Hello! I thought it would be helpful to have a place for people to submit their queries in advance for the next Ask the Staff event. Feel free to post your questions here, questions answered will go in OP of the next event. For those of you who's questions did not get answered, you may post your question here.

Please be sure to follow the Rules and Guidelines posted below. These apply not only to this thread by all Ask the Staff events!

  1. Please keep your posts constructive.
    Posts that are overly abusive towards management, staff or other members of the community will be deleted without warning. Gaian's who are overly negative in Ask the Staff may be permanently removed from participation in this and future events.

  2. One question per post.
    Please only ask one question in your post. Asking more than one question in your post may result in your post getting skipped for not following this.

  3. Repeat posts will be deleted.
    Please only post your question once. Repeated posting of the same question may result in the additional posts being deleted. This is to help keep the noise in the thread down and allow questions by others to be seen.

  4. Do not post support issues.
    Do not post issues regarding account bans, billing issues, warnings, and other support issues. Instead, please file a ticket about them at our Help Center. Questions about support issues may result in your post getting skipped.

  5. Not all questions will be answered.
    This may occur because at present- they do not have an answer, it was already answered, because it was missed, or because the proper format was not followed in posting the question.

  6. The thread may get locked periodically.
    Should the thread posts grow faster than we can handle, we may temporarily lock the thread while we catch up. We will post if the lock is because of us catching up, or due to the event being over.

Other people have asked about updating the Arenas in the past but I think each time you ask for requests on how to update.
I have complied a list of ideas in this thread in Site Feedback.

I would greatly appreciate if it could be looked into. (this thread is mainly about the Art Arena, however I'm sure the updates would work in the others too)


TLDR:
Update price of entry.
New categories.
Archive old art
Give monthly prizes for each category and maybe one overall.
Advertise the Arenas through the banners (where we get LQI/sale notices)
Have banners in each arena discussion forum, linking/advertising the arena.
Be able to have different info in 'artist info' than what is listed on your profile.

In the past people have requested updates to guilds. I understand from previous answers this is not a current project, however I would like to link you to this thread which has a lot of good ideas for updates to be made to the guilds system.
It also links in one post to a bunch of other peoples threads about updates to guilds too.

Just thought it would be a good idea to show you the ideas people are after for the guilds, so if guilds do ever (hopefully) get updated you know what we're after <3

I love things like the concert ticket.
I love that we get double chances with it.

I HATE that we don't get given the time when double chances end.
Please, I would really appreciate if when you double, or more, the chances of something being won that you have a countdown timer on the announcement like you have in the past.
And if not, then at the very very least PLEASE have a time listed as to when the increased chances end.


I would buy tonnes of the bundles if I knew the increased chances still exist. As I don't I'm a little at a loss guys.

I love GoFusion but when you decided to not re-release the unique charms during the winter event despite having something the required them. In the future could you consider having unique charms as a rare drop in daily chance or at least obtainable in some way? It would give every one a fair chance to craft things from the events.

[Animal]s (desperately) need headbands and other accessories (necklaces, belts, mittens/gloves, bracelets, little collars, etc.. - all those finishing touches to complete an outfit kind of things). Is there any chance we might see this in the near-ish future?

Among other shared items (that both paws and humans have) there are many that the humans have gotten a recolor of, but the paws have not been so fortunate. Please can we have some of these recolors too. Us paws feel left out and neglected, if you look at the cash shop we have 1 row of items (the most recent CI getting one and only one paw item) whereas human avies have more then 1 full page.

I personally would LOVE to see a recolor of [Animal] Imperial Wyvern that is the same as the human's Royal Wyvern as this would match the [Animal] Ifrit's Rage like the imperial matches the [Animal] Fafnir's Sprite item.

Suggestion for the new Inventory Page:
    The serial error seems to be caused by people trying to sell an item from their inventory WITHOUT saving the sorting they've been doing in and out of the storage bins. Perhaps make it impossible to sell to the marketplace until you have saved your inventory.

Could we get a Project Custom for designing our own hairstyles?

You could release it in standard colors at normal drop rates through a CI, while the user gets to pick the six special colorations to be released as a premium, ultra rare drop.

GoFusion is an interesting system and has been since it was announced last July, but I was wondering how the feature tied into the site as a whole. Alchemy was introduced by NPCs, has been featured in the manga, has its own shop, and uses items found all over the site. GoFusion, on the other hand, uses charms, the origins of which have yet to be explained. Is GoFusion tied in any way to the greater Gaia world, and if so, any chance we could learn more about it?

What ever happened to my very dear friend, [NPC] MuffinSprinkles? I'm worried about him. I have lots of theories about the poor dear's fate and have been hoping he would make an appearance each Christmas (he is the cutest kitty on Gaia, after all), but his fans have been left wondering. I would like answers.
