A testing, samples and reminder thread of sorts, my memory floats off sometimes, not literally but it's not fun always being reminded now is it?
Little testing here and there, likely will just test out a new style to see how it works then put a post beneath it. :'D

Though this is more or less a test thread, so it goes without saying that no posting unless you are me, mephitical_kitty or permission from me is given.
Now that that's clear please don't post or steal, if you'd like me to make a post style ask and don't 'hi-jack' it alright? Thanks~.

[ Jazzy ]

Generally arguments were normal within the Christoph household. There seemed to be one always picked and won by someone, either morning or evening arguments. This argument, however, took place at six in the morning unlike most days where they would take place on seven or seven - thirty at most. Half of their arguments made no sense and the half of the time and the only one who could barely win any of them was the brunette teenager. Her hair looked auburn as it shone from the fluorescent light above. Their kitchen had been like that for a while, either too light or dark, even dim sometimes; but for some reason today it chose to be dim. "What do you mean, I can't?" Her voice snapped, slicing straight through anything else being said making sure to snap. Words coming out though half of them she probably didn't even mean. Arms crossed over chest, foot tapping impatiently. Hazel eyes met aqua before another would could be said a girl came in. Looking back and forth at the elder woman and younger girl before saying, "Morning cupcake, mornin' Mom." She had always been addressed as 'cupcake' by her cousin, and 'sunshine' or 'lady bug' by her Uncle; yet their Aunt insisted on calling her niece by her name. Whether or not the intention was to provoke her wasn't clear yet.

"Jazz-Jazz, apologize." The young woman's voice rang lightly through the room. Jasmine huffed angrily and shook her head like stubborn child would. Not being a morning person also made this particular situation even more difficult. Others were possibly still asleep though that ramble might have woken up a few others. "Christina," the other woman said, "don't provoke her. Obviously she just woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Jasmine looked over back and forth between the two as if it were some kind of a tennis match. Rules could and were subject to change within the Christoph household. Neither of them said a word, standing stone still nearly refusing to move at all. Bad luck that had been all Jasmine would be within her Aunt's aqua blue eyes, she had taken her and Trey in when their relatives accused her of doing things. Naturally as a child mostly everyone would be curious by nature but not Jasmine, for her that had seemed terrible on some point rating system.

"Cupcake," her cousin's voice caught her attention. Looking back at her before blinking, once then twice. Would it always be like this? How much longer would this go on? Drama happened enough at school she certainly didn't need it at school either. Grin spreading across her face, "Let me guess, Mom didn't quite agree with the whole dancing thing again, huh?" Jasmine scrunched up her nose as if to respond, that had started that morning quarrel. Staying after school, then skipping out on most Drama practices for plays to go to dance class instead. Apparently that had shown some 'imperfection', likewise at the exact same time could be seen as a crime. "You could say that, Trey still knocked out?" Trying to divert any left over attention from herself towards that of her brother. He stayed away from those morning quarrels since nearly getting dragged into one about a year or so back kind of traumatized him; not literally. Jasmine could understand why.

Hazel eyes watched carefully while catching glanced out of the kitchen window. Their neighbors had been friends with Trey and herself since they'd come to stay with their relatives. Well, at least one, Adia and her brother Astor. Though Astor made the brunette wonder sometimes. "Got practice after school?" Jumping slightly since she'd nearly forgotten that she wasn't by herself. Nodding a 'yes' another voice carried down stairs. "Don't encourage her Chrissy! She's going to Drama practice today if it kills her." Jasmine being Jasmine just smirked and made a motion of dying, receiving a laugh from Christina. Grinning again lightly before glancing back out the window, looked as though no one decided to wake up and 'be with the land of the living' as Christina often put it. Twirling a strand of hair before frowning again, this meant no dance practice, no dance practice meant sneaking about. And that could be considered near to lying although she lightly put it as 'sneaking', not lying. Then again the local dance studio wouldn't close until near close to ten, Drama practice would probably be over by seven or eight at most. That gave her little time still some always happened to be better than none.

"Tell Trey to catch up if he can, besides need to get to school early to practice for the dance team. Pep rallies are always fun, pardon lack of enthusiasm in place of sarcasm." Jasmine told her elder cousin before slinging a messenger bag over her shoulder, then a smaller one. Yawning while stumbling from sleepiness towards the front door. School had to be dealt with now any more argument could wait until later whether making those choices would get her into trouble or not. Not that it mattered too much. Stepping out into cool air, unwinding headphones from blue iPod before choosing a song.

Trevon Trey Anthony Christoph

|| Trey ||

The blond boy just laid in bed, listening to the argument from downstairs. Somehow each word managed to bounce from wall to wall managing to still reach his ears behind his closed bedroom door. Rolling over on his side, hazel eyes flecked with green stared at the alarm clock. Six - thirty at most, weird. "Must've been something to tick off Jazzy to jump into defense mode this early in the morning." He mumbled to himself. Morning arguments were routine within their Aunt's household, ever since Jasmine could snap out a snarky comment or some comeback. Letting out a yawn before stretching his tired arms some. Finally sitting up, sure he was what someone would consider as scrawny or even small, but he could hold his own in a fight.

Rubbing tired eyes, straining his ears in some vain attempt to find out what the current argument had been about. Chuckling lightly when Jazzy's voice reached his ears before shaking his head. His sister had been like that since they were kids, their Aunt just ended up being fuel for his baby sister's fire. After a few minutes the heated argument seemed to die down. Footsteps then entered his ears while reaching back for a sharpie to write with on a sketch book. Tape, he'd need some tape for this message. That'd be difficult to find seeing how as the only tape wasn't regular but instead duct tape. Where had that been put up, who used it last? Uncle James surely he had some. "Trevon?" His Aunt's voice reached his ears from beyond his closed door. Trey had always hated his name for some reason though he had told their Aunt Maryanne that he preferred to be called 'Trey' she always called him Trevon. "Yes?" Trey's voice came out scratchy from his throat, possibly from keeping the door to his balcony open a crack. "Jasmine threw another fit, sorry if we woke you by any chance," her voice seemed hesitant. Trey could tell that she was lying otherwise she wouldn't have bothered to say anything.

After a short silence of only two minutes though it somehow seemed an eternity to him, their Aunt Maryanne spoke again. "Christina's likely going to give you guys a ride to school. So be downstairs at least within twelve minutes." He said nothing back giving a nod towards the closed door, if their Aunt noticed at all. Scribbling a message basically saying to meet him outside on the clean white sketchbook page to Adia. Adia had been his friend since he and his sister moved to stay with their relatives. Astor, her brother, however; Trey wasn't sure about him, but his attitude confused him sometimes. "Tape, tape," he mumbled to himself. There had been some normal tape somewhere. Spotting it on his desk, he tore a piece off and neatly tearing out the page before tapping it on the balcony door. Closing it afterwords before stretching again. A plus side to squabbles or arguments were that no matter what Trey always got dressed before or a few minutes after they began. Classes would be cut short today, for that the blond boy was grateful. There had been a reason though, pep rally. Or getting ready for it at most. Students couldn't linger to see what would happen during practice though Trey knew Jazzy sent him e-mail's or IM's telling him what expect. Always relaying this information to Adia and her brother.

