Net Neutrality

Hello Gaians,

As many of you have known, net neutrality is under attack by the new FCC chairman. There are many implications of what a world without net neutrality would be like, but this one image pretty much tells a reality to what things could be without net neutrality:

This is what's happening at Portugal right now. Without net neutrality, we can potentially face a reality where parts of the internet are blocked off unless we keep paying a premium. Not to mention the many other implications on how content providers such as Netflix will have to pay for bandwidth, as small companies who can't pay the premium will get driven out of competition.

We are now weeks away from the vote. Please pitch in and send a message to our congress.

Pop Square PopCast Test

Hello! Today at 2:00 PM we will be holding a Pop Square broadcast to test a new chat implementation. This show will be audio only. Feel free to stop by and participate with host Byul on whatever random things everyone wants to talk about while we evaluate how the chat performs.

As this feature is stll in beta, this broadcast will be limited entry, available to those who have purchased gcash in the 2017 calendar year.

Avatar loading problem being fixed
