Light trickled into the room of Gabrielle. She groaned. 7:34 was not her ideal time to wake up. But the camp was about two hours away and she needed time to get ready. She took off her blankets and stood up. For being seven months pregnant with twins, she wasn't that fat. It was like a snake swallowed a small watermelon. She loved being one of those type of pregnant women. It was kind of rare and looked far better. Gabrielle yawned and stratched her arms, a common morning ritual for...well...anyone. Today was finally the day she would leave her unsupportive family to be with people who understand. Especially her boyfriend.
Gabrielle went over to her dresser. She put on her glasses and grabbed her outfit. She got dressed and walked out to see her family in the living room. Chanelle was playing with her doll house as Macee was trying to, but was getting pushed away. Christophe was looking at listings for apartments, even though we all knew he wouldn't move out for a while. Maman and papa were sitting on the couch watching TV. She was surprised everyone was up, but it was probaby because she was leaving for 9 months today. "Bonjour maman et papa" She could talk to her siblings in whatever language she wanted, but her parents could barely understand English, so she had to talk to them in French. Macee couldn't speak French very well and could speak English better, even though she could barely talk at all. Chanelle knew English perfectly as well as French. Christophe was fluent in both languages as well as Spanish. "Quand êtes-vous m'emmener au camp?" She asked. Her dad looked up at her. "Lorsque vous êtes prêt. Je vais vous prendre.." Gabrielle was happy to hear that. Her dad supported her more in these times then her mom.
Gabrielle went into the kitchen and made a quick bowl of cereal, brushed her teeth and went back in her room. She was sad she was leaving, but her mom wouldn't understand anything,so she was forced to leave pretty much. She put her cellphone and iPod in her dress pocket. Her bags were already in the car. She was ready to go. She went back into the living room were her family still was. "Bye Macee...I love you." She hugged her youngest sister. "Chanelle, be a good girl. Teach Maman and Papa English, kay?" Her sister nodded and giggled. Her parents didn't WANT to learn English and that was the only reason they didn't speak it. Gabrielle hugged her sister and walked over to Christophe. "I'm sorry for not being your ideal little sister. I messed up...but at least I'm trying to do something about it. Please don't hate me." Her brother hasn't talked to her in 3 months. "Can you at least say goodbye?" Christophe looked at the ground. Gabrielle sighed and started to turn away. Her brother put his hand on her shoulder and pulled her in for a hug. "I could never hate you. You're my little sister and I love you, Gab. Goodbye. I'll miss you more then anything ever." Gabrielle smiled. "I love you, Chris." With that she walked out the front door and towards the car.
Gabrielle sat in the front seat with her dad. It was silent until about 15 minutes in the drive. "Je suis désolé pour ta mère. Elle ne voulait pas être une grand-mère à quarante-trois. J'espère que vous comprenez." Her father said with out looking at her. Gabrielle shook her head. "Pourquoi devrais-je essayer de la comprendre quand elle ne fait aucune tentative pour comprendre ce que je ressens? Elle ne pense qu'à elle." Her dad sighed. "Vous ne savez pas cela!" Gabrielle looked away. Her dad kept his focus on the road as Gabrielle held in tears, looking out the window. She turned on her iPod and started listening to music as she slowly drifted to sleep.
Gabrielle woke up with her dad shaking her awake. "Vos bagages sont dans la cabine un dans la zone sud. Voici une carte et une clé. Je t'aime, Gabrielle. Sois bon et nous appeler quand vous le pouvez." Gabrielle nodded and stepped out of the car. She gave her dad a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Bye Papa, je t'aime aussi. Je vais appeler demain quand j'ai le temps." Her dad then started the car and drove off. She put the key he handed her in her in her pocket and started walking to her cabin. When she got there, she noticed a few things. The cabins weren't like cabins. They were attached. They had three long windows. The beds were queen size matresses. Her dad had already claimed and made hers. The was two doors in the middle. One had a bathroom sign and the other had a large window that took the entire door. It was connected to a nursery with 4 cribs. She looked around her cabin. Two beds. Two doors. Three windows. It was like a bedroom in a house. The walls were painted a dusty, pastel pink. She didn't really like pink as much as a girl should, but it was cute. Gabrielle opened the nursery door. Half was blue. Half was pink. She smiled. The nursery seemed larger then the regular rooms, but that made sense. She noticed another door at the end. It was the second cabin. It was the same as hers, but it was much smaller and there was only one bed and one closet.
After a good 20 minutes of exploring, she decided to go the main house. The counselors were probably waiting to introduce themselves. It was a short walk and thank goodness there were no hills in that area. She made it there and there was another girl there. She didn't appear that pregnant, so she wondered if she was a counselor. She debated on introducing herself. The girl was wearing a hoodie in this weather. The heat was even intense for her in her light dress. Gabrielle approached the girl and smiled. "Bonjour. I'm Gabrielle. And you are?" Her heavy French accent was the first thing everyone noticed, but she still held out her hand politely to everyone she met.