Drawing the dark forest green curtain over the balcony window before glancing around again. His back pack had been resting in it's usual place, the computer chair; though his shoes had been placed downstairs. Again. Shoes were one thing that he always found himself either misplacing or forgetting exactly where it was they had been last. There were only a few places they could be, the laundry room, his room, downstairs near the door. Near the door of course, closest. Slinging his bag over his shoulder before walking out of his room and down the stairs. Christina grinned at him from a cup of coffee. "What's up? Jazz - Jazz and Mom's argument woke you up, huh?" Trey shrugged lightly before nodding. Christina had been their 'peace maker' for quite some time, no matter who fought. Picking up the pair of shoes before turning back towards the kitchen, plopping down in a chair. "So, not much for talk this morning are you? Listen your sister doesn't need anger management or anything, she has it right here." His cousin told him before taking a sip of coffee, getting a snicker from him.

Trey stood up but not before giving Christina a quizzical look. Wasn't she supposed to be taking them to school? Or had she just said that to save them time? "What? Ah, my little white lie, what Mom doesn't know won't hurt her." She said, winking. Waving dismissively at him to hurry up and go outside before their Aunt knew something was amiss. Grinning as he hurried for the front door, opening it letting in a cool breeze. Spotting his sister sitting on the small staircase leading up to their home. Closing the door behind him before stepping down to sit by his sister. All they had to do now was avoid their Aunt for the time being, not to mention try waiting for Adia and Astor.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxAlexandra Lexxy Lolita Wren

The brunette nearly missed the last bell, what with her heads practically wandering about on it's own. Hazel eyes staring down at her notebook which had apparently been attacked with not only little doodles here and there, but the beginning of another story. Perhaps one in finishing but that could never be said for her what with starting and stopping different ideas abruptly. 'Alexandra' written in pen across it's cover only it looked scratched out since 'Lexxy' had been written over it. Grin spreading across lips while gathering up everything, one thing about school that had a bit of a plus side, not riding a bus. Walking distance was all good and okay sometimes and other times that just happened to be not what she wanted to do. Friday didn't help this whole situation much either. Now that Lexxy thought about it, wasn't there something happening today at six?

Shrugging lightly since it probably had nothing to do with her anyways, so why bother really. Now thinking about what her mind had probed, then brought up made Lexxy wrack her mind in some desperate attempt to try remembering. Hm, party, that sounded about right. But then again there really wasn't anyone to drag her into going so again, why even bother going at all? Brushing aimlessly at any dust clinging onto the grey hoodie though the action had been in vain since there had to be something to busy herself some way. Shifting books and notebook in one arm while trying to keep a grip on the messenger bag. Books made things worse sometimes then again other times they were meant for escape, kind of like a refuge. Most of Lexxy's ideas somehow sprung from an idea just by reading. Patting lightly on the messenger bag as if in a form of apology before hoisting it onto her shoulder.

Humming lightly to herself while exiting with others into the bustling halls. Being short had some advantages if not very little, getting through crowds being one of them. No locker stop would be called for since nearly every book for almost every class she had been taking up 'til now had been housed within bag over her shoulder. Added weight, yes, but still catching up on some work never really hurt anyone too much now did it? Finally managing to exit the building, eyes nearly shooting around to survey her current surroundings. If she had been right which had been often and as of late, frequent; then Marcus would be around then again he wasn't one for patience much. Giggling again as the smirk grew a bit, her sibling had been like that only for a little while, possibly middle school 'attacking' him.

Still, hazel eyes began to search her surroundings, sometimes things would jump out or seem out of place. And something did certainly seem out of place, a red head, Lenna, from what Lexxy could remember was just standing on a sidewalk. Had she missed her bus? One thing that she absolutely loved about having walking distance or almost from school. Chewing on her bottom lip while quickly weighing pro's and con's in her mind surely nothing would be gained at all from this but rain had been expected for today. Nodding to that decision that had been made up, Lexxy cupped her hands over her mouth and shouted, "Lenna!" Sure it was a long shot what with cars going by and others talking with few others nearly shouting to be heard. Now all that there was was to see if Lenna would notice her or not.

How can you just allow someone to plan you're life for you? It just doesn't seem fair...

The brunette looked dully at her hair, blond highlights a blue streak, and turquoise nails; how exactly had she gotten this job again? Oh right, her over bearing parents who had to plan out nearly everything in their daughter's life. Letting out a laugh that rang through the empty house, frightening her cat a bit. Looking up at it's owner with sleepy slit eyes. Chocolate brown eyes locked into a stare with her tabby cat, who by now had gotten up and decided it'd be a brilliant idea to rub against the girl's work clothes. "Abby, no! Ah, now I need to find that lint roller. Oh well, come here you silly little kitty cat." Forgiving Abby by picking up the tabby cat and rubbing her head with her free hand. Turquoise nails glinted from the over head light in the bathroom. Setting Abby back down before getting down on hands and knees to retrieve the lint roller. Abby seemed to be Helena's only solitude, friend and companion within her home; her parents were far too over bearing. Making decisions for their daughter without her consent. Helena had no say in anything at all, still though, it surprised her as to why the company allowed her to keep her job. Other than being a part-time receptionist and running errands, there really wasn't much for her to do. Except go get lunch or coffee sometimes. But that would be about the extent of her work. Other than a few other odd jobs here and there most included taking notes in some meetings that they allowed her in; relaying messages, taking calls. What one would probably consider as 'normal'.

Though the brunette had been somewhat thankful for their lesser hold on her wardrobe, though she was one to try and follow the rules. Heels really weren't for her unless they wanted to find her half passed out on the bottom of a stairwell. So they had made an exception for flats or heels that weren't really considered heels when Helena had come close to twisting her ankle. One of the female employees had brought it up, which made her rather thankful and thus for some reason; the brunette teen felt slightly as though there could be something done in order to help out the young woman who had helped her. Later finding out within that week that her name was Miss. Aspen. Helena once again had been quite thankful for being the young woman's temp really, somehow she felt at ease around the other person who had helped her. Maybe because Miss. Aspen seemed different from her controlling parents. That could've been one of the many few reasones. Pulling free the lint roller while getting cat hair off of her shirt and part of her pants while humming to a song that blasted through the empty house. Beats echoing off the walls. Singing into the lint roller while trying not to laugh at herself, one thing had been for certain, her parents hadn't taken away their daughter's sense of style, how she looked at herself or the fact that she didn't mind laughing at her silly antics.

