Lyndai was having one of 'those' days. The day were eveything seemed to eith go wonderfuly your way, or tragicly the other direction. She had woken early, went out to go gather some fresh herbs, as she had been running low and it got her out of the house. And what do you know, bountiful gatherings of herbs everywhere, she would be stoked for a long time. Plus one for the good things. After working and gathering, Lyndai sluggishy made her way back to where she lived, having to get her cart and wares ready for the open market.
As she was stocking her cart, three boxes fell, braking dozens of bottles and spilling pouches. A huge mess, a loss of goods, double towards the bad. After cleaning it all up, and trying to replace what was lost she finally was able to set out. Finding a good spot out of the way and yet able to be seen and herd, a plus for good stuff. But as the day wore on, she was begining to get that sense that something was going to happen.
A she was treating the seventh case of horrid foot ails, which was a whole group of pooints to just bad bad things, she heard a commotion going on not that far off. After asking around, as she wasn't about to leaver her stuff, she found out some rather off putting news. The rumor was that a whole bunch of people were brutily murdered. As it was a rumor, Lyndai put it off to exaderation in either brutality, the number, or both.
Sighing She got back to what she did best, selling herb pouches and 'potions' to women, and curing the aches of the elderly and sick. There were of course whispers of witchcraft, but seeing as she wasn't murrmering spells or hoodoo praphasys, they passed it off as just talk. Which was good, cause Lyndai didn't really want to be stoned or burned, as many books said a witch should be
Smiling joyfuly, grimcing on the inside, Lyndai bid yet another rickidy old man a good day. Somedays she really hoped she never got that old, it seemed like it hurt all the time.

Lyndai had been waving off a little girl, who had come to her with a bad cough, when it started. It started off with a commotion off down the way, from the other side of the market. Lyndai's cart was far enough away from the main market that she couldn't see what was going on exactly. She thought maybe it was a drunken brag again, but then she noticed many Atauis guards and soldiers marching and drowning their weapons. Her eyes widened in panic, 'Is the city being attacked? By who? Samora? The Brotherhood?'
Looking about at the other people panicking, she realized she needed to get out of the way, things were turning very bad. Quickly she closed up the cart, folding it up and locking it, then pushed it off into a recess, so no one would pay it any mind. Turning back to the chaos of panic she realized people were too stunned to do much so she went over and started telling people to return home and leave the area. "Let the fighters do their jobs, and let's do ours by staying out of the way! Come on, we should leave"
Once she got the mob moving she did too, taking her cart and heading home. Inside she was hoping no one got to hurt on either side. No matter what she hated having people hurt needlessly. After making it inside her small lower class house she made herself some herb tea to calm down. Her nerves were fired already, she never should have left the house today.
It was a little while latter that she heard a heavy pounding on her door. Scared her, as she had been doing inventory on her stock in a very focused silence. Rushing she answered it, as the knock sounded kinda intimidating. On the other side of her door was a small group of guards, decked out in full armor. Gulping she gave a small bow. "Sirs, how may I help you?" The one in the middle stood tall and mean looking. "Are you Lyndai Blackmoore? The witch of the market?"
Lyndai floundered for a moment, before recovering. "I don't know about witch, but I am Lyndai..." Nodding the guard moved aside a bit, showing a wagon carriage behind the group. "Good. His majesty, King Damen, and the guard have need of your healing services." Again, she floundered, but this time couldn't stop her jaw from dropping slightly. Still in shock she turn, "Of course, let me get my supplies." So in shock she didn't register getting her bag and herbs, or getting in the carriage. Wow, job from the crown...why her?

Lyndai was ushered around through maze like passages as soon as she was rather rudely led from the carriage. No one had spoken, yet alone explained what she was being expected to do. It seemed to be getting colder the more the walked, and there were many stairs they had taken. It was very unsettling to think she was being taken to the lower levels of what seemed to be the palace. Wasn't that where the Dungeon were?
She was so caught up in her confusion and growing panic that she almost missed the group about to pass them in the hallway. Her guides step off to the side and she was pushed between them out of the way. They gave a bowed salute, and she wasn't sure what to do so she did a curtsy, looking down at the floor, her skirt held with one hand, the other had her bag. There was an even more heavy silence as the steady footsteps passed. The trio moved on as soon as they couldn't be hear any more. Lyndai wasn't sure who that was, but they were highly intimidating.
Finally, they stopped at a door, the man to her left stepped forward and unlocked the door. Then stepped in. "We have the healer." was all he said, but apparently it was enough, cause as she was nudged non-too gently into the room. Which proved her fears right, they were in a dungeon, with cells. And she was being led to one.
Now she spotted why she was here, it was a man, leaning on the wall at the far end of the cell. On instinct she rushed to get to him, but a guard stopped her. "Remember witch, healing only. No tricks, this man is behind the attack at the market." She nodded quickly as she was let into the cell.
Rushing over she set her back down and went to reach for him, but stopped. Getting her act together she got into her role. "My name is Lyndai, I'm here to heal you. Can you tell me where it hurts and what kind of pain?"

