Introducing Shadow Forums
Shadow Forums are the latest and greatest thing for the Gaia Online Forums. The best part is, hopefully the introduction of them won't be noticable by many, but helpful to all. Shadow Forums are forums on Gaia that have a second "fake" forum listed elsewhere on the site. These "shadows" redirect to the main subforum for a given area. Here is an example of a Shadow Forum:
The Musicians subforum will now be listed under both the Art Discussion and the Music forums. Clicking on either of these subforums will take you to the real Musicians subforum, located in Art Discussion. This allows us to list the forum in both places people commonly look for it. 3nodding
There will be the addition of a few Shadow Forums tonight as we roll out this system. The most noticably affected forums will be Anime/Manga/Comics and Music (since they share a few subforums). We hope that this change makes it easier for everyone to find the topics they are looking for on Gaia!