Continuing to sing into the lint brush, pulling on the white flats. Abby stared at her owner with a sort of sleepy look that probably meant something along the lines of 'turn that off' or 'leave me bee'; only Helena didn't notice. She was having too much fun singing and jumping around in circles to even notice the looks that her cat was giving her. From jumping around so much a necklace could now be visibly seen, biting her lip before stretching the long chain to touch her forehead. Her elder brother, Daniel, had given her. Always calling her older siblings by their middle names and not their Korean names, it just felt weird calling them by their actual names, which were Korean to whereas their baby sister's was not. Around her right wrist a bracelet clinked, her other brother, James; had given it to her. The pieces of jewelry were kind of like signs of rebellion against her parents tight grip. Like she had been a puppet all her life always controlled by the puppeteers, or basically put her parents. Being pulled to their whim and calling and as luck would have it the only thing noticed at work had been her star bracelet. The necklace wouldn't bring much attention, but still, better safe than sorry. Tucking the necklace back into place where it couldn't be seen or at least the chain could be. Eyes suddenly getting a look at the alarm clock in her room. Suddenly feeling that urge of one being rushed, the time read seven o'clock. Morning day jobs annoyed Helena, but she couldn't complain really having to be there before seven - thirty at most.

"Oh come on! Give me a break, please? What did I ever do to deserve this?" Throwing her hands up would've been too over dramatic, so talking aloud seemed to work better. Helena asked no one in particular aloud as her iPod changed to 4Minute's song 'Hot Issue'. Grabbing a plain gray hoodie and small messenger bag. Turning out the light switch in the bathroom and her bedroom, giving Abby a quick kiss on the head after getting her blue headphones and silver iPod from it's iPod Home. Another silver chain around her neck with a gold key at the end, a spare house key since her parents 'disappeared' even after she came home. Not really in such a driving mood, putting the earbud's in her ears and turning on the device before breaking into a run. Cool air hit against her cheeks as heels slapped against the concrete. Ignoring anything else going on around her, trying to avoid large crowds or anything that would cause her to wait for the cross walk sign. Crowds more than often made her nervous not too terribly but there had been that feeling of suffocation. Managing to actually make it to her work place without detours or distractions, opening the door and letting out a sigh. Her iPod had been turned off long before and stowed away safely in the small messenger bag around her shoulder. Miss. Aspen gave a kind smile to her temp. "Good morning Miss. Aspen, what needs to be done today?" Helena's voice came out as calm while speaking to the adult before her. Making it with some good five or so minutes to spare. Calming her nerves long enough to not notice something being said to her.

Helena Isabel Nathan

'Rebel Angel'

There was a ringing noise, what was that? A cell phone? No, it couldn't have been it didn't even sound like a ring tone for a cell phone, had to be an alarm clock of some sort. No doubt it was, the shrill ringing couldn't be mistaken. A girl groaned, rolling over on her side, pressing the soft pillow against her ears in a failed attempt to make the ringing go away. Wasn't there a snooze button? Weren't there always those on alarm clocks, where the heck was it on this device? She rolled over and let out a small shriek as her body collided with the cold tiled floor away from the warmth and comfort of what was the bed. Raven hair spilled over brilliant brown eyes, rubbing her back before trying to find the source of turmoil that caused her to even fall from that haven. Right, alarm clock. Brown eyes locked on the obnoxious ringing device before a hand reached out and flung it against the wall. Ian, her cousin, surely was going to be upset with her for doing that but she told him time and time again not to set her alarm clock. But did he listen? No.

Another groan this one more audible than the last escaped her lips, she had school today didn't she? How obnoxious. Sitting up rubbing the back of her head causing her hair to flop up and sideways in random directions. Sleep slowly became something that was only a few minutes ago as being awake set into her mind. With that thought, coffee suddenly popped into her mind. It also seemed like a good idea, besides Ian wouldn't be awake for another fifteen or so minutes. Plus he'd set his niece's alarm to go off at six in the morning and not seven, what was wrong with her cousin? Oh well, he'd be late to school not her. Although then he'd fuss at her for letting him sleep in, shrugging the thought off. "Mm, coffee," Helena mumbled to herself while getting dressed. Pulling on a pair of light blue jeans that looked like they had rips in them, but were sewn together with light tan thread. Rummaging around for a shirt to wear finally deciding on a print t-shirt, snatching up a wallet and jean jacket, literally tip-toeing to the bathroom. Any slight sound would wake up her cousin.

Making a bit of a face at the mirror, Helena's brown eyes reflected back at her in a a bit of a sleepy manner. Brushing her teeth while making a mental note to tell Ian about the alarm clock incident, which only happened about maybe two or three times a month. Not that it was entirely the teens fault she just despised alarm clocks, especially ones that were placed into her room without any consent what-so-ever. So to her this was just like payback was all. Spitting out the last of the white foam before swishing some water in her mouth what was with toothpaste and leaving that weird taste in someone's mouth. Reflection staring back while pulling a brush through raven tangled and knotted hair. Taking one last glance at herself in the mirror not before sticking out her tongue and flicking the light off.

Slinging the messenger bag over her shoulder, checking and even double checking to make sure that all notes, homework, notebooks and even textbooks were still there. Double checking was out of habit just like 'killing' an alarm clock was but Helena never told Zara, her best friend about that. Though somehow the girl figured her friend already knew, so why bother telling in the first place? A buzz, or more like a vibrate from the pocket of her jeans, nearly sent her across the dinning room floor. The cell phone was one thing but actually managing to make her nearly want to skid across the floor face first? That was something else. Eh, looks like its two points Zara and Helena still at zero, perhaps being the only thought that crossed her mind, flipping open the cell phone.
                                              Helea, hurry up! Tiffy's about to drive me up the wall with this music magazine she's got! Save me...! ;-;
Arching an eyebrow before quickly typing back her answer: Err, Za-za, excuse me for waking up at six in the morning but seriously what is Tiff doing? Other than driving you up the wall...

Helena loved messing with Zara, almost like a past time of some sort. Both girls were nearly like sisters despite their birthdays being in different months not to mention on different days. But reading each other's emotions like books were like talents that only they had and none of their only friends. Slipping her cell phone back into the back pocket of her jeans before grabbing a purse that held her iPod and other random items, like a ruler, no one knew why she kept a ruler to begin with really; tossing in her wallet and spare key to the apartment. Echoing through the still room, zippers always got on her nerves early in the morning. Heading out of the apartment as quietly as possible, tapping on some sneakers. Eyes looking somewhat sleepily at the staircase, why did it have to be two flights she had to go down every morning and not one? It was normally three on laundry days but that thought was quickly shook out as Helena walked down each step careful not to trip over her own feet. That was one thing about her being sleepy, always managing to trip over anything that there was to trip over, flat surfaced or not. Being told once that that was possible didn't help. Finally making it to the complex door, jerking it open and letting the cool morning air greet her face.

Allowing the heavy door to slam behind her, surely that must've woken someone up. Snickering at her own thoughts, perhaps it was her cousin who woke up, then again she wasn't going to stick around just to find out. Heading down concrete paved sidewalks at a steady pace, cutting through some grass even yards here and there just to make short cuts to get to school. Of course if the shorter route was taken she'd get another lecture about leaving Ian again, that was something Helena didn't want to face. Rubbing sleepy eyes for the third time, knowing all too well that Zara would probably get on her tail for doing that, irritating her eyes and all; but at least now she was at school. Too bad there was no coffee around. A grin spread across her pale pink lips from another thought, maybe getting Ian to get her some coffee would work. Or not, depending on his temper at being left alone...again.