Josephine couldn't think of anything to do but flop onto the bed. She was packed and ready to go. She would have had her husband do that for her, but he had been packing too and she didn't want to be a bother. She was excited to see everyone. Sure, none of them were really 'friends' to her, but she missed Colorado. She had kept in contact with Lucus and Acelin and when they invited her and her husbanf to come along, the first thing she thought was that it would be nice to leave the 2 bedroom 1 and 3/4 bath apartment in Seattle for a while. Of course, six months pregnant, flying, not a bathroom to herself, it just didn't seem THAT great. On the otherhand, the people she went to highschool as knew her as Josephine O'Neil, not Josephine Jacobs, so that would be fun to talk about. The only people who really DID know were Lucus, Acelin, and her cousin, Lucy. But she didn't want to go. Her cousin never liked weddings. Josephine lost her train of thought as she ran her hand through her hair. Four hours until the flight left. That gave her time to call her a friend from college who lived five minutes away to make sure she was coming over everyday to make sure Maple, her turtle and Macey, her dog had food.
Josephine rose from her bed and walked into the living room. Macey was napping on the couch and Maple was in her shell. She loved the fact the apartment complex she lived in aloud pets. She sat on the recliner, waiting for Brian to get out of the bedroom with the bags. She reached in her dress pocket and pulled out her Samsung Rouge, dialing a number. It rang 3 times when she heard a voice. "Hey Rilee, it's Josie" She listened for a few seconds for her friend's reply. "Yeah. Just getting ready for the trip to Colorado. I just called to make sure you are coming over to feed the pets." Another few seconds. "I'd prefer to pay you. 30 dollars isn't much impact to the baby fund, you don't have to do it for fr-- Okay, fine" She let out a small laugh. "Yeah, he's good. Moving a lot. 3 more months" With that, her husband walked out and smiled at her. "Well, I gotta go. We called a taxi and now it's time to go. The key's in the door decoration. Weird, huh? Thank you for doing this" Josie waited for the good-bye and hung up. She had known Rilee since she first started taking college courses in Washington. In fact, she was in the class when Josie got sick.
Josephine rose from the recliner and walked to the kitchen. She had to make sure everything was right in there. Dishes, done. Counters, clean. No food out. That room was good. The living room was clean. The table was wiped down. The bedroom and nursery were clean, as well as the bathroom. She turned off all the lights. She loved to make sure everything was good because the best way to come home was when everything was clean. Looking around, everything was good to go. Now they just had to go through the hassle of the airport and a small drive to Acelin's place and it's gonna be a great vacation. She turned the heat off and kissed Macey and Maple. "Ready to go, sweetie?" She smiled and grabbed her bag. And they were off. She closed and locked the door and wlaked down the stairs. Outside, the cab wasn't there yet, but it would be soon. A minute and a half of waiting and it was there. Her husband took the luggage and put it in the trunk and she got in. He got in and they were off.
>>Wooah! Time skip. >.< <<
The flight was kind of nice. Josephine and her husband got a row to themselves and there were no kicking kids behind here. The worst thing was the smell of the bathroom after a huge guy went in. But the flight was short and now she was in snowy Colorado. It was the middle of December and her birthday wasn't that far away. She was actually going to have it on vacation. Two more days. Plus, Christmas was in a week. The red head lost her train of thought when she and her husband were out in the cold, waving for a taxi. She put her stuff in the back and got in. It was nice and warm. Of course, a little too warm. She was a bit tempature sensitive. She held on for the ride. Finally, they made it to the manor. A nice place to stay for the night then they get to stay at a cabin at a ski resort. This was going to be amazing! She exited the vehicle as her husband got the bags out the back.
Josephine nearly ran up the stairs and rung to doorbell. The butler answered the door and she smiled at him. Her husband was a couple feet behind her. The butler smiled. "Ahhh. Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs" She nodded. "I'll take your bags to your room. Everyone seems to be meeting up in the living room. Just follow the voices" Josephine was excited to be here. All of a sudden, her baby kicked and she giggled. 'Guess he's happy, too.' She smiled at that thought. She couldn't wait to see his smile and hear his laugh. Josephine followed the voices and found the living room. "Hey everyone!" She said in her normal, cheery voice. "We're here! How is everyone?" She was excited and her tone of voice reflected it.

