_________________Lucas noticed that Melody's eyes were changing hues. It became a very vivid pink, a shade of it that he had never seen before. What ever kind of creature she was, she was a rare and interesting one.
_________________The winged boy furrowed his brow when she started to laugh. He pondered what came to her as amusing or humorous. He saw nothing funny, that was for sure. Hundreds of years ago, when he was a child, laughing out of turn was considered tremendously rude... unless they were of royalty. Then everyone else would laugh as well. However, Melody did not occur to him as an upperclass person.
_________________When she said that it was nice to meet him, he replied politely, "Pleasure is all mine" through gritted teeth. It was a bit unconventional when meeting her at first: her bumping into him from the back, being in the same dormitory with her and her stench, and then her giggling at something which made him paranoid.
_________________Then she said, "I'm half a Vampire and half a Demon." This came as a shock to him.
_________________"Yes, it is a bit ... queer," he said and bit his tongue lightly. The last interaction he had with a demon was not a good one. Yet he wondered how someone from the afterlife had a child with a creature without a soul. Perhaps because they were both immortal. Yes, that was it. It was humans that their contact was not possible, though vampires and humans could touch ... they were their prey, after all. When Melody gave a conspicuous smile, he shuddered slightly. Her fangs made him more uncomfortable than before and he turned away briefly. It is not that they were bad; having a demon as a room mate just made him uncomfortable, and to be blatantly honest, prejudice. Angels and demons were not the best of friends immediately, or ever. He even saw her strange eye color changes.

"I am so high and I am never coming down."

Melody's chipper mood instantly died down when Vitari replied to her comments through gritted teeth. It seemed that he didn't like her...She didn't know why. She didn't know what she had done, and all of this was confusing her so much. She blinked in slight confusion as she let her smile fade into a sad look. "I'm sorry if I did anything to make you mad..." she whispered quietly, without meeting his eyes and staring at the floor. "I have a feeling you don't like me very much..." she said with a small sad smile. "I can change rooms if you want..." she highly doubted this was possible, and she knew that it might trouble her greatly to do so, seeing as she would once again end up alone without a friend to be there for her. She frowned and clung to the end of her shirt. Her legs were shaking slightly as she talked and stared at the floor. Her eyes had lost all of their spark.
Unfortunately, Melody's mood could be very unpredictable. From one second to the other, she could be happy, and the next, she could be feeling depressed and hating herself for something she though was her fault. The small girl sniffled but just walked to her bed and grabbed her phone. She already had her i-pod in her short short's pocket and the headphones hung around her neck. Those were the two things she needed to distract herself.
Melody wasn't exactly the brightest person out there, but she was good at reading people's body language. Most of the time anyway. "I-i'll be back later..." she murmured before giving him a quick goodbye bow and walking out the door. She of course had her dorm key in her pocket, and she didn't think she'd get lost. But she decided to go ask for yet another map from the front office. The kind receptionist gave her another one with a warm knowing smile, and Melody thanked her with a nod. She didn't feel like talking at the moment.
Soon, Melody found herself outside the school and she walked towards a big grassy area with a lot of shade, provided by huge beautiful trees. She plopped herself down on the ground and leaned against a tree. Her headphones still remained on her neck, but she decided to play some music anyway, she'd just have to play it a bit louder so she could hear it clearly. She pressed play and "Burn the Night Away" by ThereForTomorrow began pouring out of the headphones. A small smile took over her lips as she allowed herself to lean her head against the tree as well and close her eyes. She hoped that she wouldn't be left alone in that huge dorm once more, and that was the last thing that crossed her mind before falling into a deep sleep, not realizing that the bell would ring in about half an hour.

"Excuse me miss could I give you a hand? You seem to be having some... difficulties with your luggage."
Melusina looked up from her flowers to see who had spoken. A boy with long fuzzy ears had asked her a question. She looked around to make sure that it was really her he was inquiring to.
Oh! Just like the boy from before with the wings, he's also different. I wonder what animal he takes after, those ears look really soft too. Melusina thought to herself. She noted how much taller he was compared to her own 5'2", he was probably as tall as her father.
Melusina noticed she was thinking to herself too much, she'd forgotten that he had asked her if she needed any assistance. She stood up quickly and bowed her head slightly in apology. She was embarrassed that she once again let herself become distracted.
"I'm sorry, I was lost in thought for a moment. Thank you for your graciousness, but I can handle it. I don't want to inconvenience you, you have your own bag to carry. Although I would be happy if I could make your acquaintance! My name is Melusina and I am in dorm room 204." Melusina plucked a yellow wild flower from her bouquet and offered it to the stranger, delighted to have been able to meet another kind person so early in the day.
Melusina waited for the boy to accept the flower, and smiled happily to encourage him. She was excited at how well the day was starting already.

xxxxxxIt took Laure a moment or two to realize she was on the ground. Pulling herself to a standing position, she followed Souhait into the art room to see another student had already walked in. She glanced at the student, then to Souhait.
'.. Oh, The supplies..'
xxxxxxWithout any hesitation, Laure began to pull open the cabinets, taking out a paint bottle and some brushes from time to time, before she pulled open the closet, half burying herself as she dove into the bunches of art supplies, digging, and pulling out more supplies and placing them out in front of the door so she wouldn't mix them up.
"Oi, You there." She called to the student who had been sketching the whole time. "Do me a favor? Can you put the bottles I took out and put them into a bag or something?" Of course, Laure could have called out to Souhait, but she figured she probably had worked up the girl enough, after crashing into her then falling on top of her and all.
xxxxxx[/color]Motioning to the girl about a basket she happened to notice by the door, Laure began putting back the stuff she had pulled out, but didn't need, into the cabinets and the closet. The room looked a bit dirty after she had dug through everything, But in her own way, Laure thought the room looked better in a sense. It had a less tight feel to it, and the little things that made it unorganized made the room feel, to her, more like home and less in a classroom like environment. Laure scribbled a note adressed to who veer the art teacher was, explaining why she had taken the stuff, and where the teacher could contact her.
"Room, 2-0-1, Laure-Marie.."She spoke out each word, putting the pen down on the paper, then looked to Souhait one more time, before looking at the girl she had asked earlier. "Is everything in it?"
