"No matter what, I have to keep moving forward. The past is not my prison!"

• Name :: Aoi Aoyama.
• Nickname(s) :: N/A.
• Birthday :: July 23rd.
• Age :: Seventeen.
• Occupation :: Student.
• Species :: Human.
• Gender :: Female.
• Physical Description :: Aoi is proportioned rather normally, holding the typical weight, height, and build of a high school girl. Her skin tone is a rather pasty beige, but healthy for someone as moderately fit as she is. It is blemished due to teenagedom, but nothing that couldn't be remedied with a few scrubs and washes. Her hair is a dusty shade of powder blue, leveled off at her nape in a neat trim. Her bangs are rather long and scrape just above her top eyelids. She blinks to the world a lovely shade of medium blue eyes that appear quite inquisitive and charming. This is mirrored in her stance, which near always looks scrutinizing.

Fashion :: Aoi's full interest revolves around punk fashion although she only owns one outfit that fits the style: her stage clothes. With the contempt of her mother dawning on her, Aoi sticks to graphic tees and faded jeans to display her tomboyish side, but still feel relatively comfortable. She avoids long skirts like the plague, saying she, "feels like a nun" when she dons one that flows passed her thighs. Her second most common outfit is her school uniform, which she is neutral towards, since it is required attire. Yet, she awaits the day she can trade in the sweater vest and pleated skirt combo if her band ever takes up more of her time. She is attached to a cheap bow headband she constantly dons. It holds no significance either than being her favorite accessory, but she does grow irritable if she happens to lose it.

• Family :: Midori Aoyama (mother; divorced; living with); Hiroshi Aoyama (father; divorced), Junpei Aoyama (twin brother; deceased).

• Band mates :: Fuji Fukushima (lead vocalist in Augment), Keiji Kentaro (secondary vocalist and bassist), Ryoko Ryusaki (guitarist).

• Likes :: Playing the drums, dancing, her cat, sleeping, alternative rock, horror movies, iced tea, being amongst her friends, summer.
• Dislikes :: Exams, cooking, plain yogurt, mirrors, cold weather, long skirts, stomach aches, letting people (especially her friends) down.

• Personality :: Aoi's a geek and she knows it. Yet, she isn't afraid to flaunt her Star Wars knowledge or float about in a skin-type bodysuit to cosplay her flamboyantly sexy OC. One thing Aoi isn't afraid of is being her own person. If momma pushes it, of course it isn't wrong! The "normies" as she refers to those who look down on her individuality just don't, quote, "understan' her amazin' sense of self!" End quote. Like stated before, to Aoi, they don't need to understand. She will and forever have her collection of homies willing to always play a round of Dungeon and Dragons or watch terrible movies just for their infamous forty second girl-on-girl make out scenes. Aoi has her life of splendor and no wise crackin' fool is gonna bring that happiness down.

She may not be her band's 'leader', but Aoi definitely knows how to be assertive and lay down rules that need apply to any circumstance that may arise. When she states a command, she hopes it to be followed fully, but is quite open to any improvement if someone boasts a complaint or makes a suggestion. It is this openness many see the potential of a leader, but it is her willingness to back down in favor of another when others turn this thought around. In actuality, Aoi sees herself more as the little curled hooks on a strip of velcro. She is not the main component of such a simple invention, but a link that keeps the unity of her band. Aoi tends to hold this self-accounted position with pride, arguing if it wasn't for her, Augment would've split long ago. Surprisingly, other bad members agree because her song, "Heterochromia" is the reason they made it to the top of infamy for a short period.

Since the times of tiny tot days, Aoi has aspired to be a super hero. She has always admired their amazing abilities, bulging ripples of non-oiled muscles and brighter than sunshine costumes. It wasn't even the fact they always triumphed that amazed her. No -- it was always them. They were so damned intriguing . . . the very definition of manliness that set her neurons boiling. Superman, Spiderman, Wolverine, Captain America, Hulk . . . all those famous male superheros are honored like infamous sex gods to her little tomboyish mind. Unfortunately, this example of prime manly rib has grown to some other ultimate Adam. Aoi has morphed her fantasies to an overdeveloped sense of courage. Though completely brave and willing to do anything in the name of justice, she sometimes doesn't know her own limitations. The poor gal has become the stereotypical outcome of bullying and otherwise for having her tighties a little too tight. However, those occurrences have never brought down her spirits. Gotta keep your chin up, 'cause she knows everyone's got their kryptonite.

