TERMS OF SERVICE ://:
When joining Gaia, everyone had to check a box saying that you agreed to the terms of services. If you break any of Gaia's rules, you will be reported, and eventually banned forever from the site if you break the rules enough times. Got it? Good. Thank you.

LITERACY ://:
Ah, yes. Literacy. This is a literate, to an advanced literate role play. That means no text speech. No one liners. At least three to four paragraphs to a post. AND I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH! On your first post, however, when introducing your character, I expect more than that. Now, I understand, there are some times where you can only really squeeze out a few lines. That is ONLY ACCEPTABLE once in a while. I would like people to post at least once every few days. If things get hectic at home/work/school/life, let me know when you can. If you do not post for over a week, I am sorry to say but I can delete your character if need be. I hate it when I become stuck because the character mine is conversing with is not talking back . . . for days. It gets annoying, and I bet you would not want it done to you. Also, post in third person, past tense. It keeps the flow going through the paragraphs, and thus makes it easier to read the story. Oh, and guess what I found out? It is more professional to NOT use contractions! As in, instead of narrating and writing 'didn't', it is more professional to write 'did not'! When a character speaks, it is an entirely different story, as they could be the worst speakers in history. Narration is important, and thus I would like it to be legible and understandable. Thank you!

BEAUTIFICATION ://:
I want pretty and beautiful posts. What do I mean by that? I mean no blinding colours, no strenuously small letters, and no obnoxiously large letters. Post in colours that one's eye can actually read without straining to read and without having to highlight to read. Also post in a size between size 10 to size 12. Also, in your posts, add some colour and decor! Like, pictures of your character, song lyrics, quotes that go along with your character . . . things of that nature. I hate 'naked' posts, in which it only has the narration of the character. No pictures, no nothing. Now, do not make your post a 'picture book', as in try to hide the fact that you did not post much each and every time. If your post becomes too much, I will let you know so that you can tone it down. Thank you!

LIMITATIONS ://:
Considering the fact that I do not know how many characters will be in this role play, let us just set the limit at . . . one character a pop. I may amend this rule, or just delete it all together. Do not worry -- I will let you know about things when you reserve. Thank you.

PROFILING ://:
Ah, yes -- reservations and profiles. Even though there is a separate post for the skeleton of the reserve, I find it best to reiterate what I would like to see. This role play is based on the SHERLOCK HOLMES books and movies. You should know that your character may, in fact, DIE. So, please read thoroughly. Thank you.

CENSORSHIP ://:
Any who, cursing is allowed in the role play. Make sure that it is how your character would respond to the situation. And, no cursing every other word -- it is HIGHLY annoying. If you do not like seeing curses, then I suggest you put the filters on in your preferences and such. Got it? Good. Thank you.

ROMANCING ://:
Ah, yes, romance. There may very well be love in this role play, as well as lust. I suggest you do not post sexual encounters on this thread. I cannot stop you from going elsewhere, but on here it is a big NO NO. I had a role play actually deleted because someone wrote 'n i p p l e s' without spaces, and apparently that was bad. So, if I say that what you are writing should be edited, then you should edit. And keep the love fest to . . . pg-13 or so. No R rated posts, please. Thank you.

So, if you have not guessed yet, I, master-of-snow, am in charge. That means, whatever I say is LAW. I will not really be abusing this power much, as not even I am going to be GOD-MODDING. My personal story ↴

Sherlock Holmes was born in London twenty four years ago, January 6th, 1988. He was born to Siger and Violet Holmes, who passed away when he was a young child. His older brother, Mycroft, brought Holmes overseas to New York, and acted as a somewhat pseudo parent to his brother. The two Holmes inherited quite a fortune from their parents, which helped Sherlock get into the best private schools money could buy. He then attended New York University, instantly getting into the School of Law to pursue his interest in becoming a detective, after helping the police solve a few during his years in high school. He graduated at the age of twenty four, as his years of school before moving did not transfer over correctly from England. During his years in college, however, he went with a friend, John Watson, to some underground fighting, finding himself rather light footed when he started to enter the fights, instead of betting. In the last two years of the university, he gained a position as head detective at the local precinct, but declined the offer to work directly under the newly appointed Commissioner Lestrade. Instead, he asked if he could have his own agency, and the police allowed for it, seeing as how he was the most brilliant man they would probably ever meet and ever work for them, for free. After graduating, he went to find an apartment to share with Watson, and found one with a woman named Mrs. Hudson. He had helped get her husband to Florida, to get tried in their courts and face the death penalty, since he was a rather bad man and Mrs. Hudson wanted that guy out of her life completely. She felt indebted to him, and lowered her rent cost for Holmes, allowing him, Watson, and their dog Gladstone to live under her roof at 221B Baker Street.

Disney in Trouble❢ ²

We know the princesses by heart. Tiana, Jasmine, Kida, Belle, Cinderella, Giselle, Ariel, Snow White, Rapunzel . . . the list goes on. And then we have the princes. Philip, Eric, Charming, Adam ( who, well . . . was known to be quite a beast ). You can get where this is going, can't you? Everyone had a happy ever after. Everyone. Even the side characters got a happy ending.

But what if that all changed?

What if the villains had the upper hand for once? And they gathered together, and decided, before their story ended yet again, that they would cease this fairy tale existence, and stop the happy ever afters. Ursula, Hook, Gothel, Tremaine . . . they hated the heroes, they hated the good guys. So much, in fact, that they decided the real world would be better. Strip the magic, strip the memories.

Strip the endings that they so despised.

So now, here we are, the fairy tales we know and love are real people, but they don't know who they are. They don't have to end up with their counterparts -- hell, Stitch could end up with Nala and get busy if they so desired! Eeyore could be happy for once, instead of being a bipolar donkey with a tail that sometimes falls off.

However, no matter how their new stories go, there has to be a happy ever after. But the villains, who remember their true identities, will stop that from happening.

What can the good guys do?

If they don't get their happy endings . . . everything will turn to chaos!

It's up to us, to bring back the balance.

And restore Disney's characters to their rightful endings.
