• Stories tell of how, long ago, mythical beasts known as POKeMON roamed the world. Creatures with unique abilities lived alongside humankind, competing side by side with them in the battle for survival. For centuries, they were humankind's companions, providing wonder, awe, power, and possibility. However, as human ambition grew, so did their greed and corruption. When their attentions turned to world domination, realization came that the POKeMON could be trained and used as weapons in combat. The POKeMON were pushed, harder and harder, to train, fight, and kill to further human gain. Those successful in war were granted no rest, placed in battle after battle until they reached exhaustion. Those who could not fight were disposed of. Victims to blind greed, POKeMON were ruthlessly hunted, captured, torn away from their families and forced to fight to the death... Until they disappeared completely.
  
  The year is now 20XX. POKeMON are just a myth of the past, the only remnants of them found in obscure forums in the deepest corners of the internet. If you look closely enough at those digital whispers though, they start to piece together a startling image: An organization known as ROCKET has started moving towards the revival of some of these POKeMON. The tiny details and hints at their scheme are laced between the lines of newspaper articles and vague images on the internet. Maybe you've been following them all this time, or maybe they've just floated on the edge of your periphery... Before you know it though, something has changed. You can feel it in the air, the tension so electrifying that it feels like humanity is holding its collective breath, the suspense so suffocating, you feel that society has been brought to the height right before the plummet. The balance of the world as you know it has changed... And its end is just around the corner.

• Welcome to im:balance. In this roleplay, six individuals have been chosen to combat the schemes of the group known as ROCKET. Their actions have set the world on course for domination and destruction, threatening to take it down a path history has seen once before. Will our trainers right the course of destiny? Or will the world as we know it come to an end?
  





　





• General-01. Please follow Gaian ToS. Action and romance are permitted, but once things get too extreme or explicit, please move it off the forums.
  
  Posting-02. This is a lazy-lit roleplay, with a minimum expectation of 300 words per post. Post schedules will vary, but will always be communicated clearly.
