▌▌███ ▌▌Kera Lyrais
3rd-in-command

Of course she wasn't going to find anything in her bag. It's not like there was some paper distributed, if anything, for she would have noticed, and plus, that seemed like a stupid idea, to say the least. Kera sighed, resigning from her bag searching, and decided her best bet would be to rely on her instincts. Maybe the mission would come to her. She could most likely figure it out on her own. In her thoughts, she had not noticed the guards at the palace doors, and so, when they spoke to her, she jumped a bit, face turning red. "Oh..oh," She stammered, embarrassed while she fastened her bag over her shoulder. They inquired, asking if she wished to see Empress Mai, and she found herself nodding before the second guard spoke, stating that she was gone for a festival.
Kera frowned, exhaling dazedly. Well, what now? She should have known there was a festival going on... why, in the mood she was in, she quite frankly would almost head over there herself, it sounded like fun. However, again her question went answered. The same guard mentioned something about the empress' adviser, and again she nodded wordlessly, unable to make her mouth and throat form coherent sounds. She dipped her head in thanks towards the guards as they escorted her through the castle, and she couldn't help but gape in awe. It was so large and beautiful, her breath was taken away. The sight soon ended, and she found herself in the middle of a confrontation between and young man and a very... modern looking teenager. A sigh escaped her soft pink lips as she studied the boy. Great. Did the boss know about this?
The young man who seemed to be in charge was gawking at the modern boy's pokeballs, and despite the fact that she was supposed to lay low, she couldn't help but step in. "It's a pokemon capture device... a modernized version of apricorns... I'm assuming you've heard of them? Apricorns can be broken open, and their cores used for such purposes, you know..." Her tone was soft and curious, and she spoke so quietly she was unaware if she had been heard. A moment later, the young man seemed to notice her for the first time, and as they were led into the conference room, Kera could not help but glance towards the modern boy. Now, what was she to do?
She politely sat on the sidelines while he spoke, but as he did so she grew troubled. While she herself wasn't out-right supportive of every team she'd been with, she wouldn't necessarily deem Team Catastrophe as evil, even if the name implied such, and while the boy did not state such a notion, it was clearly implied. Morning leapt from her shoulder just as the boy finished speaking, and Kera rested a hand by her side, wishing for Azure, before she spoke. She noticed her espeon, Morning, as the pokemon strolled elegantly up to the young man and modern teenager, acting as if she owned the whole kingdom. The seventeen year old couldn't help but smile at that as she spoke, gently probing the boy without outright revealing her occupation. "But if their goal is to save your time, as well as this one, why would you oppose it, if they are working for the well-being of pokemon? Wouldn't that make you the evil one, or merely confused? Are pokemon mistreated in your time?" She pressed, hand hovering the place where Azure would be, if she were not inside of her pokeball. The girl felt uneasy without her graceful partner by her side. "I myself hold my partners with equality to myself. Pokemon are sacred, they should not be abused, even if so by a small number of people." She smiled thinly. Kera was dangerously close to hinting at her involvement with the team, but she figured they would figure it out anyways. Hopefully she could sway this modern teenager before that. "Perhaps... has your leader even informed you of exactly what sort of trouble this team will cause, if any? It appears to me that they mean only the well-being of pokemon." kera held the modern boy's gaze a moment longer before looking away, signalling her espeon to return by her side, and she kneeled, running her finger's through it's soft fur. "Just a thought," She said calmly, shrugging.