❝Call me your 'girl' and you're going to fight for that so - called right...❞

Teressa Marian

speaking | thinking | text

Sitting on a steal chair a girl raven black and purple hair pushed her feet against the wall and tilted back slightly. If their tech found her like this there would be no doubt that she would freak out then ask what the heck their co-leader was doing. She, for one, wasn't quite all that promising at hot wiring or anything but she sure as heck knew how to dismount, dissect and put a security camera back. "Ha, Reese, what've you gotten yourself into? Inteli and Lyric are probably going to be upset with you, on the other hand, Inteli might not ask me where the mini-screwdriver came from, so perhaps I'm safe." The teenage female said to no one in particular in the room. Pushing her foot angrily against the wall, realizing a little too late that that hadn't been quite a brilliant idea. Tumbling back with chair as her back hit the cool hard metal a groan escaped her lips, freaking great. Perfect. "Congrats Teressa Marian, no wonder your father gave you such a name. Oh and did I mention that your an idiot? I mean, what the hell?!" Teressa yelled to no one once again. Huffing angrily once her little rant was all finished and through before rolling over and away from the painful steal chair that had caused pain on her shoulder just seconds ago.

Laying completly flat like a straight board, streching arms ever so slightly before bringing her hands behind her, manging to keep a handstand before coming back up standing. Nodding quite happily at her accomplishment before brushing some invisible dust away from the dark faded jeans that she wore. Blowing a strand of hair from dark chocolate eyes only to have it come back down and landing straight over the right side of her face. Excellent, whatever, it'd be fine just like that. No one would even notice. As if the female really cared no one really looked right at her within their unit except for her other team mates of Violent Violets. How they'd even recieved that name still made her wonder, actually in all honesty she understood the 'violet' part, but 'violent', really? Shrugging rather indifferently before walking lazily over towards the over turned steal chair, leaning over with a had behind her back as the other pulled up the chair. Returning it back to it's proper place, letting her arms go limp.

Lifting one single slender finger taking out a hair pin, maybe some lock picking practice would do Teressa some good. Not that it really mattered, she already knew how to pick locks but not from the inside of a room. Why not give it a shot? Humming quietly to herself, knees tucked beneath her. Giving another frustrated sigh before taking the hair pin and sliding over to the side, no use, oh well better luck next time. Drawing back bangs, returning the hair pin back not that it did anything but it was worth giving it a shot. Resting elbows on knees, hands on her cheeks. What to do? If there was nothing to do to keep her entertained or at least keep her mind away from other things then those stupid thoughts would come back along with that freaky memory. That one memory that needed to keep as far away within the recess of her mind so that no one other than her team mates would think of her as insane. No wonder someone wanted terribly to send her to an insane asylum.

Flinching at that thought before stomping down a foot angrily. "Damn it! First you manage to dissect a secuirty camera, Mariana is going to kill you Teressa! Not only that but you fall from a chair from kicking it, do a back flip nearly like nothing at all is wrong and go on about your business and now this about an insane asylum?! I mean what's wrong with me, I'm even talking in third person, urgh!" Teressa snapped angrily at herself. Generally talking to herself in third person happened a lot whenever the female happened to be upset with no one other than herself. Who cared if she had conversations or even arguments with no one? So what? At least she could express what she was feeling however when there wasn't anyone else currently present. That much happened to be an ironic plus of sorts. Leaning back, dark brown eyes casted up towards the ceiling above her head, Inteli would kill Teressa if she found out that their security camera had been messed with. Inteli, or Hana wouldn't let Teressa around anything that happened to be electronic since the co-leader seemed to have an odd touch that would cause harm of any kind of electornic. Lap tops, computers, cell phones, iPods, anything that ran or didn't run on batteries included.

Clapping her hands together before standing up, making the spot decision right then and there. Hana wasn't quite capable of killing someone, but if it happened to be Teressa and she messed with an electronic that had wires? Oh yeah, there would be some metal thrown. Chairs not included, probably something sharp. Sharp and possibly dull. Hitting her head on the wall before opening the door, staring blankly at the handle, turning it. "Sorry 'Settia, but you'd kill me dead and probably hide the evidence too. Flicker cameras can be fixed anyways, maybe if I go outside and get some air it'll be alright." Quietly shutting the door behind her, quiet footsteps echoing around bouncing off from the walls around. Eerie, but that's what Teressa dealt with, what she'd dealt with for a while now. Hmn, wonder where Lyr when off too? Wondering quietly while heading out through double doors, night air lifting up some strands of black hair. Much better than being in a stuffy, room all day, so what if it happened to be their head quarters? Breathing room was nice every once and a while too.

Striking electric blue eyes snapped open, what was that sound from outside? There was a little pitter-patter on the windows all around the house. It was a little bit of light rain, from what the teen girl could see it didn't look like 'light rain', seemed like those forcasters hadn't gotten their prediction right again. Rubbing a hand on chilled, goose bumped arms her eyes trailed over to her older brother and a smirk played across her pale pink lips in a childish manner. It wasn't his idea to come here, to where a place where humans were but at the time there wasn't much of a choice. At least during that second before coming to this little town there were arguements of sorts about not wanting to come to a place where there were humans. His little sister hadn't seen much of a problem with it, after all they'd been in this palce for at least three years. Or perhaps it was just two and it didn't seem like it.

Looking around for a minute before tumbling lightly off the autumn orange colored couch and sneaking towards a computer a few inches from her elder brother. Just a few more steps to go, a soft sound across the carpet made her stop in her tracks, hair sticking up on her neck. Had her brother woken up? That wouldn't work too well with what she was trying to do it was just a few more steps, a few more. Soft fur rubbed against her leg and surpressing a surpised streak but immeadiatly allowing a cold hand cover her mouth. Their pet cat had decided to see if anyone was awake. "Shh, Tabby no. Please, please, don't ruin this for me. There's something I have to do, Arlis and I have school today and its still so early." Beckoning their cat to be quiet, while its slitted black and yellow eyes stared back up at the girl.

Arlis was a friend of her's at first when they had come to live here there was no one for her to talk too. Somehow she and Arlis became friends telling him her name, Aislinn, seemed to start off a friendship. One that her brother didn't seem to approve of at all. That friendship was something that helped her through her first year of school with almost everyone thinking that she was weird; not to mention lying to her friend that she had been home schooled. He couldn't find out about her secret otherwise he would be like the others and probably leave her. Shaking away the thought Aislinn slowly moved closer towards that destination where she would be able to possibly talk to her friend.

Settling into the computer chair a rather soft, but obnoxiuos creak came from beneath it as Aislinn sat down. Tightly shutting her eyes in fear of her brother waking up and finding her would be like hiding from something evil. Very slowly opening one eye to see that Tabby had padded his way into the computer room and flopped down by the slightly cracked door. This was it, if she was caught then that would have to be that, taking a slow sharp breath before taking hold of the computer mouse and quickly clicking to log on to her account. Looking back behind her as if to see her brother staring at her but instead it was just Tabby laying there watching with what seemed to focused eyes. A shiver ran down her spine at a sudden though of their cat being like a messenger to her elder sibling.

