Project Recolor Policy Change

We are now going to allow users to request normal or fantasy skintones for leg or body mods in their recolor! Previously, we wouldn't allow someone to request fantasy skintones unless we had already done a Gaia-made recolor of your chosen item with them. But now you don't have to wait for us to do that!

Fantasy skintones only include our standard fantasy colors: Grombie, Vampire, Dark Elf, Blue Elf, Cicero, White. No substitutions. There is also no blush, gradients, overlays, glows, etc. You can not pick and choose a few skins from the normal skintones and a few from the fantasy tones; it is one set or the other.

As always, you can select a custom solid color for the 7th pose (when applicable).

Diamond Ticket Rule Change

Hello everyone! I have some exciting news to share with you all!
We have made an slight ruling change to our Diamond Ticket which goes as follows:

You may choose to recolor up to 1 Lucky Catch item in your Diamond Tier.
You can either select it to be your Exclusive, or something in your suggestion list!
As a reminder, not all suggestions are used completely, so you may not actually get that set in your tier!

If you have a Diamond Ticket in queue waiting to be accepted, and would like to make edits to your order, please send an amended reply to the original e-mail chain!

These changes also apply to Double Diamond Tickets, just in case there is any confusion there!

Why apply to be a moderator on Gaia?

Gaia is currently looking to add more dedicated, creative, and passionate individuals to the moderation team. Moderators on Gaia have several roles and are one of the lifelines of the site.

Previous experience is not necessary. If you are willing to train as a moderator and put in the active effort, the moderation team will give you all the tools necessary for the job. If you are interested in a unique experience as a volunteer of Gaia, please consider applying to be a moderator on Gaia.

Help keep the site safe, clean, fair, and fun for everyone!

One of Gaia's first lines of defense is the moderation team on Gaia. They often remove offensive, harmful, or disruptive content and are an invaluable resource to the site. They also help keep the forums tidy for ease of use by the entire community. The smoother the forums run, the more fun our members can have on Gaia.

Join a passionate, dedicated team of fellow Gaians!

The moderation team is made up of Gaians who enjoy and are as passionate for Gaia as you are. Moderators come from all walks of life and communities on Gaia. They love the site so much that they want to help it stay healthy and watch it grow. The ultimate participation in our community is to help keep our space clean and our fellow members safe.

Moderators on Gaia also work hand-in-hand with Gaia's administrative team. If you have always wanted to volunteer alongside Gaia's administrators on various projects, this is the place for you.

Assist other Gaians in a unique way!

Reports are filed from all sorts of members on the site. If you become a member of the moderation team, you will have the opportunity to help others with their situations on the site. Whether it is a small thread move, removing inappropriate material, or assisting in cases of severe harassment, you can be a large part in helping members in innumerable ways.

Users also often ask moderators for assistance outside of immediate report issues. Moderators are very knowledgeable about the community at large and can answer a wide variety of questions. If you have expertise in a specific area on Gaia, it would serve you well if you choose to apply.

While a good moderator should mod to help the community, we do offer some benefits to those who end up joining our moderator team. These include:

A weekly amount of Gaia Gold/Platinum, items, and/or Gaia Cash depending on the amount of reports completed.
Instant access to the SCAS beta-testing guild where you can test all new features and occasionally events.
Moderators also get access to Cloud 9!
Occasionally moderators are allowed to take part in on-going Gaia events and role play as NPCs.
Gaia Online Moderation can be added as volunteer resume experience.

Project Recolor Update

A couple of quick updates from the Project team~

Hue shifting will only be allowed with a Double Rainbow ticket unless it is an official Gaia Online schemes (ie: dupioni, sorbet)
We now allow Kindred items to be recolored via the Stylist License and Accessory License, in addition to our previous allowance of Beautician license!

Regarding Mahō no Haru Tier

Hello Gaians! This morning the Mahō no Haru Tier went live and originally hit a snag, but at 9:23 AM PDT we were able to correct the changes and the tier is once again repeatable! We've done some further testing since then, and users should now be able to fund the tier and claim rewards multiple times, instead of the tier being locked after a single completion.

If you are experiencing any other issues with the tier/claiming rewards, please file a billing ticket at our Help Center.
