Welcome

            Welcome to Questbusters, a Ghostbusters themed charity. This charity isn't run the way most are. Our forms aren't often used for random gold donations, they are applications to be "chosen". More details on that are below in the assigned post.

            This is my first and hopefully only charity (because I hope it'll last forever) so please bear with me because of that factor and because I do have an offline life, however small it may be.

            The thread wasn't really started with the current theme, it was just a catchy name that stuck. After a few contests and amazing regulars, a logo was created and the thread was themed the way it is, today. But also note, I have loved ghostbusters for the longest of time, I just didn't plan this thread according to that. If you would like to know the complete story, then just go ahead and ask. (though if you mention the idea of the thread in one of your first few posts, I may bore you with the details, anyhow) But this is a "whim" charty.


        Rules:
            1. TOS. 'Nough said.

            3. Bumping is allowed. But conversations preferred.

        PANTY SNATCHING.
            8D Yup. You heard right. Suggested by Amu. No better post-graduation celebration. It's pretty simple. You steal others' panties. In other threads of course. Not mine. Those are under surveillance.
            There are certain steps to thieving Gaia panties.
            1. Choose a victim. Can't just be anybody. They must own panties for crying out loud. Thus you must have proof, there must be a visible pair on their avi.
            2. Plan out your heist. The details. Including time of day, that the victim would be doing around then and there you got them from, whether it be in the dirty hamper, lying about on the ground, etc.
            3. And since you are stealing panties from their home, you must post the details of the heist in their thread. (yes, this is limited to thread owners)
            4. Immediately following, come to QB and post of victory with an image of the owners avi and a link to the post of the snatching details.

            Rules:
            No mules.
            You must not know the people you snatch from.
            Don't link QB in your post. You don't even have to mention. But if you do, be subtle about it.
            Be sure to follow the other thread's rules when posting there.
            Boxers, underwear, bras and superhero overwear is applicable, nothing else.

        Page contest!
            Info on free art winning:

            Every fifty pages (multiples of 50) will get art of some kind by some artist.
            The artist varies. You can request an art shop but I like to pay roughly 50k tops per art.
            The person will be chosen through RNG. NOTE: This is a VERY slow process. If you have an art shop under 40k in mind, then let me know. (that way I have tipping room)
            I also tend to let 150 pages go by between catching up with this contest, but I do get around to it, eventually.

The points system.


        Through various ways, you win points, and the higher you let them build up, the larger prizes you can redeem them for. Neat-o, huh?

        This isn't only an elaborate scheme to give me an excuse for not selling my vends right away. It's also to encourage becoming a regular here.

        Rules:
            1. Only I may grant points and allow others to grant points.
            2. You may transfer or give your points to others.
            3. Anyone on the blacklist has zero points. No exceptions.


        How to win points:
            1. I may randomly grant them to those I wish.
            2. You win them through contests.



        How to exchange points:
            1. Send me a PM with the item(s) you would like to get. (and that you have enough points to get) be sure to include the current ABP.
            2. I will either PM you back, informing you of how much will be subtracted from your total points for the item and ask you to send me the trade.
            3. I will subtract your spent points and we will complete the trade.



            There is an equation to converting the price of the item over to the points that it will cost.
            For anyone that wants the mathematical aspect, then just ask me.

            But here are some numbers to help you a rough estimate.
                1k items = 1 point
                25k items = 24 points
                50k items = 45 points
                75k items = 65 points
                100k items = 85 points
                125k items = 105 points
                150k items = 120 points
                175k items = 137 points
                200k items = 153 points

How to be chosen


        To increase your chances of being chosen:
            Make progress on your own.
            Chat in the thread.


        Decreases chances:
            Trolling. (I stalk posts, many times)
            Filling out the form incorrectly.
            Not filling out the form at all. xD


        Restrictions:
            Single item quests cannot be over 1 mil for non regulars, 1.5mil for regulars.
            You must have some progress.
            Multiple items cannot add up to more than 700k for nonregulars, 1mil for regulars.

            Nominated forms have a limit of 400k items or multiple items adding up to 300k.
            Also for nominateds: no donation back to the thread is expected.

            Be sure to send the form in a PM with the title as your favorite kind of candy.

            This charity is like a quest, in a way that I try and focus on questing.
            But it is for others.Therefore, it's a chairty since anyone can be chosen.


        How things are done, in a jiffy:
            1. I collect forms.
            2. A few days after I finish a quest, I choose another one.
            3. Then I collect funds to buy the item through vending and such.
            4. I buy the item.
            5. I quote the person it was bought for, telling them to send me a trade.
            6. I put in the item. They add in a donation to the thread. (no donation for quests under 400k)
            And then the cycle repeats.
            Any forms collected after I choose will be used towards collecting for the next quest.
            I might make some random donations in between but I believe the contests are where spare gold goes to.

            The donation is used towards the next quest, to get me started.
            I used to trade the person's progress towards their quest.
            But they might need some for vending to make progress towards their next quest.
            So I now leave the choice up to them.