"Bzz. Bzz. Bzz"
Words cannot describe how much Natsumi hates that sound ANY other day of the year. Today, it was different. That sound excited her! Today was FINALLY the day she was going to leave. Of course, her parents weren't as thrilled. She had never left home for longer then 2 weeks and now she was leaving for MONTHS. Her parents were kind of happy that it was one less mouth to feed, but also one less person to clean the house, do the dishes, etc. Natsumi jumped out of bed. Her sheets and comforters were printed with music notes. They were sooo comfy and it was a shame to leave them for now. She decided to keep them at home because she figured the school supplied them. They DID say in the list of stuff to bring that the rooms are pre-made to a certain style. She assumed that meant sheets and comforters, as well. Plus, she needed stuff to sleep with when she visits home
Natsumi could still hear her moms voice ringing and repearing in her head. Three weeks ago the letter arrived. Her mom had read it outloud to her entire family, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. Not to mention Fuyuki and his fiance, Emiko were watching on video-chat. Natsumi loved Emiko. Even though she DID take her brother away, she was always positive and seemed like a girl she could really enjoy being around. She had only met her twice, but she loved hanging out with her. Especially on the second time which was a few weeks after Fuyuki moved, when they all went on vacation to visit them. Emi took her on a trip to the mall just to get to know who her future sister was. Natusmi was excited for her brother to be marrying her.
Natsumi looked at her dresser. I was entirely empty, but there was an outfit on top that she had set aside the night before. She quickley got dressed and ran out of her room, down the hall, and into the kitchen. Her mom was just about finished cooking scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes. That was her all time favorite and her mom made it just about one or twice a month. Of course, today was a super special day and her mom decided it needed to start off on the right foot. Her dad was at the table reading the new. Akimi and Akiko were serving up their plates. Everyone had been up for an hour before her. Natsumi smiled, hugged her mom and thanked her for cooking this morning before she grabbed a plate. She served everything up and smothered everything in syrup before going to the table where her parents and sisters were already waiting.
It was a very loud breakfast. Her parents were asking her multiple questions on what she was going to do there. They gave her tips on the kind of people not to hang out with. They told her when to call them and text and whatever. They gave her rules on what she can and can't do there. She pretty much ignored half the rules her parents gave her. She was leaving home. She planned to follow the rules of the school. Her sisters were constantly asking her questions where most of the answers were "I don't know". She couldn't wait to leave. She put her bacon and eggs on the pancakes to eat faster. When breakfast was FINALLY over, they were ready to leave.
Natsumi's bags were in the living room. She had 4 because she packed...well...everything. Pictures, clothes, cosmetics, laptop, clothes, hair prodcuts, clothes, etc. Her dad carried two, Natsumi got one, and Akiko was nice enough to get the other. Everything was put in the back of the family mini-van. Akimi and Akiko got in the back. Natsumi sat in the middle and the parent's sat in front. The drive was just as annoying as breakfast. Her parents continuing their set of rules. The twins asking questions she couldn't answer. She just plugged her headphones in and drifted to sleep.
Natsumi woke up three hours later to her dad shaking her arm. "Nat. Naaattt! Nat. Get up. We're here" She heard him and her eyes blinked open. The first thing she saw was her dad...but past him was a beautiful mansion. "Wooowww!" She gasped a bit. It was so much prettier then back home. "Natsu! I am soooo jealous!" Akiko said, staring at the school herself. "Mimi! You get to LIVE here?! Akimi said, also staring at the school. It was so much prettier in person then in the brochure. Natsumi just nodded to her sister's question.
Her dad grabbed two bags, Kiko grabbed one, and Nat grabbed one. The walked through the door of the mansion. It was so bright and pretty. There was a receptionst. Long blond hair, blue eyes, probably in her mid-30s. Before Nat could speak, the girl started to speak. "Are you Miss Takewaki?" Nat nodded and smiled politely. "Here's your room key" The lady handed her a key wrapped in a map with her room circled. Simple enough. Of course, the mansion was pretty large. It took about 15 minutes of searching before she found her room. It was beautiful! Everything she could've asked for. There was a nice bed in the center, a view of the pool, it was bright and she loved the colors.
Nat squee'd before running and jumping onto the bed. It was sooo comfy. The room was bright and no lights were on. She got up and walked over to her family. "Sorry. Got a little carried away there. Thank you for letting me come this year! I love you guys so much!" She hugged her parents and sisters. "Want me to come to the car with you?" Her mom shook her. No, it's fine, sweetie. You have a lot of unpacking to do. Plus, there's a not on your bed. Love you." Natsumi nodded. "I love you, too. And I love you, daddy. I love you, Kiko and Mimi and make sure to tell Fuyuki I love him! Bye." She smiled at them, a few tears in her eyes Leaving her family was hard. After they closed the door, Nat walked over to the bed, read the note and put it down. Meeting everyone would be fun.
Natsumi put her bags in the center of her room, in the walkway as a reminder to unpack beofre the day ended. She unpacked one of her bags. It had night clothes and her toiletries. She put her toiletries in the bathroom. It was also bright. Everything here was just so perfect. She opened the dresser in her room and put her night clothes in a drawer. She owuld do the rest later. Now she had to find the west wing living room. She made her way down the staircase into a living room. She saw two people there already. She just sat on a vaccant chair. She wasn't very social with new people.
ooc;; outfit <3
Haha. Sorry for the length. >.< I just got in the zone and I haven't been in there for months. xD
