Charlotte turned when she heard somebody come in the room. She squealed to see her brother, but stared at the girl. It was her roommate... the girl from earlier. She walked up to the girl -- how much taller the girl was than Charlotte -- and smiled. "Are you going to stay this time?" She asked, ignoring her older brother for a bit.

Naomi smiled and looked down at the girl,
she was like a teddy bear! She nodded
"Yeah..sorry for just leaving...I wanted to
go to the library" She rubbed her head and
then laughed softly.

two were related" She said sighing. "Your
brother is mad at me because im smarter

Charlotte smiled and nodded. Then she laughed, and shrugged. "Figures. Christopher is like Poindexter and Vin Deisel mixed together." She said, smiling a little. She flinched back from his glare. "This is why I didn't come rushing to see you, Charlotte." He said, the glare menacing, but Charlotte could see a bit of a smile. She was still a bit scared. She looked back to Naomi. "So, you're taking the top bunk?" She asked in a small voice, trying not to peak at her brother.

care...I just put my stuff somewhere
and the closest place was the top bunk"
She smiled" Why...? Do you want it?" She
asked. "oh and if he gives you a hard time

Charlotte laughed, then shook her head. "It doesn't matter. Shea wants the single bed, and I bet your feet would dangle off the edge of the bed if you got bottom bunk, so I'll have bottom. Unless you really want it!" She said, smiling a little, looking down a little to the "punishing" comment.

Naomi shrugged. "Ok...I guess i'll take it then"
She said sighing. Then she looked at her brother.
She walked over to him and poked him. "Don't mess
with your sister Christopher or i'll get you" She said
laughing a little. "Now thats my job! Just joking!!"

Christopher raised his eyebrows. He smiled a little. "Please, don't take all the fun out of being an older brother. It's my job to mess with her! Besides, she doesn't take offense, do you Charlie-Bear?" He asked, looking at her, and she turned and put her cello case in the closet, far off in the back of the closet. He just laughed. Inside, he couldn't believe that Charlotte would bring her cello. He loved hearing her music.

Shea`s blood went into a lava-like state, almost boiling through her skin, as the nerd-girl walked into the room with Charlie`s brother. Then, Shea looked at the brother, and her stomach flipped. She was in the same room as him! Her pale cheeks became spekled with a bright pink blush, and she nervously pushed her hair behind her ear, then pulled it back out again, as she often did when she was nervous. She silently listened to the diolouge go on, finding out the boy`s name was Christopher, and he was smart -- and did sports. Now, that was unusual. But she didn`t care. She thought he was unique. Like her. She smiled at the sound of his laugh, and lightly tapped Charlie`s waist with her own and smiled at her, then stepped forward a bit.

"Hey there..." Shea said, holding out her hand shyly, "I`m Megan Peterson. But call me Shea, please. You`re Charlie`s brother? How cool! Maybe that means I`ll get to see more of you." She winked, then laughed, as if her attempt at flirting was just a joke. She stared nervously at Christopher, examining his expressions, and slightly glaring at Naomi behind him. Shea then smiled brightly back at Christopher, her cheeks a bit pinker.

Christopher smiled at Megan and held out his hand. He shook hers. "Yes, Shea, I am Charlotte's brother. You probably will be seeing more of me, that is, if you and Charlotte become friends, anyway." He added as a side note, looking at his watch. He was going to be late for a sports team meeting! He looked at Naomi, then Shea. "Well, I am sorry girls, but I must be going to a team meeting. I hope I get to see you girls later, and if not, I'm sure we can arrange something." He said in a rush, mussing up his sister's hair before walking out and to the classroom.

Charlotte looked at her brother as he left the room, then turned back to her cello case. She adjusted it so that it wouldn't fall, then made sure to cover the case with all her suitcases, and she shut the closet door. "So, anything special you ladies would like to do today?" She asked, smiling. She had a lot of things to unpack, but Charlotte had all day for that! She thought that maybe she should start bonding with her roommates.... or the school term would be quite terrible.

Megan looked between her roommates -- one who was a very good friend and one whom she was coming to despise -- and smiled at Charlie, walking to her bed and pulling out her favorite book, flopping on it. "Naw, you two go ahead. I want to finish this book." Shea smiled, holding up the book that read, Cirque du Freak: Sons of Destiny. The book was worn out, like it`d been read over and over and over again. Shea flipped open the book. Some of the pages were crinkled, or ripped, or had dog ears, or had little doodles in them. or were highlighted, or were circled. She settled into the middle of the book, smiling as she read. This was one of her favorites in the entire twelve book series.

Charlotte frowned. Her eyes got big, and her eyebrows pulled together. "But... you can't just sit here and read. We should all get to know each other better. I think it would be better if we all hung out. You know... meet some people around school. Please?" She asked softly, looking at Megan.

Shea stood and, reluctantly, folded down the flap of the book so she could continue reading it later. She pulled on her thin jacket, and grabbed her keys and her phone, walking next to Charlie grudgingly. "Fine, fine," Shea said, then chuckled, "But only because I want to see some of the hot guys."
