My thing is her lack of intelligence. There are certain things dumb girls shouldn't do, if only to save humanity from their obnoxious whining. Like those porn actors and actresses who were trying to get sympathy because "OMG we got HIV" and they blamed the studios for it, when the studios do enough with the insisted disease testing and quarantining of actors who test positive. "But they don't follow their rules and threaten to fire us!" FIND A NEW DAMN JOB! Are you telling me your only usable talent is on your back and knees? Can you not balance a serving tray? But I forgot, a lot of these people think they're too good for average jobs. That's why they'll put their bodies through so much stress; with the hope that it'll make them 3 mil on one video.

Prostitution is a lazy man's game. And since it's not only illegal, but unregulated, the payout is not worth the danger.

That's another thing I will never understand, how is waiting tables or any other 9-5 job demeaning, yet acting spoiled and subjecting yourself to constant ridicule isn't?

They make their money then act surprised it doesn't last. Seriously, more and more would-be mothers need to start swallowing.

And now I'm going to back the ******** out of this thread, because the level of slut-shaming and other bullshit from the ******** REGS is intolerable. I'm sincerely and unpleasantly surprised by the level of ignorance I've seen in this thread from people I consider friends.

Women have enough s**t to deal with without other people (women especially) coming in and judging them for their choices in life. I don't give a damn if you don't like what they do, that's not an excuse for you to go dog-pile on them and call them a bunch of nasty s**t. You should be better than that.

Porn is an excessively abusive industry, and the women who go through it often can't get out with stigma. This isn't their fault, it's the fault of people who stigmatize porn actresses (and yeah, we don't stigmatize male actors in porn because, y'know, men).

Here's an article about why people can't just "leave" the porn industry. Educate yourselves before you go off and judge people. For ******** sake.

As for your other post, people make their choices, thats up to them. No, the porn industry isn't something that is easily gotten out of. Except my observations aren't 'for judgement's sake', its based directly on interaction with a woman who professed all throughout highschool she would use her body and looks to make it and that she didn't need to worry about her grades because again, and she said, 'they have to let me in because im a hot piece of a**'. Word per word.

I'll be just as harsh to a male with the same mentality. I'm sorry, but someone who knowingly and willingly makes the choice to use their body/looks to get by because a regular job is beneath them, and some of them do profess that, I have no sympathy for them. Others who were coerced or no choice, yes, they garner my sympathy. The arrogant ones like my classmate? Nope. In the end, woman like her also make it bad for the rest of women tryin to go through things.

Did anyone wind up checking out her Project:Hindsight? That was definitely an interesting read as she couldn't even finish past New Moon. In one way, it kind of makes me happy when I see that I'm not the only one who couldn't finish the books because of things. In another way, I feel embarrassed that I got as far as I did after forcing myself to do so.

I get it was mostly as a dare that my ex made with me to try to actually change my mindset while I was in college. The actual dare was, whomever had the worst grades would have to read the books. I wound up dropping out that semester though I tried to keep that promise. But 75 pages is all I got to and when I tried to read it while going to a tournament for pool, I learned I accidentally grabbed Eclipse and that I was 2 hours from home, halfway to the location and we left for vacation immediately after we were eliminated from the bracket. So, I stopped there five years ago. I've yet to pick it up again.

I suppose that it made me happy to see anyone say that they didn't finish past any chapter because of the hatred I have with some of the material. Like I've stated. I hate the material. The idea was good, but I kinda wish that Bella would have been food, not a friend. Or since we knew that she'd become a vampire eventually, why not just let her turn? That was completely stupid, even if it was meant to be one of those things to show turning her being a labor of love. -_-

A good twist would be if the venom didn't magically fix everything. Oh, you spine broke during birth? We should have changed you earlier!! But then Emmett wouldn't have been saved I think, that or he would have been covered in maul scars... actually maul scars would make him even more awesome.

I agree, the "magic venom" thing ticked me off as well. "We're gonna shoot you up with glitter to make you a monster, but you'll look fabulous after you experience a shitload of pain~" Then again, it'd make for their biggest plothole to have a neigh impossible birth. I'd be happy, but Jacob wouldn't be able to imprint on one of Bella's eggs that could have just as easily been a Joseph or Jack instead of Renesmee had the wrong sperm hit the egg.

I think Emmett in maul scars would be badass! Something about a brawler type not looking pristine makes more sense than making him a pretty boy in some cases.

Dooooooon't care. There are plenty of stupid careers that I will judge. You're totally free to judge me for that, but you'll never get me to feel guilt.

I challenge you to show me a statistic about men. You ever think it would be too awkward for one man to bring that up to another? And if the demographic for the majority of porn IS men, then it's naught oft to be brought up. It's not so much a double standard as not wanting to admit that you saw your buddy in a rather awkward position. You're blaming me because women are catty, when I cared nothing for the men also in the HIV whine fest. They knew what they were getting into. The stories are notorious.

Or a fun fact that a lot of people don't know. Male expectations are incredibly unrealistic. The number of fake dildos they have for men is... for lack of a better word creepy. Gabriel Iglesias in his 2012 special talks about working on the scene of Magic Mike and for some of they guys they needed a little assistance. One of the directors/producers/someone called a friend in the porn industry and they got a giant BOX full of... rubber. He described as they all opened a box and played around with them like floppy light sabers. And they found the biggest, most intimidating one for one of the male dancers. Can't remember the name because I've never actually seen Magic Mike... I might though. Around all the male action I've heard it's pretty good.

This is probably out of left field, but I also feel LGBT is involved. Like, shifting over into prostitution, there are a lot less men, also due to the mainly male demographic. (Take the news article from last year about rich Chinese women traveling to Thailand to meet up with gigolos. That surprised a lot of people) We still have huuuuuge amounts of violence against gay people just for being who they are, so it's only natural that there would be so few a-workin' on the streets, thus it's mainly a woman's profession by default. I wonder sometimes if it would even out if prostitution was legalized and regulated.