Aoi is a bit full of herself. Okay, well, no, the sophomore thinks she's the best damn thing ever to be crafted by whatever-god-or-goddess-up-in-those-cloud's hands. Though she is average when it comes to looks, not too athletic, and limited to only being talented at banging on drums like a rapid squirrel on LSD, her self opinion is quite high. This has incarnated a need to be known and is likely the reason she is so rambunctious and loud amongst her school populace. No one knows her name, but she has been attributed to being known as the, "pale, skinny chick who is always so loud." Her lack of civility in public places besides school is also impossible to control. She speak-ups (literally) everywhere, letting her echoing voice be known and heard. Heck, Aoi even brags she has been kicked out of more restaurants than a smoker lighting up a cig for being so voiced. She approximates the total of being at least twenty. If she hadn't such a remarkable talent in playing the drums, the other member's of the band Augment would've voted her to be their lead singer.

Now a days in this present teenage age, nonconformity is the new in. Aoi blasts away that thought. She is still that clingy little girl who runs under their mother's skirts when terrified. That separation of maturity did not stop even after Aoi grew up into middle adolescence. No -- she still requires those happy little hugs and bedtime stories by nightlight. Her mother never sheltered her. In actuality, she encouraged Aoi to be as individualistic as possible to avoid this outcome. Yet, Aoi never broke. She is still extremely fond of the attention brought from her mother. Some have even attributed it to a case of a reverse Electra complex, yet Aoi feels no remorse towards her father. Perhaps Aoi is just fond of the female attention, considering her mother is the only woman who will possibly ever love her. They may always say momma knows best . . . but sometimes you have to earn a little sense of self and start making your own decisions in life. Unfortunately, that seems impossible for Aoi.

Aoi has an overarching fear of mirrors and cannot stand the sight of her reflection for longer than a few minutes without feeling a shortness of breath, palpitations, and increased sweating. The guilt of seeing Junpei's scarred face the day after his car accident was etched in her mind for eternity and she in unable to behold herself without imagining her brother's. Even so, the phobia also extends to a truth: Aoi wishes never to see herself in such a state too. Her brother was a wake-up call of what was to come of recklessness and granted her mental state a valuable, but one careful conscious.

• Background :: Aoi's youth has been fairly mundane. The trials and tribulations of another human being's life has affected her, but over the years came the healing, and she has adapted well to her current circumstance. At age eight, her twin brother died in a car accident, and the blame of his death was hard to place, for both parents were arguing when it occurred. After their loss, her mother and father became quite violent towards each other, blaming each other for losing their son, so a divorce was imminent. At age twelve, Aoi's well-being was handed over to her mother. With her daughter secured in her custody and never allowed to see her father again, Aoi and her mother snagged up their things and took off to the western part of Tokyo. Aoi moved up from middle to high school after a few years.

In high school, Aoi's exuberance let her be known, but not popular. Many did not want to become her friend. To remedy this situation, Aoi turned to internet friendships, and garnered a handful of people to call her friends on a popular music forum. When text and emoticons drew to a limited wall, Aoi grew frustrated, and suggested her friends meet-up in real life. They hesitantly agreed and when they met, Aoi recognized their internet usernames as Fuji Fukushima, Keiji Kentaro, and Ryoko Ryusaki. They were all in high school, but separated evenly throughout the four years: Fuji was a freshmen, Keiji was a junior, and Ryoko was a senior. The four were awkward together and some even suggested they just go back to their virtual ways, but Aoi wouldn't stand it. She suggested they start a band to not only keep themselves together, but also include the very item that brought them closer. The other three reacted even more hesitantly at the idea, but agreed nonetheless, and that is what started the fame of Augment.

The band's title "augment" means to make something greater by adding more. With each of them adding their talents to the band, they became one, but not without a rocky start. None of them knew how to play an instrument, but with encouragement from Aoi, they picked up day jobs to buy the position they wanted. Aoi became the band's official drummer and she couldn't help but feel she deserved the role. When the band garnered enough confidence, they wished to start an original song, and the blue-haired high school student launched at the opportunity. She most certainly wanted to contribute a song, but there was a problem: Aoi had no talent for writing.