Aislinn found what she was looking for and quickly logged in, it was by accident how she'd actually found the supposed 'istant messenger'. But she admitted that the plus was that Arlis had added her as a friend on his not to mention it was a bit of an easier was to talk. Clicking on a new conversation below Arlis' name, maybe he wasn't on.
wishing - star : hey, you there?
Typing properly had come as a habit when she'd taken a computer class. Aislinn couldn't help but feel that humans were a little bit strange in her own opinion. No second thoughts flashed through her mind this time as her pinky hit 'Enter'. Whether he would respond or not depended on if he was awake. A tiny bit of sadness entered her heart, what if he wasn't up? It was after all just five or so in the morning. They wouldn't be going to school until about perhaps seven - thirty or so.

Leaning back in the computer chair, waiting quietly and patiently for a response. Previous thoughts began to slowly drift into the open space of her mind. Here and there were a few memories, new and old and a few that she'd rather just forget. How long would it be beofre they would have to return to their own 'world'? It seemed that that single thought caused her heart to wrench painfully, at that second it felt like if that happened then she wouldn't be able to see Arlis at all again. Why did they have to be so different? Twirling long brunette, blond hair before letting it rest over her right shoulder in a cascade. Eyes still watching for something to happen on the screen, maybe a little blink of sorts.

Stop there and let me correct it
I wanna live a life from a new perspective

Taighlor decided it best to live his little sister alone before she'd send Tabby to attack him. Not that the cat was in any way vicious but somehow it did seem to have 'human qualities', both siblings could agree on that. Taking sleepily slow steps towards the kitchen their Aunt Lucinda's bright morning attitude nearly blinded him. How could this woman be awake this early in the morning yet get to sleep around one in the morning? He just couldn't see how she could do it. Tilting head sideways while watching her, in her seemingly 'happy' state head towards the computer room.

Deeming it rude to listen to what was being said as he walked around the kitchen, finally setting his elbows behind him atop the counter. Letting his mind absently float away without him, the one thought that he didn't want to speak about or bring up to his little sister was about their parents. Where they were or what had possibly happened to them. Taighlor understood though how their parents felt, that they wanted to keep what was most precious to them as safe as possible; so they had given themselves up in order to save their own children. Yet at the same time he considered it as being abandoned that what they showed was cowardice not courage. But what did he know?

"Don't lean on my counter!" A gentle, shrill ringing voice suddenly entered his ears. One disadvantage to living with their Aunt Lucinda; she had lungs. Immediately side stepping away from the counter and towards the dinning room table. Holding his hands up in a 'I surrender' type way to try not getting on their Aunt's bad side. Sure she was energetic in the morning but also slightly OCD when it came to cleaning, unfortunately counters fell under that category. "Calm down, OCD much this morning?" Lucinda's eyes narrowed rather dangerously on her nephew over her glasses with her hazel eyes. What was more frightening then being stared by someone who knew they'd win?

Picking up a cup of coffee with one hand, using the other to throw Taighlor a granola bar who caught it without allowing it even manage dropping. Silence filled the small but decent sized kitchen. "When are you going to tell her about your parents Tai?" Breaking the silence while speaking in a rather calmer tone now, somewhere in her voice was a sound of understanding. Silence once again filled the room but once again fled once Taighlor opened the wrapper, leaving a bit of a soft shrill sound; almost like paper tearing only not as bad. An argument between Aunt and nephew was like that of watching a tennis match, bouncing back and forth with one person or pet, turning their head waiting for something to happen next. "She has a right to know even you know that! Whether witch hunters are looking for the two of your or not, she has a right to know. You can't keep that from her." Aunt Lucinda told Taighlor, who in return puffed his cheeks out like a blow fish, which he and his sister both did when either thinking or frustrated. "What do you mean she has a 'right' to know? Lucinda you know as well as I do that that's just like making another...ow, what was that for?" Taighlor barely finished his statement from a tin foil ball being thrown at his forehead.

He'd forgotten not to address his Aunt so formally, it was either 'Aunt' or 'Aunt Lucinda' not plain Lucinda unless they weren't related. Which, surprise surprise, they happened to be. Shaking his head in frustration his dark hair following in suite of the swinging back and forth motion, covering up his eyes. Throwing up arms in his usual state of 'I give up' before storming upstairs. Why did he have to tell his sister? She would probably write him off as something of betraying her forever. Unfortunately that wasn't something he could deal with. Dressing in work clothes, the front door opened and closed with its usual creak. Aislinn must've already left for school. Taighlor stopped for a second realizing that his sister just left, walking in outside in the pouring rain, that was not good. Quickly tying on his shoes before making sure to get a jacket or hoodie of some kind afterwards, racing down the stairs in three's, jumping down the last two. "Aislinn? Ais?" His own voice bounced off walls and greeted him again, so they both left then.

"Just missed her, love, about a good five minutes ago. And don't give me that look, she would've been late if you'd have driven her to school Aislinn can take care of herself. Now off you go your fifteen minutes late." Aunt Lucinda's voice greeted from somewhere within the house, possibly the basement, the door was ajar that lead into the downstairs room. Possibly she was doing laundry but Taighlor didn't stop to think. Worrying about his sister was only natural, pulling on a dark hoodie making sure to grab his wallet and car keys; two things he never left the house without. Front door opening for second time that morning with its hinges greeting in response. Taking two steps at a time from front porch, to three stepped stairs leading up to the house; taking long strides towards the beat up green two seat truck. Yanking open the driver door, eyes staring ahead of him at nothing in particular. Absent mindedly turning the car on, twice making sure the truck wouldn't fail him again like last time. How was he going to tell his sister? Thoughts clouded his mind while pulling out of the driveway and going at a steady pace to work with vehicle giving little putt-putting noises every now and then.

His only main problem was the simple fact that she was friends with a human. That bugged him somehow, but at the same time it made her seem more 'normal'. Was it just that he was being overprotective of his little sister or had it been because he thought that this kid she was hanging around as a threat? More or less witch hunters wouldn't be able to find her if she was hanging around a human, it'd be more difficult. Maybe it was because he felt that his little sister wasn't around him as much when they were kids, that could be it. A feeling of lonliness that had to be what it was.

A soft voice could be heard singing as a female trailed behind three others in front of her. White headphones could clearly be seen in her ears, none of the other girls in front of her seemed to notice or even care, as if this were a normal occurance for them. Stopping every few minutes from singing to just bobbing her head to the music. Not noticing at all what was happening in front of her until one of the three shrieked quite loudly catching the attention of passer - bys who merely shook their heads in a rather disapproving way. The only response they got was an eye roll of annoyance from the last female. None of the passer - bys noticed though and she particularly wanted to keep it that way. "Stop trying to give Lexxy a heart attack before her time," she mumbled while the other two, a brunette and raven haired females looked at her rather cluelessly as if they had done nothing at all. The third female, a blonde who went by 'Lexxy' had calmed her breathing by now and had stopped trying hyperventilating for air. The brunette arched an eyebrow at the fourth before speaking, "C'mon Linn, what's the worse that can happen? Besides the simple fact that we just got away before someone could make another complaint about the peace again. Let us have some fun." At that Aislinn raised her eyebrow in a questioning way in return, their defintions of 'fun' were entirely different. Cora preferred to frighten people, Lexxy being the main target of half of those; while Karen just let it go, not even bothering to intervene nor help in any way. By now they both knew not to frighten Lexxy, she was already skittish enough as it was. That and any form of a cemetary or graveyard didn't help. Aislinn figured it had been from watching one too many horror movies. Although that had just been her own opinion. "Uh - huh, and you know as well as I do that our definition of 'fun' differs Core. Do me a favor, don't do that again, alright? Now we all part ways." The words somehow spoke for themselves as Cora blankly stared at the shorter of the bunch. Sure the girl was short for her age, but Cora knew better, the girl could pack a punch if need be. Or just walk away like nothing had ever happened. Lexxy squeaked, "Are you serious? B - but, i - it's not..." Aislinn patted the other girl's shoulder while giving a small shrug.

