Salutations, Gaians! We have some news for you with regard to our fabulous Project Tickets! If you're not familiar with Project Tickets, each Ticket has its own function and can be used to work with an official Gaia artist to create a new avatar item for Gaia, recolor an existing avatar item, or one of a number of other amazing features!

In the past, each Project Ticket has received its own rules thread, which over time has started to clutter up the Project Custom forum. In an effort to make things easier for everyone to find, and to clean up the clutter, all Project Custom rules and FAQs can now be found in one handy, organized forum thread! If you've ever got questions or concerns regarding what you can do with a specific Project Ticket, this is your one-stop shop for all of them!

Additionally, every Project Ticket now has an order form! Having Project Ticket requests done in an orderly manner will make it easier for us to process each individual Project Ticket request we receive, which will help the overall speed and efficiency with which we can process and complete your request! It will also help you to ensure that everything you want with regard to your item can be included in your request right from the start.

    Please note: If you submitted an email to redeem a Project Ticket prior to this announcement, you don't need to submit another one! However, if you've left out something that we included on the order form, you can reply to your initial email with the additional information. Going forward from today, all submissions should be done with the correct order form.


We've also made a few changes to some specific Project Tickets, to help speed up the process of Project Ticket redemption and item creation! The major changes that have been made today are listed below, but going forward you should refer to the official rules and FAQ, as those will be the ones kept most up-to-date.

  • When redeeming a Project Ticket, be sure to check the FAQ for the ticket you're redeeming, to make sure you send it to the correct email address! When creating a brand-new item, emails should continue to go to project-custom @ gaiaonline.com. However, when using a Project Ticket to recolor an already existing item, your email should be sent to project-recolor @ gaiaonline.com instead!

  • As the Project Rainbow Ticket is our most popular and most frequently redeemed Project Ticket, the rules for that particular ticket have been adjusted a bit for clarity and to ensure that wait times on redeeming them are kept reasonable.

  • In addition, the Project Double Rainbow Ticket has been converted into an expanded version of the Project Rainbow Ticket, to allow for more complex features! If, for example, you want to recolor an item to include a particular glow or pattern that the Project Rainbow Ticket didn't allow for, the Project Double Rainbow Ticket may now allow it! Have you ever wanted to get a recolor just like Starry Planetarium Nekohime? Now you can, with the Project Double Rainbow Ticket!

  • Going forward, all recolors created with a Project Rainbow Ticket or Project Double Rainbow Ticket will go into a Chance Item when complete, even if it is a recolor of an exclusive item.

  • The amount of time Project Custom items will be sold in La Victoire have been changed. Going forward, any Project Ticket item that was previously sold in La Victoire for more than two weeks will be sold for one week.

  • Project Tickets that previously put 1,500 copies of an item in La Victoire (such as the Project Golden Ticket and Project Obsidian Ticket) will now put 1,000 copies of an item in La Victoire, so there is consistency between all tickets.


A number of other small changes have also been implemented, so be sure to check the rules for the specific Project Ticket you intend to redeem, should you have questions.
