However, it is limited; her power cannot restore lost blood, therefore it does not guarantee survival. The more serious the wound, the more power she must use in order to mend it. Healing for an extended amount of time will leave her fatigued for about a day after, during this time her magic power is not as potent.

                                            BEHIND THE SMILE

                                                    personality

Nali is a hard-working person who strives to get a job done (despite the occasional do-it-at-another-time moment), no matter how tiring it may be. When she fails, or feels she has failed, she profusely apologizes while making the promise to do extra work to make up for it, as she wants to be seen as someone who is capable of doing their job right, someone who is willing to face and correct their mistakes.

Ever since she was young, Nali has enjoyed a good prank in harmless fun. Be it leaving an unwelcome critter at someone's doorstep or swapping an item with something else, she was always up for a good laugh. Her brother is responsible for bringing out such mischievous behavior, making his baby sister his honorary partner in crime. Since she has gotten older, Nali has moved on from the more crazy pranks she did as a child, though she still enjoys making the staff members she is not fond of scream over a harmless spider skittering along a wall.

While she may enjoy a prank or two, at heart Nalina is a sweet-natured girl who approaches others with a friendly air. She does not consider herself very wise, but she will offer the best of advice she can to someone in need of it, as well she is more than happy to lend her ears to them. Mild-tempered, it can take some doing to get her very angry, although her patience does have a tendency to wear thin on occasion. Her desire to help those who are ill is what fuel's her pursuit of medicine, as she cannot stand to see the sick and wounded suffer.

Growing up a commoner and seeing those with less than she had has made her grateful for what her family has. No part of a meal she eats is wasted, and she is disgusted with nobles who show little to no gratitude for their fortunate upbringing.

Nali isn't particularly clumsy, but she can be when she is in a hurry; unintentionally bumping into someone or something after turning a corner or passing the door she is supposed to enter are the more common occurrences in her haste.

Aside from playing pranks, Nali enjoys teasing those close to her, poking fun at them for a particular interest or getting them to believe she is angry with them, only to turn back to them with a sly smile on her face.

Like many children, Nali was told to treat her elders and rulers with the utmost respect. Coming into the castle as a servant has put these teachings to the test; she refrains from speaking too casually, instead addressing those she serves politely and properly. It is, however, difficult to show such respect to those she feels do not deserve it.

While Nali does have a good work ethic, there are occasions where she does put off a meager task for something else. At times intentional, other times she simply forgot, she is still scolded for it regardless by a staff member for her procrastination.

                                                    biography
In their younger days, Nali's parents were two lovebirds who couldn't wait to get married. Her father, a skilled hunter, met her mother during a festival, having blindly bumped into each other by accident. A barrage of apologies turned into a pleasant conversation, and the two became fast friends, spending much of their time together. A year passed before their friendship blossomed into something more, and after a few months, he asked her father for his blessing, to which he happily gave. Though her mother was not a full-time hunter, she did enjoy an occasional outing with her fiance. Her real skill lied with the needle, making beautiful clothes for the shop she and her mother owned. A few more months passed before they were wed, and they were blessed with their first son. Like his father, Nali's brother learned how to hunt, trap, and tame the wild creatures, showing progress at such a young age. About half a year after he turned six, Nali was born, and it was at this very moment he became the typical overprotective brother who wouldn't let boys within three feet of his baby sister.

Nali's childhood was a rather typical one; all around a well-behaved child who got into the occasional trouble with her brother, thanks to his influence. For this the siblings received many a scolding, mainly from their mother who wanted her daughter to have proper etiquette. When they were not causing trouble, her brother would take her to the safe areas of the woods, teaching and introducing her to new plants and animals she had not yet seen. Nalina quickly developed a love for flowers, and enjoyed the relaxing aroma of herbs. Out of curiosity, she began to read about plants, learning their uses as cooking ingredients and medicine. The latter piqued her young mind the most, as she tried to be the one to take care of a family member who got even the slightest bit sick.
One day while on a practice hunt with their father, Nali's brother had been caught off guard when a poisonous snake bit his leg. Though the poison was not as potent or lethal compared to other serpents, it still took it's toll on his health, leaving him bedridden while he recovered. As her brother was someone she looked up to and loved dearly, Nali was quick to her books and discover the correct antidote for the particular bite. With some help from a family friend who had experience with bites, Nali was able to concoct the remedy. Much to her brother's hesitance, he put his trust in his sister and drank the substance. As she had been told, the results were not instant, but his health did slowly begin to return. It was weeks before he could properly stand without feeling dizzy, but it was not too long before he was once again able to take his bow.

Nali felt relieved and accomplished, feeling the path of medicine was her true calling, though her mother said her interests could change as she got older. As years passed, Nali learned conjure her magic magic, but kept the majority of her focus on medicinal plants that cured ailments such as poison or pain. She foraged and grew her own plants, gaining a interest in gardening; every room in her house had at least one pot of flowers in it, much to her brother's annoyance.
One day, she caught word the royal family was short of a servant. As she had not found work, and wanted to help support her family, Nalina went to the castle to apply, accepted out of a small number of other young women. Though deep down she dreaded the presence of over-privileged nobles, knowing she was supporting her family was worth it. A few months have passed since she started her work. She studies in her free time and pulls pranks on certain staff members, usually to get back at them for something.