By now Karen felt it best to intervene at the perfect time right before Lexxy decided it'd be best for some form of yet another panic attack. "Remember, five minutes and then we depart. Next time you do this you'll be by yourself, got that?" Aislinn knew that her friends words didn't mean anything rude or had any harsh intentions behind them. She walked through the iron wrought gate, hearing one more thing from Karen. "And Aislinn? Tell her we say 'hello', okay?" None of them could see how her face change completely from no emotion to care. Closing dark eyes, drawing in a breath. Giving no answer only nodding in turn. Music still flowing into her ears, realizing that she hadn't turned it off at all and quickly pressed pause before turning it off all together. Drapping headphones over her neck allowing them to dangle. Cemetaries were meant to be in peace and kept that way. At least that had, of course, been what she was taught from her parents. Frowning suddenly from that small thought. On a light side, no one would come looking for her; except for one person, but that rarely counted. Circumstances only mattered when it came to that. Trying to busy thoughts from refraining from humming or singing at all. Dark eyes looking around at head stones rather caerfully while picking her way through the graves at the same time. Even in the night with the moon playing hide - and - seek with some clouds drifting by it, she'd still managed to find one in particular. Picking her way gingerly across to it, eyes settling on the wilting roses first. Those would need changing before the end of the month for sure.

Kneeling down while fingering one of the petals. Still good, but the roses would need changing before the month was up at most. After inspecting the flowers condition, resting elbows on knees while looking at the head stone in front of her. Smiling lightly inhaling cool night air. How would she start this time? Of course holding conversations with oneself would be weird, but still, someone would hear her. At least that'd be her intention. Tugging on the ends of her hair, making a face at nothing and no one in particular. Mumbling something to herself before words actually began to spill from her lips. "Okay, well everyone says 'hi'. Eh, not everyone, but you know who I'm talking about right? Anyways the flowers will need to get changed soon, yellow seems such a lovely color and it means remembrance. Or so I've been told at least." Pausing for a few seconds as a wind stirred up some leaves and rustled branches from a near by tree. Aislinn really never had been much of a talker even when it came to this, somehow words seemed to be at a lose. Which made her feel terrible. Drawing in another small breath while wondering what on earth to say next. Leaves rustled about and danced around in the breeze before falling down only to be picked up by another gentle breeze passing by. "Wow, I really am bad at this, huh? Everything seems to be going well, no need to worry." Of course that hadn't really been the truth, she wouldn't say so aloud though. Tilting head back just to look up at the sky dotted with it's tiny stars and silver moon.

Patting knees before standing up, staying still for a few seconds to prevent from stumbling. Kneeling for a while had that kind of affect. That and she really didn't want to end up laying on the ground for three minutes like last time. Quietly saying 'good - bye' as she walked away from the grave. Looking around, five minutes had gone and passed that much she knew. Roughly, guessing of course, perhaps ten or twelve minutes had passed at most. Resting hands in the comfort of the jean pockets while passing by a few other head stones. Now she could kind of see why Lexxy thought that this place seemed eerie. Unfortunatly the only thing that she couldn't 'see' was why her friend freaked out whenever the girl neared one. Not only that, but it seemed as if Lexxy had a radar of sorts when a graveyard would come up on a street. Aislinn found that both odd and slightly weird, but what could she say? She talked to a tombstone monthly if not bi - monthly. So there really hadn't been much room for her own opinions on that matter. The iron wrought fence suddenly came into view as her pace quickened. She really had no problems with graveyards, empty ones? Not so much. Ones with people? Just odd, clear out odd. Most others were used to seeing Aislinn in the graveyard by now. They didn't think of it as strange or even borderline weird for that matter. Stepping out from the graveyard brought an odd air of sorts. There could be no way that she'd feel nervous, right? No, that'd only be adding un - needed fuel to some non - exsitant fire, of course she'd been nervous. Sighing rather loudly, irritation could be heard if one listened close. Quietly chastising herself for those actions.

Pulling hands out from the comfort of the pockets and putting headphones back into her ears. Turning up the volume ever so slightly to block out everything else. Exactly what needed to be done, drown out any thoughts at all and not letting any of them run loose like rabbits after carrots. Repeating the same song she'd been listening to when they were walking to the graveyard. Humming along with the song not even bothering to sing this time. That would probably bring un - needed and un - wanted attention. "Hm, key? Check," mumbling to herself. Really not wanting to lock herself out of the apartment building again, the last time that happened all heck broke loose. On the plus side there were barely any nosy neighbors present, that and no one barely stayed in the apartment building aside from Aislinn and who she stayed with along with a small handful of others; perhaps three. She didn't feel like going through the same conversation again. By now all the words had been memorized verbatim. Although they wouldn't be recited back unless asked to. Feeling lonely without the presence of her friends around her. "Alright, that's it, singing time." Talking in a sing - song voice. "I can't stand seeing you anymore, I'll kick you away. You better run run run run run." Singing to Run Devil Run by SNSD. Knowing the english lyrics by memory and from watching one to many english subbed videos. Switching from humming to singing every few minutes. If she really wanted to she could have skipped down the street, but for once, she for one, had had enough attention that Lexxy's spazz attack had drawn. Though no one would really bother her all too much seeing as there headphones in her ears and she was keeping mostly to herself.

One thing, however, set her completely on edge. The sidewalks, streets even for that matter, were empty. Not entirely empty as there were some other people here and there, but still not much. The hairs on the back of her neck suddenly shot up. Perfect. More strangeness, exactly what she needed. Closing eyes for a few seconds before opening them, trying to ward away the thoughts that began piling up. Each one having some case scenario going on within her minds eye. Damn, can't I get a break? Please? What did I do to deserve this? Had been her only thought as her feet stopped moving, planting her in one spot. Oh great, nerves had gotten the better of her. Dammit! Swearing as nothing happened, closing eyes again counting to three until she tried walking again. This time her feet obeyed and moved. With less people around it made it worse for her and caused the nerves to just jump around like popcorn kernals being popped. Stop thinking of whatever comes to mind! It's not like the worse that can happen will happen, besides, staying calm is best. Stop freaking out so much, scolding herself.

