This week we have a collection of rare formulas usually only found in Alchemist's Case -
Formula 4: Wicked Loud Horn, Formula 5: Vitaman, Formula 1: Angelic Quest Inizio, and Formula 1: Demonic Quest Inizio.

World Page Re-launch

For those who remember, a while back we worked with the community on creating an updated version of the World page. No more green box for I AM items:
For those who like to roam in Towns as the creature (I AM) items, the bug with the big green box had been removed. If you look really closely you might still find some artifacts, hopefully that will be fixed at a later date.

Bao items work with bao hairstyles
The Bao now covers the bao hair on both the front and the back. Small bug that had been with us for 7 years now. :O

Buy Tokens from Prize & Joy
We are going to remove the Gold Mountain gold shop soon so we've made tokens purchasable from within Prize & Joy. We're going to keep Lex (the NPC from the Gold Mountain gold shop) -- we're not sure yet what shop he will move to.

As always, if you have any issues with this update, please post a topic in the Bug Reports forum.

Also - I am currently troubleshooting the "missing forum titles" issue. It does appear to happen whenever a user replies using the iOS app. Thanks Torus Ragnarok for pointing this out!

Dumpster Dive Update

Just an update that the chance payouts for Dumpster Dive have been modified to include all forms of paper available from Towns.

As a reminder of how the game works...
As long as there are user donations in the bin you can dive, if not you then get 10 dives for random items from Towns trash, to bugs, to 1k - 10k items (similar to Daily Chance, and available once a day). Once you have exhausted the dives and if there are still no Gaian donations in the bin then you see the 'please donate' condition, as soon as there are more donations made by Gaians' you will be able to continue diving until the supply is again exhausted.

misc updates
We're patching a number of things right now:

The "tipping" notice setting in the MyGaia "settings" page used to do nothing because of a typo. It works now. If you aren't getting tipping notices, make sure the "Tip for forum post" is checked.
The mobile app had a typo that created weirdness when users replied to forum posts with the iOS app. This should be fixed, hopefully restoring notifications when the mobile app users reply to your posts.
We're making a change to the scripts that run when you try to login. Hopefully this will fix issues users have been having for the past few weeks when the login form complains "please enter your password" after you already have.

FireFox9 + Old footer
We are updating some YAHOO! code that we use. This update fixes multiple features that broke when FireFox 9 came out (notably the "old footer" not showing quicklinks).

It's a big change so please let us know in the Bug Reports forum if you see any weirdness or unusable features.

Facebook has warned us that our FaceBook Connect code may not work on/after Feb 1. We are upgrading our code as fast as we can to avoid this situation.

Just in case we don't get the upgrade done in time, please make sure you have and know your Gaia username and password in case you are unable to login using the Facebook Connect login button. Please try to login using your username/password in the Gaia login form to make sure you can before Feb 1.

This issue/change should not affect Gaia users that currently do not have FBConnect enabled on their Gaia account.
