こんにちは！おはようございます！こんばんは！もしもし！これは、D-パーティーです！祭りへようこそ！

Konnichiwa, mina-san! And welcome to the D-Party's very own Festival of the Green Rabbit!
(The Green Rabbit is Diedrich!) This will be out first time trying to put together a traditional
Japanese Festival for Diedrich, but we think we did a very good job.

Every Japanese Festival has a traditional story behind it. Well, not all, but at least the good
ones! So allow me to tell you the traditional story behind the Green Rabbit Festival or Midori no
Usagi Matsuri. The story is ancient, made up my me a few minutes ago, and it is very important
to the heritage of the D-Party People! So once upon a time there was a green rabbit. His name
was Diedrich! He was very handsome and also knew many things! Every time he met a new
person, he quickly learned they were dumb without minds or facts! He knew he had to educate
the people! He used facts to share with the people! They loved him so much that they elected
him dictator and he has been ruling over Gaia ever since. It is because of this that we celebrate
his goodness here at the festival! And it is an excuse to party. We love to party!

So now why don't we try having a fun time? We have all kinds of contests for you to participate,
and we even have our own food booth! Please check it out! We are having a good time!

Don't wear your shoes in doors. We Japanese now.

Please bow when greeting and thanking somebody. I don't know why this is so important, but we
are doing the Japanese Festival thing! We gotta take it seriously!

Do not put hazardous cleaning supplies where Diedrich can reach them.

If you bring any medications into the D-Party, please make sure they are in child-proof bottles.

Diedrich will eat anything he finds so be careful.

One of the best things about Japanese Festivals is the food! When the D-Party was making our
own Japanese Festival, we decided we couldn't possibly nopt have food! So we set up this little
food stall to give it the authentic feeling of a real Summer Festival and not just one we came up
with out of the blue.

Some of our members have volunteered to act as servers of the Japanese cuisine! Please treat
them nicely when you order food and drink! They are trying their best!

Here are the festival foods we have for sale! Drinks, beer and sake are available on request!
Please talk to your server if you see something you want!

Taiyaki
A fish-shaped pastry that is traditionally filled with red bean paste, but modern times have also
brought chocolate or meat. Please specify your filling.

Takoyaki
Japanese dumplings made of batter, diced octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, konnyaku,
and green onion.

Ikayaki
Grilled Squid on a stick.

Yakitori
Tender chicken pieces are grilled, sometimes with various vegetables, on a skewer.

Mitarashi Dango
Three rice dumplings on a stick, with a dash of a sweet and mild shoyu sauce.

Bocchan Dango
Sweet dumplings made from rice flour. Dango that has three colors. One is colored by red
beans, the second by eggs, and the third by green tea.

Onigiri
A ball of rice that is often shaped into a triangle and wrapped with nori for convenient holding.
Sometimes they contain fillings, such as pickled vegetables or meat. Specify if you want a
filling.

Akina Vayne Heartless

Hello there, Akina Heartless here -
I just wanted to say it has been such an amazing time working here at our food both. We have had some many customers and the food is just simply amazing. Since our both is in such popular demand I thought we should add a few more menu items and see how that goes. We are going to be expanding our both tonight. Meaning we are putting in a table that goes around the both and chairs, so you can sit down and take your time to enjoy your meal. Don't get me wrong, you can still grab your meal to go. Everyday we will go out to get fresh produce and meats, we also make everything from scratch so its the best that it can be. Well I hope this makes your mouth water and come back for more and more. Please enjoy.

Sweet Crepe's
Our Crepes are made to order. These sweet crepe's are a treat that can be enjoyed any time of the day. There light and versatile, they can be filled with anything from strawberries to bananas and apples, blueberries, mango, pineapples, dusted with icing sugar, ice cream, chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and even caramel sauce. This is one to make you come back for seconds. Want pocky ontop? Ask and well will do it!

Ramen
We have a wide varity of ramen. We serve fresh made Ramen noodles. Our bases include chicken, beef, pork / bbq pork, and shrimp broths and meat. We will top it off with sliced boiled eggs, wild ongion, pickled veggies, seaweed, shrimp swirls. Like Miso or Soy sauce? We can add that in there to. Caution: Served hot and fresh.

We serve made to order sushi. You can see how its made right in front of you. It's the freshest you have ever tasted.
Includes: Raw/Cooked Nigiri and Sashimi and Raw/Cooked/ Rolls and even Veggie Rolls.