The caramel haired Asian American girl sat rather rigid in the passenger seat of the seemingly old Chevy Malibu 1983. Something like this, she wasn't used to this. Sure, new things weren't bad and all but this, this just seemed well...would different even be perfect for this kind of situation? "Dies scheint ein bisschen zu viel." Muttering to herself in German before lightly biting her tongue. It had though, seemed a bit much; not all what she had been expecting. Not such a good idea when someone can't really understand what one is saying, at least the chauffeur or Mr. Alans, didn't ask what she had just muttered. Deciding it would be best to just be quiet for now since that would likely be her best bet. Completely missing what had been said to her, eyes snapping up from looking down at somewhat shaky hands. Generally the girl wasn't the nervous type, but she considered that this would be an exception of sorts. Hearing her name again, thoughts suddenly shattered, falling piece by piece around her before coming back to realization what was going on and where she was. "Ms. Willows?" Mr. Alans' voice completely snapped her back to reality. "I-I'm sorry, could you please repeat yourself? Ah, and don't call me 'Ms. Willows' just Carly, please." Carly's voice answered quietly, still at a level where one could be heard speaking. Being called 'Ms' seemed strange seeing how as Carly was used to being called only 'Carly'. Plus somehow 'Ms' just seemed completely foreign to the slightly nervous girl.

"Well then Carly, may I ask what you just said?" He asked. Giving off a bit of a sheepish grin she realized that it wouldn't be simple just to come out and randomly speaking German whenever. It would take a while for her to adjust to not being able to speak in the language she had gotten so used too. Although however one looked at it, the literal translation would seem odd to some since after her father told her about what would happen, for some reason Carly just began to speak less in German. Making sure to keep up with the language that had been so familiar to her while in this new country. Thinking perhaps it would be wise or kind at least to answer back in English or tell him what it had been that she had said. Hazel eyes looked back down at her skirt which laid over her jeans. Buying time wouldn't help too much either, seeing how as there were only two people present in the car; her and the chauffeur. Letting out a little sigh before finding her voice to answer, "First, I apologize about that, keep forgetting that I'm not in Germany any more. What I said was 'this seems a little too much'." Carly left it at that before occupying herself by twirling the rose ring around her index finger. Trying to keep from muttering anything else that would catch the man's attention. He must have caught onto her hint and decided not to speak either seeing how she happened to already be quite nervous now than a few minutes ago No more words were exchanged as she sat there fiddling with her rose ring. Eyes looking out the window, watching the few things that passed by here and there.

After a few minutes her hazel eyes glanced back towards the front momentarily to see gates. It seemed like only a few minutes before when Carly had been picked up from the air port. Though jet lag did nothing to her, despite the long flight; it had done nothing, not even made her sleepy. That would have made things simple but simple didn't seem to be in any of those 'mapped' out plans for her. Slowly getting out of the car in what seemed to be more cation than to take in what the Boarding School looked like. Gently closing her car door before actually taking a good look at her current surroundings. Somehow just looking at those surroundings seemed to just calm Carly's nerves somehow. Turning around sharply on her heel to retrieve her messenger bag and two green duffel bags that had recently been 'patch worked' together by various pieces of cloth here and there. One could tell those duffel bags had been patch worked without looking at the various pieces of cloth here and there, perhaps it could be the kind of thread that the seventeen year old had used. Either that, or one would notice the odd stitched up designs on the bottom. Giving Mr. Alans a little smile while picking up her bags, Carly attempted to stretch out the gray hoodie a bit in a rather vain attempt of trying to hide the skirt a little bit. At least that had been accomplished, sort of.

Heading off towards where her new 'room' would be, Carly managed only get lost once. Which was rather rare seeing how as she could navigate rather perfectly. Though that wouldn't be the case with this boarding school, it would take a little while of getting used to; before her memory would make a mental map that was. Paying very little attention of the number that had been etched onto her room key still catching it's number though; number 099. Didn't seem like too much distance although Carly bit her tongue to refrain from making a random comment. Finding her room, hazel eyes staring rather fixated on the door before actually putting the key into the lock and opening it. Interesting style, nothing like what Carly was used too; but still she liked anything new or different. Placing her messenger bag gently by the bed before sliding the duffel bags off of her now tired arms. Hazel eyes caught sight of something sitting on her bed, an envelope. Carefully picking it up as her eyes just looked it over, after inspecting it for a good two or three minutes; she finally tore open the top carefully with her thumb nail.

Reading over it's contents twice just to make sure she wasn't hallucinating or anything. There could be no way that someone would think that Carly would up and leave her room after looking at the contents of the envelope. At least a map had been enclosed otherwise she'd be wandering around for a little while. Glancing at the map before folding it up, tucking it away in the pocket of her jeans. "Did I do something to upset the balance of the universe? Well, not the universe...but something like that. No one's going to answer back, so I'm just talking to myself." Carly muttered while twisting some of the plaid skirt's tulle around in a slighlty fisted hand. Letting go of the material, mentally reminding herself to take off the layer over her jeans. Still quite unsure of how things worked around this new place.

What I got to say to make you let me get away with it this time.
I know you're upset and that
you're happy just to sit and stare at me,
But I'll make a b e t that you'll be
better to forget about me,
Even better yet I'll let a little
l i g h t melt the ice, ice baby!

The raven haired female stared up blankly at the walls. There really hadn't been much of anything for her to do at that second in time. Not that it would've really mattered regardless, she was an early riser for reasons still unknown to her. While others weren't really early risers and preferred to stay in the comfort and warmth of their beds, she didn't. For some reason the female was up and about earlier than most others and probably had as much hyperactivity as that of a bouncy ball so early in the morning. While others preferred sleep over getting up, or sleeping in and trying to attempt murder on their alarm clocks she was about as wide awake as that of a little kid wanting to watch early morning cartoons. However on this morning something had oddly been irritating her. Although the question of 'what' would be rather difficult to get out of the hard headed female. Hugging an over - sized, white teddy bear with bead black eyes that clearly reflected everything. Chin resting atop its soft head, white surgical mask pulled down to allow 'breathing room'. The white eerily contrasted with the dark haired female's ivory skin. "You know what, Marshmallow?" Her voice came out soft at first, then rose an octave when the stuffed animals name was mentioned. Of course it couldn't talk back as much as she would find that interesting and possibly amazing, it wouldn't happen. Maybe that was why the others treated her like a little kid other than her age? Shrugging lightly at that mere thought, turning head to where her cheek now rested atop the soft white fuzz of the bear's head. Hazel, nearly dark brown eyes just stared at nothing in particular. "I must be crazy or something, sorry Marshmallow." Apologizing to the stuffed animal, no wonder no one took her all too seriously.

Frown now etched across pale pink lips while still staring rather aimlessly at the wall in front of her. Shifting, now sitting cross legged rather than with legs stretched out in front of her. Sniffling slightly, nose now wrinkled in disgust, one hand resting around Marshmallow's fluffy hidden neck. Using her free hand to pull the white surgical mask over nose and mouth. Behind the fabric one couldn't see the frown and look of disgust. Smoke, that had been the only thing that her nose had picked up. Probably from someone cooking, no doubt. Coughing, rather loudly, although not intentionally. How irritable, as if the smell of smoke weren't bad enough, the other pollutants in the city often didn't help all too much either. No windows were open though, so that had been somewhat of a tiny plus.