That is where her best friend Manabu came in. He was an excellent writer, with hopes of becoming a novelist in the future. As a gag, Aoi conned him into writing a song. He playfully agreed, handing her off something half-assed, but it actually sounded quite good. With a few tweaks, Aoi presented the song, "Heterochromia" to her band mates. This token, but also stolen work, became the pride of their fame.

One day as they were practicing, Ryoko recorded them and than sent a CD off to a nearby radio station. The originality of the song caught the ears of a producer, and Augment became famous for a hit single. Their fame and fun only lasted a few months before they became old news. Longing for the brighter world of media once again, Aoi's band mates dogged her to write a new song, and Aoi did not know how to live up to their expectations when the work wasn't hers. Aoi gave them a yes, stating she'd give them something new by a week's end.

Manabu, too, did not take too well to Aoi's theft. Their relationship grew strained, but Manabu, who had always held tight emotions for his best friend, came to a deal with Aoi. If she agreed to be his willing girlfriend, he'd continue to page off songs for her and her band mates to play. Aoi, who never held any emotions for Manabu at all (she had a raging crush on Keiji), agreed just to quell the cries of her friends and live up to their wants.

• Trivia :: Aoi owns a Russian Blue cat named Sini.

Aoi was named after her grandmother on her father's side.

Aoi is prepared to drop out of high school if her band fame continues to occupy her time.

"I am a free woman first, a mother last."

• Name :: Shinju Mizushima.
• Nickname(s) :: N/A.
• Birthday :: June 22nd.
• Age :: Thirty-five.
• Occupation :: CEO of the jewelery establishment, 'SHELL'.
• Species :: Human.
• Gender :: Female.
• Physical Description :: Shinju is rounded and slightly plump, with evident love handles and medium biceps, thighs and bosom. Her skin is an wash of paleness reflecting a healthy glow. She is a strawberry brunette with hair that is a frothy mess of curls that falls to about mid-back. Rarely does she clip it up. Her eyes are wide and lively in a medium shade of turquoise blue. They are arched due to her Japanese heritage.

Fashion :: Her daily outfit usually consists of long skirts and comfortable, casual but businessesque collared shirts. Outside her company walls, she dresses more fashionably. Typically sporting expensive but simple styled dresses and accessorizing minimally with jewelery from her line. A majority of the time she sports her pearl products (her least popular items) in attempts to raise their sales, but it is not odd to see her wear several silver rings or a chain around her neck either. Shinju can also be seen bouncing around town in a sunny, yellow sunflower dress. This is typically worn on her off days.

• Family :: Arashi Mizushima (father; deceased), Sango Mizushima (mother; deceased), Umiko Mizushima (twin sister), Shinju Mizushima (daughter).

• Likes :: Pearls, sweets, her company, designing, jewelery, social gatherings, attention, money, sex.
• Dislikes :: Being ignored, loud noises, cramps, her daughter, competition, feeling inferior, tangled hair, tomato soup, guilt.

• Personality :: Shinju has no fear of what exists beyond the horizon of those questionable and unknown to human knowledge. If given the chance, this firecracker will burst through with great elation to discover an answer unknown to herself. This has made her a philomath, as her seeking for knowledge is overcome by the amount of questions she asks herself. She misses school greatly even though she chose to drop out after her second year to take charge of her father's company. This curiosity even stems over to her social talents. Shinju adores learning things from people, curious what makes them who they are. She embraces her social curiousness openly. It is one of her greatest respects as a person, as her natural ability to uncover information helps with the promotion of business.

Shinju is an avid conversationalist and great entertainer. Living in the higher economic class of Japan makes it an almost requirement one know how to entertain their guests. Due to this, anyone amidst the young woman's company is bathed in galore as they are treated by the best of the best. There is never a dull moment with this diamond and the glimmer of shining fun is always evident. It is by this single factor Shinju has connected with much of her prime -- most of the upper class know never to deny a chance at extravagant food or wine. It is by this, unfortunately, Shinju also has tight connections with leading people of business. She seems to care not however, as the glamorous first impression eases her closer to full success of SHELL. Yet, even to those of middle class or lower are showered in lovely moments and gifts. Constantly used to the days of trying to impress, Shinju always tries her best to sprinkle the sugar.

In order to run a company, be it larger than life or as small as a pearl, one must have a good noggin upon their shoulders. Shinju had always aspired to be like her father when she was a child. Since young, she has spent her days sneaking ears into company meetings and mimicking from her father's leadership. School children (especially rebellious boys) were never fond of her taking charge, but it has been quite the tip all her life. Now that she has inherited her father's company, she shines brighter than our Sol with her careful choices and leadership. Her company has been brimming with success thanks to her palm.