We had over 150 billion in gold and items donated to us for this festival. Please take the time to
participate in one of our many contests! Some are very easy to participate in and really only
involve posting, while others are more involved! We worked very hard to come up with some fun
contests for you. We think all the prizes are really awesome, so you should definitely try to win
something!

The Festival of the Green Rabbit is very new! So new that we don't even know what our traditions
involve! Therefore, President Diedrich is charging you, the people of Gaia, with coming up with
good traditions for his Japanese Festival!

All you gotta do is make an avatar that portrays a tradition you think our Diedrich Festival would
have. This could be anything! Then, write up a little description of what all the tradition involves
and what it means to the people who celebrate it. This contest is meant to be fun, so try to be
imaginative here! We need to have a better idea of what we are supposed to do for next year!

How to Enter

Make an avatar portraying what you think a person attending our Festival might do as a
festival tradition. This can be anything. You can make it on Gaia or on tektek.
Save that image on photobucket, tinypic or another image hosting website.
Fill out the entry form and post over in this thread.
Try to come up with an imaginative tradition that relates some way to Diedrich.

Tradition Description:This is an ancient tradition originating in the time when many people where hungry and poor because of the emperor was a greedy fellow. But from the depths arose a hero- a small green rabbit-y hero! Whom disbanded the evil monarchy with the might of his mighty mighty-ness! Hince forth all the common folk celebrate by eating- a lot! They stuff their faces so full that they can't breath. Some may die but it is a death worth the risk... I mean just look at all that food!

Tradition Description: Did you know that a good beat kickin' in the background is the soul of any party? It's true! Our President would like to encourage any and all jivin' taiko drumming to keep the festival humming. Make some noise!
Disclaimer: Rockin' out with the D may or may not summon some Diedrich-y appendages onto your person.

PS: Taiko drums occasionally come alive and aspire to murder - make sure to beat them extra hard while partying with Diedrich!

Tradition Description: Diedrich has never been one for modesty, so NEXT year;
1. Dress like your favourite president, Diedrich!
2. Wear comfortable shoes. Did you know that comfortable shoes make a festival 34% more fun?
3. What do you do with the goldfish you catch at the games? You eat them! This is called sushi.
If it wriggles while it is going down, you are doing it right!

If you do these three things, it will be a wonderful green rabbit festival.
We will celebrate all night in our slippers, fuelled by the nutritious fish we catch.

The Japanese have a festival called Tanabata (七夕) or the Star Festival. It is usually celebrated
on July 7th and sometimes August 7th in Japan. The festival traces its origins to a legend that
the Cowherd Star (Altair) and Weaver Star (Vega), lovers separated by the Milky Way, are
allowed to meet just once a year - on the seventh day of the seventh month. It is very romantic!

When this time of year comes around, people write their wishes on strips of paper and hang
them on bamboo trees, along with decorations. The D-Party thought this would be a good
tradition to steal for our very own festival!

So please, write out your wishes over in this thread. Use beautifully colored
text to represent the colorful paper! You could have a chance of winning something!

Four random wishes will receive a small prize pack from the festival composed of a lucky cat, a

Diedrich loves the Festival! There is so much to do! There are various festival games, food to eat,
and the many traditions of the Festival to follow! If you are a talented artist, why don't try giving
Diedrich something to do? Draw him participating in some kind of Festival activity. This can be
anything. If you want to draw yourself having fun with Diedrich at the festival, that would be
awesome too!

There are many prizes you would have a chance at winning! So why not give it a try?

How to Enter

Draw a picture of Diedrich (and you together if you want) enjoying the time at the festival.
You can do this art digitally, with water color, construction paper; ANYWAY YOU WANT TO
MAKE IT!

making our own traditional Japanese Festival! It is only right that we also steal this time honored
tradition!

Event Goals:
1.) Attack members of the opposite team.

There are three attacks. The free one does the least damage, and the most expensive one does
the most. After each attack you must wait 5 minutes.
Counter attacks cause damage to you!

Attack: Does damage to opponent and earns your team 1 Spirit Point.
Fireball: Does damage to opponent and earns your team 100 Spirit Points.
Lightning: Does damage to opponent and earns your team 200 Spirit Points.

2.) Heal members from the same team.

Like with attack, the more expensive spells are more potent.

Heal: Heals for 2 points and gives your team 1 Spirit Point.

You must post within 30 minutes of attacking/healing someone.
