                                      Shinahiro is a small rural town quite a ways from the bustling city of Tokyo. In the past, it was rumored to be a favored docking space for pirates. The town's main economy comes from the ocean, so most of the town is located near the shoreline. A variety of street markets are set up daily and display several of the local delicacies. A majority of the town is surrounded by marshlands, which isolates them from the nearest town. In the past, the only way out of the town was by boat, but ever since they built the highway and railroad, travel has become more efficient. Other than cars, trains, cell phones, and social media service provided by the special police force, high technology and urbanism haven't hit this town yet. However, it comes with any regular products and services such as a clinic, school, barber, market, an electrodomestic store, a restaurant, library, etc., otherwise rural scenery prevails.

                            Obey the Gaia ToS, this should go without saying. This means keep all romances and content PG-13. Please be respectful of others while in the ooc. I don't want drama between roleplayers to occur in the ooc, but drama between characters is allowed in the roleplay. Speaking about the ooc, I would mostly like all plotting and planning to be done there. I don't like using off-site communication devices for plotting. I myself don't use Skype so I won't be using it for this roleplay. However, I will allow you to plot through private messages if that is what you prefer. The characters may be students or adults who are teachers. I very much advise there to be interaction outside of the school.

                            I will not make a posting requirement, just post often enough so we all know you're still interested. If you know you're not going to be posting for about a week, please let us know in the ooc (and make sure you quote me) and/or send me a private message to inform me of the situation. I would also like it if you were to provide an estimated day when you will be able to return to the roleplay if possible. Failure to contact either me or the ooc after a week of inactivity will result in me sending you a private message to ask what's up. If you do not answer this message after three days or post in the roleplay or ooc, your character will be removed and someone else will be allowed to take the spot you left open. I will require some sort of posting format but it doesn't need to be anything super fancy. Just an image and a name would suffice.

                            I'm not any sort of grammar nazi, but please try your best to have a handle of the English language. I know we all make mistakes from time to time and I'm no exception but make sure you look through your post to make sure there are no mistakes before posting or you can just run it through a spell checker. I don't want to force a word requirement for a post because I often find trying to meet a certain amount is too taxing. Just provide enough for someone else to respond to.

                            I will accept anime pictures only for the characters. Please add variety to your characters' personalities, I don't want any Mary or Gary Sues. All sexual orientations are accepted but please do not abuse this by creating an overabundance of any particular sexuality. Everyone is allowed to play multiple characters and they can be of the same gender as long as there is a spot open. I plan on the copycat killer to be a student or teacher at the school. If you would like your character to be that person, add that information to the history section of your application. I chose there to be a copycat killer instead of the original mostly because that person would be in their fifties during the present time, and I doubt people would want to play someone that old. However, if by some chance you do want to play the original killer, that's totally fine. You are also welcome to have your characters have some sort of relation to the students that were killed, such friends or family.

                            I will not accept any reserve or profile that has been modified from the code I provided. So, please don't modify the codes. If you find any problem with the codes or have trouble filling out the app/reserve, please contact me. I will do my best to help you because I would love to have you join this roleplay. Post your reserve or application form in app thread, and I'll take a look at it as soon as I can. If accepted, you have two weeks to complete the profile. Post your profiles in a separate thread in the test forums. Send me a PM with a link to your profile thread when you are finished. If I don't receive anything within the time limit, I will send a PM asking if there is any problem. If you fail to respond within three days, I will be forced to boot you from the roleplay and open your spot.

You can say his death wasn't as saddening as Megumi's, but people still believed that even though he wasn't the most pleasant person, he didn't deserve to die like he did. Jin's body was found in the boy's restroom on the second floor of the school. He had the same slash markings as Megumi.

So it's no surprise that when they found her body, that's where she was. For some reason, the killer wanted to make her death look accidental, so they pushed a book shelf on top of her. However, due to the markings on her body, it was obvious that she was murdered.