Shinju's smile is like injecting a sweet, syrupy drug directly into the bloodstream. It is forever quick to bloom and slow to fade, spreading across her lovely lips like afternoon sun. Even when there is a saddening matter bringing her down, she is capable of relieving herself with a light smile. Unlike her father who curled inside the confines of his office when depressed, Shinju has an incredible forbearance against sadness. Nothing ticks Shinju off more than a depressed mess stretching a tongue about to lick their own wounds. No, she won't be one to mend them for healing but she will prep the person to take care of the scraps themselves. Sorrows to misery cannot steal away her joys of life, the barricade known as a brawny bosom keeping them at bay.

When Shinju has a task tightened in her mind, she does whatever it takes to get what she wants. Her determination is unshakeable and she remains a huffy piece of work to shy away when she makes a choice. Shinju still has dreams -- some possible, some not -- but will use any means necessary to achieve them. She has been known to crack down on people who become obstacles in her path to achieve success; some even bellow she is being unfair for roughing up the weaker people. Even so, she turns up a nose and retorts her adamant trait is justified and correct. Shinju is the absolute value of one -- one for the benefit of herself.

Honesty -- it can help or it can hurt. When it comes to dear Shinju, you better get used to the pain. She won't sugarcoat anything just to sweeten you up. Oh no, no. When she has something hurtful to say, she will never hold her tongue. She has grown up with a father whose tongue never knew less than a good lashing towards others. She has adopted this trait from him, never knowing that what she says is actually hurtful unless the other shows signs of it. However, her bluntness has caused her to lose great opportunities in the past. Offers towards her are retracted often for her simple expressing of a harsh opinion. She has been known to rebuke herself for what she says, but just cannot help it if something just so happens to slip out.

Shinju's success has lead to her rolling in the dough. Since her money trails seem endless, she has become quite careless with her expenses. Shinju sets stacks of paper to the four winds, casting them away in content handfuls. Everyday, money is pulled from her pocket as she visits spas, buys pretty name brand things, and honors compatriots at gourmet restaurants. The more expensive the item, the brighter the sparkling glitter of her eyes. Her tendency to spend is possibly the hardest vice she has to control. Unless she is pampering herself, Shinju notes she is not happy. Bills are usually turned in late and there are many times when Shinju nearly allowed her company to crash simply because money was a problem. Even though she manages time and time again to pull herself up from twisting ankles, she dives right back down some heavy expenses later. If happiness was really affiliated with green, she'd possibly be the most elated woman in all of Asia.

An added weakness for her large spending is her utter love to flaunt it. Shinju just adores the plentiful attention brought on from her expensive items. Her many riches also account for her many insults -- wealth is the underlying reason to any counterargument as she plays the trump, "Well, I can buy anything I want. Can you?" Her favorite item to garner attention is a large, blue sapphire she managed to snatch up from a jewelery firm rival who tried to stick his dingy in a certain place and failed. In payment to keep her lips shut and not start a scandal, Shinju obtained the pretty gem called "Julius' Tear". It has been shipped to museums nationwide (with her on its heels) to be presented to the public. It certainly has made a name for itself and Shinju just loves the compliments of people praising her for its cut and worth.

• Background :: Shinju's father, Arashi, is a native son of Japan's Okinawa, growing up in its capital Naha. Sango grew up in central Kyoto. As young adults, Arashi and Sango longed for fruitful lives away from their homes and family. Both happened upon Tokyo for different reasons; Arashi was attracted by the offer of carrying on his uncle's company and Sango dreamed of becoming a model after falling head over heels for urban fashion. Ending up in the so-called "City of Light" by chance opportunities, the two were attracted to each other at a bar when Arashi began to shamelessly hit on her through his half-drunken stupor. At first, Sango tried to ignore him. However, as she guzzled down the drinks and got buzzed, one thing led to another and they hit it off. They got along so well, actually, Arashi even managed to persuade Sango into bed the same night. Heck, he was so great, Arashi even managed to have her become his girlfriend.

