character name⋮⋮ Gregory Stone stage name⋮⋮ Gore, though the few devoted fans the band's earned so far often go for Greg instead, as that's his general nickname age⋮⋮ Twenty-seven
blurb⋮⋮ Greg became interested in punk music back in his teens, shifting in and out of garage bands with friends and schoolmates. Some of those friends gave him his stage name of Gore, a joke based on the last syllable of his first name. Greg grew up, graduated with a Bachelor's in Marketing, and worked corporate jobs for a few years. While bass guitar remained as a hobby, few people who saw him in his business gear would have guessed. A few years down the road, though, one of his old friends started up a band again, and Greg joined. They gained a little bit of local fame before breaking up, and Greg found himself looking for a new gig instead of letting his skills fade to the background again. He joined Flawed Hypnosis under this mentality. With their current rise and the promise of an international market, he lost his corporate looks, quit his business career, and decided to throw hope into what he'd always loved best. It was the biggest risk he'd ever taken.
Onstage, "Gore" can put out an intense vibe as needed, suiting his stage name, and has a methodical devotion to his bassist skills. Offstage, anyone who knows him just calls him Greg. Despite his stage name and intense appearance, he's laid-back and non-confrontational when not in the limelight. It can make him a great person to bounce ideas off of, but not the best person to solve a conflict or try to delve into an unwilling person's emotions: if they don't want to talk about it, then drop it.
Greg's bassist skills are more self-taught than professional, but he can often be found picking at his guitar's strings in his free time, always trying to improve. He's never sought any sort of leader or managerial position in the band - he left those pursuits in the last cubicle he occupied - but he is still decent with business and finances if needed.

personality Onstage, "Gore" can put out an intense vibe as needed, suiting his stage name. He's known for what his old friends called the "Gore glare:" all that concentration and losing himself in the performance translate into a focused stare (or smirk depending on the tone of the song). But despite that and his appearance, "Greg" is laid-back and non-confrontational when not in the limelight. Even the band's few devoted fans that have spent enough time backstage often end up calling him Greg. His bassist skills are more self-taught than professional, but he can often be found picking at his guitar's strings in his free time, always trying to improve. It's hard for him to turn down any invitation to jam or practice with other musicians. He's never sought any sort of leader or managerial position in the band - he left those pursuits in the last cubicle he occupied - but he is still decent with business and finances if needed.
He tries to take life with a casual calmness, usually up for spur-of-the-moment ideas (within reason). Long-term plans can be made, but he doesn't like to be over-prepared for life. It changes too fast; he prefers to adapt when needed. He's fine being in a group of people, whether or not any attention is on him; chatter seems to be his version of white noise. It's rare to see him wanting privacy except for the bathroom or when he's particularly tired. He can develop casual friendships quickly: closer ones, less often. Greg can be a great person to bounce ideas off of, but not the best to solve a conflict or delve into an unwilling person's emotions. If they don't want to talk about it, then drop it. And if you actually earn the "Gore glare" outside the public's eye, you've somehow seriously offended him.

character name⋮⋮ Mei Tanaka stage name⋮⋮ Poppy-Chan (Or just Poppy) age⋮⋮ Twenty-one
blurb⋮⋮ Mei grew up an only child in a busy entertainment district of Tokyo. Her parents ran a somewhat sleazy club there, much to her personal shame. Her own childhood dream was to become a classical musician, and she learned seven different instruments to try and achieve that. Unfortunately, she never seemed proficient enough in any of them to land an actual job. Tryouts led to one rejection after another, the positions available slowly becoming less prestigious.
Eventually desperate for any sort of entertainment experience, she began work at a maid café. A regular customer of the place turned out to be Drenched Unicorn's manager, and he offered her a chance to tryout for vocalist in the band. Her energy, cute looks, and perky stage smile won her the job: at least more than her decent, but not incredible, voice. The manager gave her a stage name and encouraged her to dress in dark and blood red to suit it (and the metal music style). Mei embraced her new stage persona and usually goes by Poppy in public and private. She separated herself from most aspects of her "old self," save the occasional phone call with her parents and the violin and flute she travels with.
Poppy can usually be seen with a pleasant, polite smile and heard with a genial-sounding voice. Both of those hide the strain and stress hidden underneath. She may act pleasant on the surface, but her need for order and structure - particularly in a way that suits her point of view - can lead her to poke and prod in a "friendly" way to try and get what she wants or feels is right. When it doesn't work out, that leads to temper tantrums she tries to hide from others. That may not bet so easy to do while sharing a bus. Despite how fully Mei has become "Poppy," she views this current job as a stepping stone. In her mind, the clock is ticking: she's the band's "kawaii" mascot at the age of twenty-one, raised in a culture that idolizes teenage youthfulness. She won't look twenty forever, and she's hoping to land a more serious solo career before her charm fades. No offense to her band mates, but if a producer offers to break her current contract and sign her somewhere individually, she's out as fast as her little feet can carry her.