For some reason all Kam wanted to do was flop down on the floor and roll around. She wasn't sure why, maybe that'd help her wake up some more? It sure beat talking to a stuffed animal, no matter how much Kamryn loved Marshmallow she couldn't cling onto the stuffed animal forever. Quite literally. Actually managing to flop back onto her back, but not bothering to roll around. Rather, instead, clinging more tightly to Marshmallow. Kam really wasn't sure what to do so early in the morning. There really hadn't been much for her to do as of late. Sure Kamryn could fight, but only when someone needed the dark haired female's assitance. It proved difficult not to be reckless. Which would be difficult in itself seeing as 'reckless' just seemed like that vocabulary word that would never go away.

Stomach suddenly growling causing Kamryn to groan. Great. Being one of the few that decided it'd be fantastic to get up early she had completely forgotten to eat something. That normally happened when the female would just sit and complain to the stuffed animal. Too bad you can't talk back. Ugh, not hungry... She thought, trying rather vainly to think of something else. Rolling over on her side and curling up slightly in a sort of fetal position. Closing eyes and slowly counting to ten. One, woke up to early. Two, how could everyone else sleep? Three, what was she doing up so early? Four, crepes. Her dark eyes suddenly snapped open like blinds that were being pulled up quickly. Crepes? That caused her to bolt back up into sitting position. At least she'd gotten to four, normally counting with her thoughts mingled in often helped. Although how the thought of crepes came to mind made her wonder. Maybe she really had been hungry after all and just chose to ignore it. Clicking tongue on the roof of her mouth. Sitting still, not wanting at all to get up. Now all she wanted to do was flop on her back and act like a turtle that couldn't get up.

Flopping back down once again, eyes staring rather aimlessly towards the ceiling. Squinting onyx eyes suddenly while seemingly observing the rather boring painted wall above her. Almost as though she were searching for something, or could see something that no one else could really see. Waking up early generally did this to Kam. After some time she'd merely get bored at nothing to do and just stare at something, like a wall or picture without even knowing it. Kind of like how when someone was daydreaming. One could have said the same for Kam as she just laid still, eyes in focus still above her. After being awake for just a few minutes, even an hour at times, the female became extremely bored and would often just lay around.

There had been another time when their mother chose to talk to Taylor. It hadn't been that she was anti - social, no, she just didn't like to go out like the others. Lest it be in the backyard dribbling around a soccer ball. On this day however, she'd been sitting on the grass legs criss - crossed in what they would 'criss - cross - apple sauce' to a kid. Arms carefully crossed over her chest. Giving their mother un - divded and full attention. Something had seemed off, but Taylor wouldn't say it. Not out loud she wouldn't. Waiting perhaps only to see if it'd been some feeling or just something from her imagination. Shaking head lightly trying rather vainly to get some bangs to move. She wasn't going to move. Not until their mother spoke. That would determine the severity of the situation.

"Taylor," she'd started, causing the blonde female's ears to suddenly perk up. Straining ears for anything. Right then that backyard suddenly seemed so small. So, so small. Her pale pink lips pursued together in a straight line, staring straight ahead. Refusing at that moment for any eye contact. Obviously she'd been waiting for the blonde to respond back. "Yes mom?" Words coming out carefully. Barely any tone at all could be traced within her voice. "I've been thinking that maybe a holiday might be great for me. That you and your brothers and sisters could go to the cabin. The one that your father bought?" at that she only nodded her head, almost out of habit. Flinching lightly at the word 'father'. Trying not to show it.

Shaking head again for some loose hair to get out from her eyes. Wait, cabin? Her hazel eyes suddenly darted towards her mother, searching for any signs of some joke, she wasn't. And probably wouldn't about something like that. Seeing that she had Taylor's full attention she continued. "You can all go there until I come back." Punishment, that had been the absolute first thought that entered through her mind. After that everything seemed almost in a railroad, train track wreck. Mostly everything had just flashed by in somewhat of a blur.

                                          . . . .

So here she was now, a week later, in the confines of her room at the cabin. Looking up with that blank stare up towards the ceiling. For the past two and a half hours she'd just been staring at nothing in particular. The color of walls and ceilings actually starting to burn her eyes. Rubbing one curled fisted hand at eyes. Waking up early really hadn't been anything new for Taylor. Perhaps because of her brothers and sisters, having to keep up with them? Eyes catching the suddenly little glint on her nails. Nail polish. Damn. At least the color had been neutral, somewhat of a blue - ish green. Too bad it didn't go with half of the clothes she wore. Whatever. Shrugging lightly at that before dropping hand and allowing it to dangle over the edge of the bed, the other now resting across her stomach.

Actually losing how long she had been up. Eight o'clock, maybe even seven - thirty about. It just like she hadn't had enough sleep, either to little or to much. Rolling over on her side, pulling at the pair of jeans for the day. Tugging at the ends where her ankles were before giving up once again. Not really wanting to be inside but not really wanting to be outside either. Ah, the predicament. Clicking thumb nail against another nail, making small 'click - click' noises. Stopping just a second later, frown clearly etched across her features. Out of lack of better judgement of wanting to do something her hand reached for her cell phone and slide it open. Glancing at the time, but also noticing there weren't any texts (clearly who would be in their right mind to text her?) or missed calls. Figured. Oh well if it really was something important then someone would call her. Mainly 'someone' meant from within the family, siblings and half siblings alike. Sliding cell shut before gently placing it on the floor knowing otherwise that if it just happened to be 'accidentally' discarded on the floor like the last one then that'd be it. No more cell's. Thus the gentleness that this current one was getting.

Stretching arms out feeling her head feel somewhat dizzy. That normally happened when one stood up. Apparently it could also happen while one was lying down staring at nothing. Mornings were such a drag. Sitting up Taylor actually felt how heavy her head had been after that small stretch, seeing colorful dots dance before her eyes. Blinking a few times for them to go away. Opening eyes for the last time as if someone had shocked her. Good, no more fuzzy dots could be seen. Letting out a yawn before bringing up the back of her hand fingers brushing against her nose. Alright, that was it. She had to do something. Whether it be going outside for a few minutes or just wandering around in the cabin she just could not stay in this room. Finally deciding to get up after staring up at the ceiling for quite some time. Flopping back onto her back, rolling towards the side of the bed knowing good and well that she was near close to tumbling off. Placing one hand out as if somehow that would help ease the balance. And in a way, it sort of did. Carefully continuing to slide off from the bed in her odd way. On hands and knees now Taylor stood up and stretched her arms up. Feeling light headed again although that didn't bother her.

Taking up a slender, sleek iPod. Tugging at the short socks on her feet. Out of everyone else she had to be the odd one wearing jeans in crazy weather and half socks too. Un - winding headphones from iPod before placing them in her ears. Opening up the door to the room, sliding out as quietly as possible while typing in a code. That code always annoyed the blonde, but still, it would keep others from getting any access at all to the iPod. Sure if they had it in their possession, fine, but they wouldn't be able to figure out the four digit code. Choosing a song at random. As it turned out it ended up being Routine And Dollar Signs by Goodnight Sunrise. Adjusting the volume before beginning her morning by wandering about the cabin. Letting out yet another yawn this one seemed somewhat more strained than the last.