A year and a half into their relationship, the two hurried from dating to marriage, and Sango bore Shinju and Umiko. Their marriage was rocky for a few years with Arashi pushing to make his jewelry firm popular and Sango trying to make it as a model. Eventually, when their attempts failed, both settled into simple lifestyles. Arashi worked with what profits he could make from his company and Sango dropped from the fashion world to become a typical housewife. When the twins turned eighteen, their parents died from a car accident brought on from a teen texting behind the wheel.

As a child growing up, Shinju was completely attached to her parents. She was absorbed by their constant attention to her and a strong bond was the fruition of their love. Shinju adored her father's sternness in the workforce the most and aspired to be just like him when she got older. His strong front became the foundation of who she is today. After both their deaths, Shinju mourned for a short period before raising her head and deciding she couldn't not allow her depression to continue. Their memories will always be in her heart, but she had to live her life to the fullest. Communication with other outside family (such as aunts, uncles, or cousins) is extremely rare. Maybe once or twice in the last five years she has communicated with her aunt, but that's pretty much it. Her extended family has pretty much forgotten her existence after her parents' death. Shinju stills holds a somewhat average relationship with her twin sister, Umiko. However, the two put their own lives first, and find an unconditional love for each other to be a penumbra and hindrance in accordance to their daily lives.

• Trivia :: Shinju absolutely despises her lover's wife and calls her a, "******** piece of s**t."

Strawberry shortcake is her favorite dessert.

Shinju is an atheist.

"I lived to serve."

• Name :: Dantès.
• Nickname(s) :: Zombie monster stalker thing (usually exclaimed).
• Birthday :: Unknown.
• Age :: Unknown.
• Occupation :: Servant/butler to his mistress, Asphodel/Nissa.
• Species :: Immortal human.
• Gender :: Male.
• Physical Description ::

Fashion ::

• Family :: Unknown.

• Likes :: Nissa, Nissa, Nissa, Nissa, Nissa.
• Dislikes :: Everything not Nissa.

• Personality ::

• Background :: Not much is known of Dantès's mistress, Asphodel. Despite her beauty, he knew she was quite wicked being a witch, and found an endless bank of joy cursing others and making their lives utter Hell. Breaking hearts was her favorite pastime, but never did she come to believe the young orphan she took is as a boy would come to harbor a strong admiration for her. He is unsure where his feelings sprang, but he felt they existed all along, and through them, he vowed to forever remain by her side.

However, as he grew older, his heart urged him more than his head. Dantès found himself professing his love for on numerous occasions, dropping hints during conversation, slipping her notes, and eventually, outright telling her. However, Asphodel denied her affections, never giving a reason, but making it quite obvious he'd never be worthy of her. When his love became overbearing, she'd jest and chortle at his attempts. Still, his feelings raged onward, and Dantès found himself obsessing over the woman. Once, he tried to force himself on her, and the witch panicked and cast a hex on him. Asphodel threatened to disown him than, but he pleaded to her, and apologized profusely until she relented and accepted. Unbeknownst to the curse's effects, Dantès remained tame after that incident, and continued to remain mundane by his mistress's side until her death.

With her gone, Dantès attempted suicide by hanging himself, but was surprised to see his plan backfire. Even when he hung from the rope, he could breathe properly. He wasn't dying. He tried different ways to take his life; gouging out his eye, slitting his throat, skinning himself to the bone, but his attempts came to no avail. Putting two and two together, Dantès reasoned the curse Asphodel cast upon him was actually a wonderful gift. Death was beyond him and he'd now become a walking corpse. The hex mixed with his will to see her again kept him long-lived. Dantès promised himself he'd wait for his beloved, no matter how long it took.

As the years passed, a curious Nissa went scouting in the forest near her home.

• Trivia :: Dantès was named after Edmond Dantès from The Count of Monte Cristo.

Nissa was born with type-two congenital analgesia, where she can register a painful stimulus, but does not react accordingly by flinching or withdrawing reflexively from the source. Dantès has a tendency of leaving "love bites" (literally biting her) to mark her as his own. He thinks her lack of response is a sign of acceptance.

Nissa is utterly frightened of Dantès. She has countless nightmares about him.

Dantès finds it utterly adorable when Nissa shrieks in terror.

The left side of Dantès face is partially gone, revealing the bone and a missing eye. It is concealed by his bangs.

The servant's most cherished memento was a locket that contained a curl of hair cut from his mistress's corpse. When he discovered Nissa was Asphodel reborn, he chucked it to a lake, and bought a new locket to replace it, snipping a lock from the slumbering Nissa's head to keep.