Lyndai nodded. "Diego, okay." She gently took his shoulder and moved so she get a look at his wound. She tried to ignore the comment made by the guards outside the cell. How exactly she was odd she never understood, but if got her the privileged to help this guy who would otherwise be in great pain she would stick to it, but she couldn't help the pout.
As she glanced over the wound she hissed in sympathy. "This looks like a rather poorly made arrow head, too ridged to be made by a proper maker, and it seems to even have been made with poor stone, rather then metals. she glanced at her patient. "Though I suppose giving where we are, they don't care much."
Turning to her bag she took out her morter and pestle, and a few jars that held parts of herbs. Humming she though. "Lets see, its pretty close to a major blood way, so Yarrow to reduce blood loss...some chives for the immune system..no that won't work with Yarrow, so use chives and Lady's Mantel.." She went on mumbling for a second before she decided on a mixture.
Looking to the guard she spoke, hesitantly. "I'm going to need some milk or honey...is that possible?" If she was going to make a paste, she would need something to bind it but still keep the healing properties.

After treating Diego the first time, she had been lead up to a small servant quarters, and told not to leave them unless sent for. It was a little scary this whole situation, but she felt she was doing what she should be doing, so she held her head high. Though she was worried, for good reason.
She knew they were torturing Diego, the wounds told it all, and she wasn't too happy about it. She felt like she was helping them, as after she healed him, they hurt him more. But there wasn't much she could do. She had found out, after over hearing some guards talking the Diego was the leader of the Brotherhood that had been fighting in the market. But it changed nothing.
Right now she was healing him once again, silently thinking about what to do, when he asked her. " Any chance you'd be willing to put me down?" Lyndai glared, but realized he was joking. "No, Diego, I can't. As it would be me they had in here next. Not to mention I have no herbs for a peaceful put down.' She smiled, but grimaced imminently after.
Glancing over she marked that the guards were so use to this that they weren't bothering to watch them too closely. So she seized the chance for some more dangerous talk."Diego, do you have a plan to get out of here? Someone coming or something?" She asked in a whisper as she leaned forward pretending to carefully peal off an old bandage.

She had been a bit worried when he coughed and winced after chuckling, it meant he had some internal issues.Which were not pretty at all, or good when one was not being healed completely. But she sighed when he replyed "I have only faith in Theron and the brotherhood." But she perked up and paid more attention when he added about having help. Was this what she was suppose to do?
He admitted to knowing - believing- she was more skilled then she let on, making her flush from the praise. She wasn't acknowledged easily, so complements made her unsettled. Smiling she nodded. "I came to this place because I felt a calling, a reason to come here. I think I've found that reason." Glancing back at the guards "I know not about going with you, but I do know how to help."
Slowly, so as not to draw attention to the movement, as the guard had her in his peripheral side, she reach to a small pouch at her waist. Taking a breath she steadied herself. With a pinch of the powder into her hand she took a deep breath and and then exhaled, blowing the powder into the direction of the guards. All while not moving as much as possible. She made a wave of her hand, sending a small breeze to carry her gift. It wasn't instant but slowly the guards grew different, swaying before leaning on the wall. A soft snore started coming from them.
"That won't last long, not enough to get you out, but it will be enough to heal you completely." Taking her hands, she spread her palms out over him. One near his head, the other on his chest. Taking a breath she focused. Humming, so as not to draw more attention to where they were, she began her magic. Singing would have help guide the workings, but humming would surface. Her hands glowed, as she worked. Sweat gathered as she finished, slouching as she did so, releasing the magic. "The internal damage has been healed, it took more then I thought, as it was more worse then I feared." She looked at the guard. "He should think they just fell asleep on the job, act like you didn't notice."
