimina looked back behind her, but the guards were already gone. Everyone was looking at them, with interest. "Uh....hello." Kimina said quietly. One girl came forth, and this girl could not have been more than 18 years old. "Who are you two?" She wore a green leather vest, and stood before them, defiantly.

" Um.. We are... Raine and Kimina... The so called Heroines... " Raine said nervously, stepping infront of Kimina. " Um.. Who are you..? She asked, stepping behind Kimina now.

The girl smirked, looking at them with a sense of unimpression. "They call me Tomoki. So you mean to tell me that you two are our so-called chosen ones? You look like you'd faint at the mere sight of blood." Her arrogance was starting to raise Kimina's ire. "I'll have you know that we've seen more than our share of hell." She still had a clear memory of her combat skills, and knew everything she had from her previous struggle to save Raine. "Oh really? You two haven't even seen the horrors of our land. I've seen friends burned alive, faces scratched off, my own sister gored..." The girl hung her head for a second. "And they expect us to take commands from two dainty girls?"

Raine couldnt tell whether to be mad at the rude comments, or be sad because of the sad ones. " Tomiki-chan, we've seen blood. And We never fainted. We fought through hell, proving ourselves. We have been through alot, for two school girls... And if you want to be arrogant, fine. Be like that. But I wont put up with it."

Despite Raine's slight irritation, Kimina remained calm. "You don't believe we can handle a sword or anything, do you Tomoki?" She stood there, defiantly in front of Tomoki. "Of course I don't. Look at you, your skin is soft and smooth looking. Some of us have battle scars, while you're in perfect condition. You're not fit to lead us, and you don't impress me one bit." Kimina's anger was rising. "I'd refrain from the insults if I were you." Tomoki simply smirked. "Oh what are you gonna do about it girl? You probably fight like a weakling." She finally snapped. Kimina backhanded the girl in the face, causing her to stagger. The other girls gasped and moved away slightly. "I will not take insults from an arrogant b***h like yourself! You have no idea what we have been through!" The girl regained composure and stared daggers back at Kimina.

Raine stared at what just happened. " K.. Kimina...Take it easy there..." She reluctantly put a hand on Kimina's shoulder. " Let her make insults. I'm sure everybody here has been through alot too.. And Maybe her wounds healed..." Raine wanted them to stop fighting. This wasnt going to go good. Raine felt the many eyes of the girls and shuddered slightly. " Nngh.."
